Abstract

This study aimed to describe (1) the concept of leadership in pituduh that fit into the category ketuhunan and (2) the concept of leadership in wewaler (Prohibition). This research is the study of literature. The method used in this study is a content analysis method. The object of this study is the concept of Suharto. The subjects were Unen-Unen (proverb). Data collected with a note reading techniques. The primary data source is selected by using purposive sampling method. The conclusions made by the formulation and the conclusion of the data that has been analyzed and interpreted with the use of the theory of Paul Ricoeur hermeneutics. The results of this study are as follows. First, the concept of leadership in pituduh (hint) that fit into the category of divinity has two leadership instructions: (1) be applicable authorities properly, (2) the truth of God into a basic truth of the ruler. The concept of leadership in pituduh (hint) that fit into the category of nationality include (1) a good leader is a dreamer fair, spirited noble, able to give jobs to the people, (2) A good leader is a leader who can reassure the people, (3 ) A good leader is willing and able to fix the flaws and vices, (4) leadership is a trust from God, (5) A good leader wary of praise, (6) a good leader wary of bad temper, (7) the leader of the evil is the leader dangerous, (8) Choosing a good leader is not an evil leader, (9) the evil leader will declare evil is goodness. Second, the concept of leadership in wewaler (Prohibition) includes two categories, namely humanity and nationality. Category prohibition in humanitarian terms include a ban on the leaders of banned arrogant leader. The prohibition in respect of nationality shows that good leaders leaned pleasure and sadness on the basis pleasure and pain the people, not on personal pleasure and pain.

Abstract

Epos Ramayana merupakan epos kuno yang ditulis dalam tujuh kanda terdiri atas 24.000 sloka. Di Jawa epos Ramayana pertama kali muncul secara lengkap dalam bentuk relief di Candi Lara Jonggrang yang dibangun sekitar tahun 782 hingga 872 M. Epos tua yang hidup di masyarakat Jawa ini pastilah mempunyai ajaran. Tokoh Rama sebagai tokoh utama merupakan simbol paling utama dalam epos ini. Berkait dengan simbol ajaran, tokoh Rama dalam epos Ramayana Jawa mempunyai fungsi bagi Raja Jawa dan masyarakat Jawa. Bagi raja simbol tokoh Rama memiliki tiga fungsi utama. Pertama sebagai fungsi spiritual. Kedua adalah fungsi legitimasi kekuasaan. Ketiga adalah fungsi pencitraan. Adapun bagi masyarakat Jawa, simbol tokoh Rama memiliki dua fungsi utama. Pertama adalah fungsi spiritual. Kedua adalah fungsi filosofis.

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah upaya menggali dan memunculkan potensi di kalangan guru yang memiliki tugas sebagai pendidik dan pengajar sekaligus contoh bagi peserta didiknya. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah metode pelatihan/praktik langsung di lapangan, yaitu praktik menulis teks syair.  Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru Bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMP di Kabupaten Bantul dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mencipta karya sastra. Selain itu, memiliki pemahaman terhadap cara pengembangan ide tulisan serta unsur syair. Setelah memiliki pemahaman tersebut, kegiatan pelatihan ini meluncurkan buku kumpulan teks syair karya guru-guru yang berjudul Ken Ratri dan Satria Batu Pualam. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian berupa pelatihan penulisan teks syair ini dapat: (1) memperjelas motivasi dan orientasi bersastra sehingga terbentuk kejelasan sikap berkesenian sastra, (2) merangsang semangat (etos) kreatif para peserta pelatihan khususnya dan masyarakat pada umumnya, (3) memupuk minat dan bakat peserta pelatihan sehingga mereka memiliki kepekaan apresiasi dan kemampuan kritis/ekspresi serta pada giliran berikutnya mereka menjadi manusia yang memiliki kepribadian kreatif.

Abstract

Poem Sidi Djamadi is one of the poems of the Minangkabau which contains Islamic teachings. This study aims to describe the concept of clothing in the poem Sidi Djamadi and clothing as a representation of piety in the poem Sidi Djamadi. This poem was written by Shaykh Sidi Djamadi as a transmitter of Islamic teachings. This poem is examined by Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutic approach. This research uses Paul Ricoeur's hermeneutics approach. The object of research is the poem Sidi Djamadi. The research subject is clothing as a representation of piety. Data obtained through transliteration, data inventory, analysis and interpretation, and conclusions. The results of this study are Syair Sidi Djamadi has two concepts of clothing, namely outerwear and inner clothes. Birth clothes are clothes cover genitalia. Clothing as a representation of aurat cover is complete clothing, clothing that functions as a cover of aurat. This type of clothing has many kinds. Daily clothing, special worship clothing (ihram cloth for Hajj and Umrah) and fi sabilillah war clothing. These three kinds of clothes were born to cover the nakedness and support the worship. Inner clothing is the concept of piety clothing (libas attaqwa). The concept of inner clothes consists of five types of representations. The five types of representation are clothing as a representation of faith, clothing as a representation of righteous deeds, clothing as a representation of a good way of life, clothing as a representation of concern for the torment of God, and clothing as a representation of shame.

Abstract

In the era of industrial revolution 4.0, many human activities depend on the gadget and the internet connection. We can observe the daily activities of human life right now. When they wake up in the morning, they usually start by using their handphones or gadget. This condition motivates educators to build a digital module in order to use the positive point of view of the Industry Revolution 4.0 era. In this chance, the researchers develop two topics that are very important for human life in Industry Revolution 4.0, whicht are, human literacy and technology literacy. Both of the topics were derived into two-courses. The course of development of students (Perkembangan Peserta Didik) will be representing the human literacy topics and the course of introduction to Biotechnology (pengantar bioteknologi) will be representing the technology literacy topic. The research is research and development. Furthermore, the products of this research are flipbooks that were uploaded on the Learning Management System managed by Universitas Ahmad Dahlan.

Abstract

As one of Indonesian original literary works, Syair needs to be introduced and taught proportionally. Unfortunately, in the implementation of teaching, syair still meets some constrains, including (1) Indonesian language textbooks in junior high schools contain only a small amount of material on syair. (2) syair teaching is focused on cognitive competence, so it is not attractive. (3) syair teaching material only provides the definition, the elements, and limited examples. (4) there is no digital-based teaching material specifically for syair that is used as teaching material. (5) the teacher found difficulty providing examples on how to read syair according to the song or venom. Therefore, it is necessary to develop digital-based teaching materials in syair teaching. This research uses the Research Development method developed by Borg and Gall. The research stage that has been carried out in the development stage and the teaching materials' feasibility test. Based on the feasibility test results on the Syair application, it can be concluded that this application is feasible to be applied to Class VII SMP students. In addition, based on the validator's assessment, the limited trial and large class of this application in terms of material and learning is appropriate and feasible to use to meet students' needs in learning and mastering syair.Keywords: It consists of maximum five words/phrases typed in bold style.

Abstract

Saat ini pendidikan karakter yang berbasis lingkungan perlu dikuatkan lagi agar dampak dari pengembangan daerah tidak merugikan lingkungan alamnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan serta menguatkan pendidikan karakter yang fokus terhadap lingkungan pada cerita rakyat Papua. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendidikan karakter dalam cerita rakyat papua. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu cerita rakyat papua yaitu Asal-Usul Persebaran SukuSuku di Merauke, Cipriw yang Malang (Terjadinya Pohon Kelapa), Bertha Menjelma Seekor Burung Cenderawasih, Sre Saring, Musnahnya Kampung Habele, Cabo dan Batu Ajaib, Dame dan Dufun, Asal Mula Pohon Sagu, Patung Mbis dan Burung Kasuari, Konwuk dan Konweng. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian iniyaitu teknik baca dan catat. Sedangkan teknik analisis data penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa bentuk pendidikan karakter berbasis lingkungan yang dapat menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan alamnya serta membudayakan literasi untuk menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan , khususnya pada cerita rakyat Papua. Terdapat dua cara dalam upaya menumbuhkan Pendidikan karakter berbasis lingkungan melalui cerita rakyat Papua, 1) Menggunakan isi dari cerita rakyat Papua yang di dalamnya mengandung nilai kearifan lokal, 2) Menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap budaya literasi pada cerita rakyat Papua.Kata kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Cerita Rakyat Papua

Abstract

In the 1920s, pantun became part of Islamic religious education in the archipelago. The aim of this study is to describe Islamic religious education in Pantun Melayu published by Balai Pustaka. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The research object of interest in this research is Islamic religious education in Pantun Melayu. Data was collected using reading and note-taking techniques and analyzed using content analysis based on the Islamic religious education data group in Pantun Melayu. The results of this study show that Islamic religious education in Pantun Melayu includes monotheism education, sharia education, moral education and education through Islamic stories. The five types of education in this pantun can be used as a medium for da'wah to strengthen the delivery of the message of Islamic education.
