Abstract

This study aims to describe and categorize the types of language errors in the Class VII Mathematics Electronic School Book (BSE). The content analysis is a design chosen through a qualitative descriptive approach. The data source comes from BSE Mathematics Class VII. Data in the form of language errors related to speech errors, rules, and word choices in the Mathematics Electronic School Book. Data were collected using identification and categorization techniques in the corpus table. This study shows 43 language errors identified in BSE, consisting of 12 lapses, 21 errors, and ten mistakes. The results of this study become input for improving the use of language in electronic school books so that users can easily understand the meaning conveyed.

Abstract

The headmaster's performance is influenced by several factors. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of education and training and managerial competence on the performance of school principals. The method used in this research is quantitative with an ex-post facto design. Sampling was selected in a multistage manner from 19 State Senior High Schools in North Luwu Regency. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires for further data analysis with multiple regression. The test results show the effect of education and training on the performance of principals with a coefficient of 43.7%, the effect of managerial competence on the performance of principals with a coefficient of 52.5% and the effect of education and training and managerial competence on the performance of principals with a coefficient of 52, 6%. Thus, it is concluded that the implementation of education and training, as well as managerial competence, affect the performance of school principals.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of religious orientation and self efficacy on the meaning of Islamic education. Technique of data analysis of this research use correlation and regression statistic test conducted by IAIN Palopo student with 75 respondents. The design of this research is the correlation design between the relation of religiosity orientation with the meaning of Islamic religious education, the relationship of self efficacy with the meaning of Islamic religious education, and the relation of religious orientation and self efficacy to the meaningfulness of Islamic religious education. After the research done by spreading the questionnaire, it was found that the orientation of religious self efficacy had an effect on the meaning of Islamic education either simultaneously or partially. Reflective contribution for religious orientation was 41,51%, and self efficacy was 58,49%, while for the effective contribution of religious orientation variable was 2.99%, and self efficacy variable was 4,21%. 4,6% variation meaningfulness Islamic education can be explained by the orientation of religiosity and self efficacy, while the remaining 95,4% is explained by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the forms of child sexual imitation behavior, influencing factors and the role of parents and teachers in addressing the sexual imitation of children. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research using direct observation and interview methods as research data sources. The results of this study indicate that children engage in sexual imitation in the form of sexual movements. This behavior is caused by errors in parenting. Parenting is too permissive so that it does not allow the child to sleep alone as a result the child sees his parents having sexual relations and imitates them when playing or studying at school. In dealing with these behaviors, a Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) approach can be used where parents play a role in training the independence of children by (1) creating a pleasant atmosphere for children (2) giving positive suggestions through fairy tales. While in school teachers provide positive education and suggestions through learning programs in schools by integrating sexual education into the appropriate learning themes.

Abstract

Effective learning information that is easily understood by students. So the use of communicative language becomes an important topic in learning without exception Islamic religious education. This article discusses the use of communicative language, influential factors, and communicative language needed in the learning of Islamic religious education. Descriptive qualitative data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and recording/video. Sources of research data are Islamic religious educators and students in SMP Negeri 5 Palopo. Data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman which divided into data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The researchers' findings show that the use of communicative language in the teaching of Islamic education is quite good and the factors that influence the use of communicative language are internal and external factors originating from educators, students, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure. Communicative language needed in Islamic religious education learning is communicative language that is easily understood by students, interspersed with the use of local languages, uses appropriate media and teaching aids and takes into account the condition of students while still referring to the communicative competencies that teachers need to have.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the relationship between interior design, book collections, and readers' interest in visiting the university library. This research approach uses a quantitative paradigm with a correlational method. This study is to measure the relationship between interior design variables (X1), library book collections (X2), and interest in visiting readers (Y). The population of 2,802 was drawn in the sample to 97 through the multistage sampling technique. Data collection instruments, using observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The research data were analyzed using SPSS version 20 software to provide an overview of simple correlations and multiple correlations. The results showed that the interior design of the IAIN Palopo Library was excellent (93.4%), the book collection was in a reasonably good category (66.7%), and the interest in visiting students at the IAIN Palopo Library reached 88.2% with an excellent category. The correlation analysis result shows a simultaneous relationship between interior design and book collection in terms of visiting interest. Based on this, it is necessary to have an interior design and other book collections so that the library meets visitors' expectations. The visitors' interest is strongly influenced by the interior design and the collection of books. Libraries can improve the interior design by paying attention to aesthetic aspects, economic management, the function of space, the safety of library materials, and the comfort and health of visitors. Hasil analisis korelasi diketahui terjadi hubungan simultan antara desain interior dan koleksi buku ditinjau dari minat kunjung. Berdasar dari hal itu, perlu adanya rancangan interior dan penambahan koleksi buku agar perpustakaan sesuai dengan harapan pengunjung. Minat kunjung pemustaka sangat dipengaruhi oleh desai interior dan koleksi buku. Perpustakaan dapat memperbaiki desain interior dengan memerhatikan aspek estetika, pengelolaan yang ekonomis, fungsi ruang, dan keamanan bahan pustaka, serta kenyamanan dan kesehatan pengunjung. Abstract

This research aims to create a learning model of memorization of the Qur'an based on the nature of the brain that tends to require relevance between the projection of information that occurred internally in the brain (internal representation) and externally presented information outside the brain (external representation). Integration of the two modes of representation was carried out through a developmental study by adopting Research and Development (R & D) from Borg and Gall as a reference for the development of conceptual frameworks and memory models of Y Wang as a reference framework of the development of operational stages. From the model development process, several components of the model implementation have successfully been developed. The model implementation was operationally integrated with internal and external representation modes such as Phase I: the formulation of indicators, Phase II diagnostic assessment dealing with prior al-Qur’an memorizing ability, Phase III Conditioning students, Phase IV Coding memorizing materials, and Phase V repetition and recalling memorizing outcomes.

Abstract

The emergence of radicalism problem has threatened disintegration of nation. Therefore, it needs a big role of education especially Islam religious education in preventing the understanding of radical religious teachings, maintaining the character of loving peace and nationalism values. Thus, this research is important to be conducted. This research aims to elaborate de-radicalization of Islamic teachings in Senior High School. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. Research data was obtained from the implementation of curriculum 2013 by senior high school teachers of Islamic religious education in Masamba, South Sulawesi. Data collection was done through direct observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. Data validity was checked through source triangulation and methods. The analysis was done by collecting, presenting, reducing, and drawing conclusion. The results of research were shown that de-radicalization in Islamic education faced several obstacles in achieving assessment standard. Nevertheless, Islamic education in curriculum 2013 can foster students’ character of religious, tolerant, democratic, and peace-love. As an effort of preventing, de-radicalization was done early through Islamic education. The practice of de-radicalization was carried out by teachers in a form of introducing and implementing religious values, tolerance, and nationalism in learning process by integrated with syllabus, teaching materials, and lesson plan.

Abstract

Research on the development of media translating the Qur'an was made to determine the need, design, and validity of learning media solving in the learning material of the Qur'an and Hadith in class III MI Dato Sulaiman Palopo. This research method is a research and development (RD) method. The development model used in this development is the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation), but it was only carried out to the development stage in this study. The subject of this research involved 30 students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document searches analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The needs analysis results show that students need interesting symbols/pictures as learning media and add lesson content well. Learning media is designed by integrating multi-representation in Sempokas media. The feasibility of media teaching materials translating the Qur'an was carried out with the assessment of media experts with a grade level (89.5%), material experts (95.8%), linguists (91.6%), and subject teachers (96, 4%) excellent category. Thus, Sempokas media can be applied in learning to understand and translate Surah Al Ikhlas
