Abstract

Penelitian perahu Lancang Kuning yang berorientasi Identifikasi, dokumentasi, Inventarisasi, data dan kearifan lokal serta penggunaan teknologi yang bernuansa lokal pada skala Propinsi yang lebih utama berorientasi kemaritiman. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini sejalan dengan RIP UMRAH dan kepentingan daerah Provinsi Kepulauan Riau berjudul “Perahu Lancang Kuning kearifan lokal masyarakat Melayu Bintan Kepulauan Riau”. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menginventarisir kearifan lokal, pengaruhnya bagi masyarakat, masalah yang timbul dalam pembangunan dan bagaimana penentuan strategi bagi kelanggengan eksistensinya. Metodologi penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan pengumpulan data primer dan skunder baik kuantitatif maupun kualitatif dari pemangku kepentingan (stakeholder), melalui diskusi, wawancara mendalam dan pertanyaan-pertanyaan. Penelitian ini akan menelusuri tiga jenis warisan kapal orang Melayu yang digunakan dalam aktiviti perdagangan dan kegiatan maritim pada zaman lampau; yaitu jenis kapal besar bagi penjelajahan di lautan dan antara benua, jenis kapal sederhana bagi penjelajahan di antara pelabuhan di Alam Melayu dan jenis kapal atau perahu kecil untuk kegiatan di pinggir pantai dan sungai. Perahu Lancang Kuning merupakan 10 perahu tradisional di Indonesia, di beberapa daerah wujud perahu tradisional masih ada sampai sekarang tetapi Perahu Lancang Kuning tidak ditemukan wujudnya di lingkungan masyarakat Melayu Kepulauan Riau. Untuk itu perlu digali dan pendalaman secara serius mencari jejak sejarah yang sebelumnya menjadi sebuah Kerajaan Riau Lingga Johor (museum Johor dan museum Terenggano Malaysia); Siak, Pekanbaru, Medan dan Belanda.

Abstract

Caisin atau caisim (Brassica juncea L.) merupakan hortikultura yang banyak dikonsumsi masyarakat karena banyak mengandung vitamin dan mineral. Faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi tanaman caisin diantaranya adalah serangan hama tanaman. Pemantauan populasi arthropoda pada tanaman caisin bisa dilakukan dalam menekan populasi hama. Penelitian bertujuan mengamati ragam dan jumlah populasi arthropoda tanaman caisin pada beberapa tingkat umur. Penelitian dilaksanakan lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Palembang. Penelitian ini dilakukan bulan Februari sampai dengan April 2014. Arthropoda di tanah dan tajuk pada tanaman perlakuan yang ditemukan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk gambar. Data komposisi spesies dan jumlah individu arthropoda ditajuk dan tanah pada perlakuan digunakan untuk menganalisis ragam dan jumlah populasi spesies. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ragam arthropoda yang ditemukan pada tanaman caisin umur 7, 14, 21, 28, 35 dan 42 hst masing-masing 1, 5, 15, 17, 18, 12 spesies dan 6, 25, 114, 249, 335, 176 individu. Keragaman arthropoda tertinggi pada umur tanaman caisin 28 hst yaitu 0,930 dan terendah 7 hst yaitu 0. Indeks dominasi arthropoda tertinggi pada tanaman caisin umur 7 hst yaitu 1,00 sedangkan terendah 21 hst yaitu 0,325. Sedangkan Indeks kemerataan tertinggi pada tanaman caisin umur 28 hst yaitu 0,744 dan terendah 7 hst yaitu 0. Pemantauan populasi arthropoda penting guna mengurangi penggunaan pestisida sintetik dalam menekan organisme pengganggu tanaman (OPT).

Abstract

None of the dried plant leaves in Sukamoro Village use them as organic fertilizer, instead, they are piled up as garbage and then burned.  This dry leaf litter is a problem and is considered to be very polluting to the nature conservation disturbance. If the dry leaf litter can be processed into solid organic fertilizer, it can reduce environmental pollution and is very useful in increasing plant growth and production. This organic fertilizer is easy to make and raw materials are available in the Sukamoro village.  This service aims to invite the people of Dusun Talang Ilir to use dry leaf litter as organic fertilizer. The counseling had been held in Talang Ilir Hamlet RT 03 RW 01 Sukamoro Subdistrict, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra from February 8 to March 8, 2021, with KKN Class 25 students of 2021.  The method used was the socialization of making organic fertilizer using dry leaf litter around the environment.  The people of Talang Ilir Hamlet RT 03 RW 01 Sukammoro Village want to try making organic fertilizers from dry leaf litter.

Abstract

An area of 12.90 million ha of dry land has not been used optimally for agriculture, opportunity available to plant watermelons with proper cultivation techniques, including the use of biological and inorganic fertilizers. Biofertilizers can help provide NPK nutrients for watermelon plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriate dosage of biological fertilizers and compound NPK for increasing watermelon yields. The research was conducted at AKN Sakojo No.21 Kel. Kedondong Raya Kec. Banyuasin III Pangkalan Banyuasin City Hall, South Sumatra from July to October 2020. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK). Factorial 1 is the dose of liquid biological fertilizer, namely: 10 mL/L, 20 mL/L, and 30 mL/L. Factorial II is Compound NPK, namely: 600 kg/ha, 900 kg/ha, and 1200 kg/ha. The highest production of 22.32 kg/plot (38 tons/ha) was achieved at a dose of 30 mL/L of liquid biological fertilizer and 1200 kg/ha of compound NPK fertilizer.

Abstract

Organic waste in the form of vegetable and fruit residues from the Gandus market has a high potential to be used as liquid organic fertilizer with the help of Azospirillum bacteria and phosphate solvents.  The liquid organic fertilizer produced can be used as fertilizer for plants in farmers' yards and gardens and reduce environmental pollution as well as streamline the use of chemical fertilizers and its manufacture is practical and easy for the community to do.  The counseling was carried out in Karang Anyar Village, Gandus District, Palembang City from February to March 2019. The method was carried out by counseling and demonstrating how to make liquid organic fertilizer with the help of Azospirillum bacteria and phosphate solvent.  The community in Karang Anyar Village is very excited to receive knowledge in the utilization of organic waste into liquid organic fertilizer.

Abstract

The community of Gelebak Dalam Village, Rambutan Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency is a village rich in plants and livestock, including rice, vegetables and fruits as well as chickens, cows, goats, ducks. All of them are sources of agricultural waste that can be used as organic fertilizer. The processed organic fertilizers can be used for rice, vegetables and fruit crops, reduce organic agricultural agricultural waste which can improve land to become more fertile and quality in the resulting production (improve the quality in terms of taste) and can very clearly reduce the use of chemical fertilizers. This counseling was carried out from July 2022 to August 2022 for the people of Gelebak Dalam Village The methods used included counseling, demonstration of making organic fertilizers and mentoring until organic fertilizers were successfully made. The aim of this counseling is that it is hoped that the community can utilize agricultural waste to be processed into organic fertilizer. The hope that the Village community will process agricultural waste into organic fertilizer is very large with successive questions arising and will enthusiastically try to apply it to their own rice fields and gardens. The results achieved are that farmers have succeeded in making organic fertilizer from agricultural waste in the village of Gelebak Dalam.

Abstract

Arthropods are a diverse group of animals and play an important role in agricultural ecosystems, including in cucumber plantings in Talang Ilir Hamlet, Banyuasin Regency. This research aims to determine the diversity and abundance of arthropods in the canopy of cucumber plantations in Talang Ilir Hamlet, Banyuasin Regency. The research was carried out in February and April 2023 at 3 cucumber planting locations in Talang Ilir Hamlet, Banyuasin Regency. Observations were made by identifying, and recording the number and type of arthropods at different times in each location. The research used a Factorial Randomized Block Design and the research data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and a further BNT test at 5% level. The research results showed that the arthropod species found at the 3 observation locations were Coccinella sp, Aulacophora sp, Diaphania sp, Spodoptera sp, Ideopsis sp, and Apis sp. The highest average number of arthropods was found in A2 (Diaphania sp) 3.37 individuals, and followed by A5 (Apis sp), A1 (Coccinella sp), A6 (Ideopsis sp), A3 (Aulacophora sp) and A4 (Spodoptera sp) respectively. 2.90, 1.77, 1.47, 1.23 and 0.10 tails. Location 1 (L1) had a higher average number of arthropods, namely 2.22 compared to Location 2 (L2) 1.57 and Location 3 (L3) 1.63 arthropods. Based on the type and location of observations, it was concluded that there were significant differences in the number of arthropods in the cucumber plantings of Talang Ilir Hamlet, Banyuasin Regency.
