National Final Examination is one of the tests that must be passed by each student in Indonesia who want to continue to pursue higher education. The test could cause anxiety on students due to graduation standards. One of the things that influence anxiety toward this test is individual characteristic especially the ability to regulate emotions which are very closely related to emotional intelligence. The sample of this study was 350 students in grade 3 junior high school that will facing National Final Examination from three schools in Banda Aceh. Data collected by The Emotional Intelligence Scale and The Anxiety Toward National Final Examination Scale. The results showed a correlation coefficient r = – 0.376, p = 0.000 ( P <0.05 ). This result implied that there is a negative correlation between emotional intelligence with anxiety toward National Final Examination in grade 3 junior high school’s students in Banda Aceh.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Anxiety, National Final Examination.

Abstract Marital infidelity is one of the problems that often caused the breakdown of a marriage, which can be done by husband or wife. Forgiveness is considered as one of the effective efforts to resolve problems in marriage, including infidelity. This study aims to analyze gender differences in forgiveness between individuals who experience marital infidelity. The samples of this study were 60 persons (30 females and 30 males) selected through quota sampling. Data were collected using Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivation (TRIM-18). Data analysis using Mann Whitney Test showed a significance value p = 0.000 (p<0.05), meaning there was a difference in forgiveness between females and males. Statistical analysis showed that females average score was lower compared to males, specifically 20,48 (females) < 40,52 (males), where the lower of the mean rank therefore the higher of the forgiveness level, and vice versa. It can be concluded that females tend to be more forgiving compared to males. Keywords : Forgiveness, Marital Infidelity, Gender   Abstrak Perselingkuhan merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang kerap menjadi penyebab retaknya sebuah pernikahan yang dapat dilakukan baik oleh suami maupun istri. Pemaafan merupakan salah satu upaya efektif untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam rumah tangga, termasuk masalah perselingkuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan pemaafan pada individu yang mengalami perselingkuhan dalam pernikahan ditinjau dari jenis kelamin. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah suami istri yang mengalami perselingkuhan sebanyak 60 orang (30 perempuan dan 30 laki-laki), dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling kuota. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Transgression-Related Interpersonal Motivation (TRIM-18). Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 (p<0,05), artinya terdapat perbedaan pemaafan secara signifikan antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata skor perempuan lebih rendah dibandingkan laki-laki, yaitu 20,48 (perempuan) ˂ 40,52 (laki-laki) dimana semakin rendah nilai mean rank maka semakin tinggi pemaafan, sebaliknya semakin tinggi nilai mean rank maka semakin rendah pemaafan. Hal tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa perempuan memiliki tingkat pemaafan yang cenderung lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan laki-laki. Kata kunci : Pemaafan, Perselingkuhan, Jenis Kelamin

Undergraduate research is the final project in order to completed the undergraduate degree. It is made by a college?s student under supervision. The direction process often cause anxiety for student. Anxiety is an emotional reaction of fear and anxious, thus requires the ability to control emotions such emotional intelligence. This study aimed to see the relationship of emotional intelligence and anxiety in Syiah Kuala University?s student while getting direction of research. The study was conducted on 257 student that were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data was collected by Schutte Emotional Intelligent Scale (SEIS) from Schutte, et al (1998) and anxiey scale of Depresion Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) that has been adapted by Damanik (2011). Data were analyzed by spearman technique with result p=0.000 (p=0.05) and correlation coefficient score -0.139. This show a negative relationship between emotional intelliegence and anxiety on Syiah Kuala University?s student while getting direction of research with 4.3% contribution (r-squared=0.043). It?s mean individual with the high level of emotional intelligence followed by the low level of anxiety, and vice versa.

Kecemasan bertanding merupakan perasaan khawatir, gelisah, dan tidak tenang dengan menganggap pertandingan sebagai sesuatu yang membahayakan yang disertai dengan perubahan fisiologis. Sebagai seorang atlet yang memiliki tuntutan untuk berprestasi saat bertanding, kecemasan bertanding pada atlet menjadi salah satu kondisi yang sering dialami atlet yang memengaruhi penampilan atlet dalam menghadapi pertandingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kecemasan bertanding pada atlet Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) Aceh ditinjau dari jenis aktivitas olahraga body contact dan non body contact. Sampel penelitian adalah atlet PON Aceh yang dipersiapkan untuk bertanding pada PON XIX Jawa Barat 2016 sebanyak 60 atlet (36 laki-laki dan 24 perempuan), yang berada pada rentang usia antara 17-28 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Sport Competition Anxiety Test (SCAT). Hasil analisis data menggunakan Independent Samples t-test dengan nilai signifikansi p=0.311 (p > 0.05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaankecemasan bertanding pada atlet PON Aceh ditinjau dari jenis aktivitas olahraga.Â Kata kunci : Kecemasan Bertanding, Atlet, Pekan Olahraga Nasional.Â Â Sport anxiety is a feeling of worry, nervous, and uneasy by assuming sport as something harmful followed by physiological changes. As an athlete who has demand of achievements, sport anxiety becomes a condition which often influences the athleteâ€™s performance in facing sport. Based on that background, this research intended to determine the difference of sport anxiety toward the athletes of Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) Aceh based on types of sport activities: body contact and non body contact. The sample was 60 athletes (36 males dan 22 females) whom were prepared to compete in PON XIX West Java 2016 with aged range between 17-28 years old. The data was collected by using Sport Competition Anxiety Test (SCAT), and the data was analyzed by using Independent Samples t-test with p value 0.311 (p>0.05), which means there was no differences anxiety toward the athletes of PON Aceh based on the types of sport activities.Â Â Keywords: Sport anxiety, athletes, Pekan Olahraga Nasional

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan positif antara komunikasi ibu-anak dengan kesiapan menghadapi menstruasi pertama (menarche) pada siswi SMP Muhammadiyah Banda Aceh. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa ada hubungan positif antara komunikasi ibu-anak dengan kesiapan menghadapi menstruasi pertama (menarche) pada siswi SMP Muhammadiyah Banda Aceh. Apabila komunikasi antara ibu dan anak berlangsung efektif maka remaja akan siap dalam menghadapi menstruasi pertama (menarche). Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, subjek diambil berdasarkan karakteristik yang telah ditentukan. Adapun skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kesiapan menghadapi menstruasi pertama (menarche) yang disusun mengacu pada aspek yang dikemukakan oleh Yusuf (2002) dan skala komunikasi ibu-anak yang disusun mengacu pada aspek yang dikemukakan oleh Devito (1995). Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Hasil analisis menunjukkan besarnya koefisien korelasi sebesar r = 0,547 dengan p = 0,000 (p<0,01). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada korelasi positif yang sangat signifikan antara komunikasi ibu-anak dengan kesiapan menghadapi menstruasi pertama (menarche), sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan diterima.Kata kunci : komunikasi ibu-anak, kesiapan menghadapi menstruasi pertama (menarche)Permalink : http://www.ejournal.undip.ac.id/index.php/psikologi/article/view/2885

This case study research aimed to see the resilience of women victims of rape. Four respondents are women rape victims who lived in Aceh and were selected using purposeful sampling and snowball sampling methods. Snowball sampling based on certain parties who know the source and location of the repondents. Data were collected using interviews and observation methods. Data analysis was performed with a theme per-subject analysis. Data were analyzed by interpreting and summing up the results of the interview each respondent. Interview guide was developed based on the aspects of resilience by Bonanno (2004). ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of the Empathic CaringConsultation (ECC) program on Professional Quality of Life (ProQOL) inpsychologists. This study involved seven psychologists. The researchsample was taken using purposive sampling method. The researchmethod used was one group pretest-post test design. ProQOL is measuredusing the Professional Quality of Life Version V scale, while theimplementation of ECC training refers to the concept of Prawitasari.Analysis using Wilcoxon signed-rank test with a significant value (p) =0.340 (BO); 0.932 (STS); 0.496 (CS) (p> 0.05). The results of the studyshowed that there was no effect of the ECC program on ProQOL onpsychologists. This is because there are several variations of the threeProQOL components before and after treatment.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh programEmpathic Caring Consultation (ECC) terhadap Professional Quality ofLife (ProQOL) pada psikolog. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapatpengaruh program ECC terhadap ProQOL pada psikolog. Hal initerdapat beberapa variasi dari tiga komponen ProQOL sebelum dansesudah pemberian perlakuan.

Emotional intelligence is an ability for someone to control and recognise their own emotions and othersâ€™s. Emotional intelligence can be developed through education and school environment. The purpose this study is to know the difference of emotional intelligence between Public Elementary School and Islamic Private Elementary School in Banda Aceh. The quantitative method is used with purposive sampling technique, involving 256 students of fifth grade, within the range of age 10 to 11 years old, both girls and boys. The Study took place in two Public Elementary School and two Islamic Private Elementary School in Banda Aceh. The data was analyzed by using t-test independent samples, the result shows t-count 0,745 < t table 1,969 and p 0,457, that is means there is no difference of emotional intelligence between Public Elementary School and Islamic Private Elementary School in Banda Aceh.

Gratitude is a value that is taught universally, either in religion or culture that surrounds us. Previous studies have demonstrated an association between gratitude with quality of long-term relationships such as romantic relationships, like marriage. This study aim to provide the description of the level of gratitude in marriage and marital satisfaction on early adult woman in Banda Aceh. This study uses a quantitative method by using purposive sampling. Methods of data collection in this study using The Gratitude Questionnaire-6 (GQ-6, which consists of 6 questions) and Enrich Marital Satisfaction (EMS, which consists of 15 questions). There are 93 early adult women participated on this study with characteristics between 20-40 years old, already have children, and have been married for 10 years maximum. Based on the results found that the gratitudeâ€™s average score is 35.6 with a standard deviation 3.67 and the marital satisfactionâ€™s average score is 53.53 with standar deviation 9.36 . The result of this study shows that most early adult women in Banda Aceh has moderate level of gratitude and marital satisfaction.
