Abstract

The competitiveness of livestock business is one strategic issue to guarantee the empowerment and sustainability of small scale beef cattle business. The study conducted on the competitiveness of beef cattle business in Tegal regency aims at (1) identifying the competitiveness of beef cattle business in various agro-ecological zones and (2) analyzing factors influencing the business competitiveness. This study employs a survey method to 100 beef cattle farmers in Tegal Regency. The respondents are selected using a stratified random sampling technique based on the agro-ecological zones (highland, lowland, and coastal areas). The observed variables are business efficiency, farmers’ age, farmers’ education, farming experience, number of family members, and number of cattle. The data are processed using ANOVA and multiple linear regressions. The beef cattle business in Tegal Regency is quite competitive which is characterized with the business efficiency by 1.39. The beef cattle business at the highlands has a higher competitiveness than that at the other agro-ecological zones (P <0.01). The competitiveness of beef cattle business is influenced by the farmers’ age (P <0.05), as well as the farming experience and number of cattle (P <0.01). The development of beef cattle business scale accompanied by the development of livestock production technical ability should be made to strengthen the competitiveness of beef cattle business in Tegal regency.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman ditinjau dari tingkat penguasaan kosakata siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri 2 Kemantren sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SDN 1 Perbutulan seabgai kelas control dengan sampel siswa kelas IV masing- masing sebanyak 30 siswa  yang dilaksanakan pada tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian menggunakan desain treatment by level 2 x 2. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis varians dua jalur (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar yang belajar dengan strategi direceted reading thinking activity lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar yang belajar dengan strategi ekspositori; (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara penggunaan strategi pembelajaran dan tingkat penguasaan kosakata terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah; (3) hasil belajar kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar antara siswa yang belajar dengan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) yang memiliki tingkat penguasaan kosakata tinggi lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang belajar dengan strategi ekspositori yang memiliki kemampuan penguasaan kosakata tinggi; (4) hasil belajar kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar antara siswa yang belajar dengan strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) yang memiliki tingkat penguasaan kosakata rendah lebih rendah daripada siswa yang belajar dengan stategi ekspositori yang memiliki kemampuan penguasaan kosakata rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk  meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif group investigation berbantuan media audiovisual. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian tindakan kelas. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi atau evaluasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVC SD Negeri  3 Banjar Jawa yang terdiri dari 12 orang siswa laki-laki dan 20 orang siswa perempuan. Bentuk analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Data hasil penelitian menunjukan pada siklus I data hasil belajar matematika mencapai 78,37% berada pada katagori cukup tinggi dan pada siklus II mencapai 88,78% berada pada katagori tinggi. Dengan demikian, peningkatan hasil belajar matematika mencapai 10,41%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif group investigation berbantuan media audiovisual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas IVC SDN 3 Banjar Jawa Tahun Pelajaran 2017/ 2018.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to get a description of State University of Jakarta (UNJ) readiness to take advantage of e-learning in implementation of lecture viewed from some aspects both institutional, technological, and pedagogical. The research carried out by using a mixed method implemented at the State University of Jakarta. The result showed that from the institutional dimension, UNJ can be expressed is not fully ready to take advantage of e-learning, the commitment and positive attitude of the heads to e-learning, and the readiness of human resources. the availability of hardware and software. most of lecturers overall have made the analysis of purpose before conducting lectures. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai kesiapan Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) melalui pemanfaatan e-learning dalam pelaksa-naan kuliah yang dilihat dari beberapa aspek, baik kelembagaan, teknologi, dan pedagogis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode campuran yang dite-rapkan di UNJ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari dimensi kelembagaan, UNJ dapat dinyatakan tidak sepenuhnya siap untuk mengambil keuntungan dari e-learning, adanya harapan untuk memanfaatkan e-learning, karena adanya komitmen dan sikap positif dari para pimpinan terhadap elearning, adanya kesiapan sumber daya manusia. tersedianya perangkat keras (hardware) dan perangkat lunak (software). sebagian besar dosen telah melakukan analisis tujuan sebelum melaksanakan perkuliahan.

Abstract

Abstrak - Gunung Kelud merupakan gunung api aktif yang berada di Kabupaten Kediri. Gunung Kelud dengan ketinggian 1731 meter merupakan gunung api yang memiliki ciri khas khusus yaitu memiliki danau kawah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peran peran komunikasi pada masyarakat sebagai upaya pengurangan risiko bencana dan menganalisis model kegiatan evakuasi korban pada masa tanggap darurat di Gunung Kelud. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian mengenai kearifan lokal pada masa tanggap darurat. Metode kuantitatif menggunakan system dynamics dipakai untuk mengetahui model kegiatan evakuasi korban. Hasilnya adalah terdapat dua kegiatan komunikasi yang ada pada masyarakat sekitar Gunung Kelud, yaitu kegiatan Radio Komunitas dan Sosialisasi Informal. Masyarakat sadar bahwa ada bahaya yang mengintai mereka setiap harinya dan merekat memiliki inisiatif untuk membangun radio komunitas sebagai salah satu alternatif penyampaian informasi mengenai status terbaru Gunung Kelud. Kegiatan Sosialisasi Informal dilakukan karena pemerintah tidak dapat menjangkau dan memberikan informasi dengan cepat dan tepat kepada seluruh masyarakat. Simulasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan menggunakan system dynamics menunjukan hasil bahwa jumlah penduduk yang terevakuasi meningkat setiap harinya, namun waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk memindahkan seluruh penduduk terdampak masih terhitung lama, yaitu 7 hari. Peningkatan jumlah penduduk yang terevakuasi setiap hari dipengaruhi oleh efektivitas kegiatan evakuasi.Kata Kunci: Komunikasi, Evakuasi Korban, Pengurangan Risiko BencanaAbstract - Mount Kelud is the volcano active are located in Kabupaten Kediri. Mount kelud with a height 1731 meters is the volcano having typical special that is having a crater lake who makes lava eruption very dangerous nearby residents. The purpose of this research is analyze the role of communication in mount kelud as an effort to disaster risk reduction and analyze model activities evacuate the victims who in the emergency on mount Kelud. This study used mixed methods. Qualitative methods are used to answer research questions about the local wisdom in emergency relief.  Quantitative methods using system dynamics models are used to determine the casualty evacuation activities. The result is that there are two type of communication in communities around Mount Kelud, namely the activities of Community Radio and Informal Socialization. The community is aware that there are dangers lurking glue them every day and have the initiative to establish a community radio as an alternative to deliver information about the latest status of Kelud. Informal Socialization activities carried out because the government can not reach out and provide information quickly and precisely to the entire community. Simulations conducted by researchers using system dynamics results show that the number of people who terevakuasi increasing every day, but the time required to move the entire population affected is still relatively long, ie 7 days. Increasing the number of people who terevakuasi every day is influenced by the effectiveness of evacuation activities. Keyword: Communication, Evacuation, Disaster Risk Reduction

Abstract

Beef cattle livestock businesses have an important role in the life of the breeder. Maintenance of beef cattle is generally still done traditionally so that its growth is relatively slow. Beef cattle breeders in the District of Lalembuu come from the origin of the different breeders (Java, Bali, and the Bugis). Based on the preliminary studies it is known that the breeder who originated from different areas has the habits and patterns of different maintenance. Survey and interview method applied to this study involving 60 ranchers respondents. The observed variables are characteristics of respondents, maintenance patterns, system maintenance, maintenance management, business scale, and the outpouring of work (hours of work). The pattern of beef cattle livestock business in district Lalembuu is a pattern of business nurseries. Percentages are based on the original breeders of the Bugis, Javanese, and Balinese is 95%, 90%, and 80%. System maintenance of cattle beef cattle in the District of Lalembuu more dominant done in semi-intensive, with the percentage of each of the original breeders from Bali, Java, and Bugis is 90%, 75%, and 65%. Maintenance management of cattle beef cattle in Lalembuu is a) the ownership of the purchased cattle breeder from Bali is 70%, Java is 55%, Bugis is 50% and the rest using rowdy's system. b) type of feed combination (elephant grass, rice bran, and agricultural waste) provided by the java breeders is 85%, Bali is 70%, Bugis is 65% and the rest use natural grass. c) marital system applied by all breeders are natural breeding. d) The dominant origin of breeders do not perform the treatment against his cattle afflicted by the disease) workflow of the breeder from Bugis, Java, and Bali each is 0,4, 0,44, and 0,46 HOK. The result oh different tests (t-test) showed that there was not significantly different (P>0,05) on workflow from the breeders.

Abstract

Web-based e-learning in management introductory courses at Pamulang University, this study discusses studying e-learning in subjects at Pamulang University specifically on management introductory courses. This research was conducted at Pamulang University. This research was conducted in March 2020 until July 2020. The research method uses qualitative methods with primary data or secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the use of e-learning at Pamulang University has provided benefits for system improvement and for improving the quality of comfort. And e-learning learning has been implemented well by Pamulang University or more focused on management study programs. Because e-learning has become a mandatory part, Pamulang University continues to improve so that its utilization continues to improve. At least some of the things that are unique from this research are the University of Pamulang using e-learning as a whole. All subjects must be scheduled to represent lectures conducted face-to-face. This supports the un pam students to have a closeness with technology.

Abstract

Senior High School (SMA) is a secondary education level that prioritizes the preparation of students to continue higher education with specialization. The realization of this specialization has been carried out from class X with three specialization programs, namely a specialization in Social Sciences (IPS), a specialization in Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA). Physics is one of the characteristics of the subject of the Mathematics and Natural Sciences specialization program which aims to make students have the ability to master concepts, principles of physics and develop thinking skills that are useful for solving problems in everyday life. This research was conducted in class XI MIPA at SMA YP IPPI having its address at Jalan Petojo Barat III / 2, Central Jakarta. The research will be carried out for 7 months, from January to July 2021. This research is a research and development study using the Alessi and Trollip model developed by Stephen M. Alessi and Stanley R. Trollip dan model waterfall by Sommerville Ian. The model consists of three stages of development, namely planning, design and development. The waterfall model is combined at the development stage. Combining the STEM approach and problem-based learning models with mobile learning can be one of the lessons that is suitable for generations. The results of these studies indicate that the development of cross platform mobile learning application with the STEM approach is effective in learning physics.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a mix training program with the help of seesaw to develop blended learning designs, obtain data on feasibility tests and test the effectiveness of the mix training program. The type of research used is research and development with a systems approach that refers to the ADDIE and PEDATI models. Methods of data collection by questionnaires, interviews, observation, study documentation and tests. The data is then analyzed by quantitative data analysis techniques and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study generally indicate that the quality of the prototype training program mix produced based on expert reviews from aspects of learning design, learning materials and media is 80.00%, 93.33%, and 86.66%. Meanwhile, based on the results of one to one and small group trials, the quality of the prototype produced was 85.38%. Based on the results of the expert review and user trials, it can be concluded that the prototype of the designed mixed training program is very feasible to use. Meanwhile, after implementing the seesaw-assisted mix training program to develop blended learning designs at the Community Learning Activity Center, the N-Gain score was 0.62 in the medium category, and the N-Gain score percentage value was 61.70% in the quite effective category. Thus, this mixed training program can improve the performance of the equivalence education tutors of the Community Learning Activity Center to develop blended learning designs.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran bahasa inggris terdapat empat keterampilan yaitu membaca, menulis, berbicara dan mendengarkan. Untuk dapat menguasai keterampilan bahasa inggris tersebut maka hal mutlak yang harus dimiliki adalah penguasaan terhadap kosakata (vocabulary). Seseorang yang menguasai kosakata lebih banyak maka dipastikan juga mampu menguasai keempat keterampilan bahasa inggris dengan baik. Kelas X1 IPA 3 SMAN 2 Cirebon merupakan salah satu kelas yang memiliki nilai pelajaran bahasa Inggris paling rendah dibandingkan dengan kelas XI lainnya yang diampu penulis. Pencapaian nilai rata-rata kelas hanya 73,5 sedangkan nilai KKM siswa 78 dengan rata-rata kelas 86. Begitu pula dengan ketuntasan belajar hanya 45,5% sedangkan standar ketuntasan 84%. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi dan tes, sedangkan data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 2 Cirebon sebanyak 44 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus yang berlangsung selama 2 bulan. Dari siklus 1 didapat peningkatan hasil belajar dengan rata-rata 84,2 dengan ketuntasan belajar 75%, sedangkan untuk rata-rata penguasaan vocabulary yaitu 15,1 dari total hafalan 20 kata atau berada pada kategori cukup. Walaupun mengalami peningkatan namun indikator ketercapaian belum terpenuhi baik nilai rata-rata hasil belajar, ketuntasan belajar maupun penguasaan vocabulary yang ditetapkan yaitu 20 kata atau berada pada kategori baik. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar, untuk nilai rata-rata naik dari 73,5 pada siklus I menjadi 93,1 dengan ketuntasan belajar mencapai 95,5% dan semua kosakata sebanyak 20 kata yang telah disusun dengan model guess word telah dihafal dengan baik oleh semua siswa. Hasil ini menunjukan ketetapan semua indikator telah dicapai, dengan demikian penggunaan model guess word dapat meningkatkan aktifitas belajar, hasil belajar dan peningkatan penguasaan vocabulary Kata Kunci : Guess Word, Hasil Belajar, Vocabulary
