Abstract

This research aimed to design a strategy to develop character learning mathematics students that were based on the values of Islam. This study were in the frame of research and development method using qualitative approach. Subject of this research was the first year of undergraduate students of mathematics education department who took basic mathematics courses. Mathematics learning strategies in developing th character were designed in three stages to develop students character. The first stage was the inculcation. At this stage, lecturer facilitated students with activities that were able to raise awareness of the value of the character in learning. The second stage was Implementation where the lecturers facilitated student learning activities that fostered character value. Activities fostered values characters implicitly include group discussion, problems solving, seeking information from various sources, preparations reports, and presentations. The final stage was reflection, where the lecturer together with students did reflection on themselves and on the values of the characters that had not been well grown in learning. The results of interview with students suggest that the use of learning strategies has a positive impact on student character development.

Abstract

Simulasi numerik di daerah panas bumi Bittuang menggunakan program simulator TOUGH2 dengan Equation of State (EOS1), satu fasa, disusun berdasarkan konseptual model hasil survey geologi, geokimia, geofisika (3-G) dan pengeboran landaian suhu sumur BTG-1.Parameter yang digunakan antara lain permeabilitas, porositas, konduktivitas panas serta kapasitas panas batuan. Susunan penyebaran litologi secara lateral dan vertikal berdasarkan grid blok serta tersusun menjadi beberapa lapisan mendekati model konseptual. Kondisi inisial dan batas kondisi diberikan berdasarkan data-data yang tersedia.Hasil simulasi yang didapatkan setelah mengalami proses uji coba beberapa kali dengan merubah beberapa parameter simulasi dan hasil yang paling baik dikalibrasi dengan hasil pengukuran temperatur sumur pengeboran l andai an suhu BTG-1 serta kemunculan manifestasi permukaan. Mengingat keterbatasan data yang dimiliki, hasil simulasi inimerupakan proses inisial (permulaan) simulasi untuk sistem panas bumi Bittuang dan masih harus dilakukan update berdasarkan data lanjutan.

Abstract

Data hasil perekaman dengan metode magnetotellurik di daerah mata air panas Cubadak, Sumatera Barat telah diolah dengan perangkat lunak pengolahan data MT. Hasil pengolahan data berupa gambar sebaran resistivitas pada lintasan yang dipilih terhadap kedalaman. Letak batuan penudung, reservoir dan patahan dapat ditentukan pada gambar lintasan tersebut. Hasil pengolahan data berupa pemodelan yang ditampilkan dalam gambar nilai resistivitas terhadap kedalaman dan jarak antar titik ukur pada lintasan yang telah ditentukan. Lintasan yang digunakan ada dua yaitu lintasan Uutara-Selatan dengan 6 titik ukur dan lintasan Barat Daya-Timur Laut dengan 7 titik ukur. Pada lintasan utara-selatan dapat diduga adanya potensi panas bumi diantara titik ukur MTCB-16 dan MTCB-22 pada kedalaman 1000 meter yang ditunjukkan dengan penurunan resistivitas dari 35-61 Ωm menjadi 15-27 Ωm. Pada lintasan barat daya-timur laut terdapat penurunan resistivitas dari 20-200 Ωm menjadi 5-12 Ωm di kedalaman 1000 meter yang diduga sebagai batuan penudung pada sistem panas bumi di daerah mata air panas Cubadak.

Abstract

The US-China trade war in 2018-2020 has attracted the attention of many observers and researchers to investigate the driving forces that cause the clash between the two great power countries. Most of them place this phenomenon in the prism of realism by using Thucydides’ trap as a framework. Several studies analyze it within the framework of economics and political economy perspectives. This article tries to fill the gap in the explanation of the US-China trade war by using the economic diplomacy framework. Based on a qualitative method, the author argues that the United States under the leadership of Donald Trump uses tariff bargaining as a diplomatic tool to protect and maintain the supremacy of the United States' innovation and technology against China.
