Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed in explaining the influence of social capital toward career success. The design of this research was explanatory research. Using two stage sampling, the 232 questionnaires were distributed to the manager of state-owned companies (BUMN) at East Java and 108 of the questioner were returned. The result of structural equation model analysis showed that social capital affected toward career success. Abstract

The aims of research are to examine and to analyze whether workplace spirituality to turnover intention through the organizational commitment (the study of the employee non-nurse medical directorate RS. Al – Irsyad Surabaya). The sampling technique of research used proportionate stratified random sampling, with 86 respondents as sample. Statistical analysis method used partial least square (PLS). Based on causality test, showed that spirituality in the workplace has positive and significant on the organizational commitment.  Organizational commitment has negative and significant on the turnover intention. The value of the coefficient indirect effect of spirituality in the workplace against turnover intention through organizational commitment is greater than the direct effect of spirituality in the workplace against turnover intention. The result that organizational commitment as mediation of spirituality in the workplace to turnover intention.

Abstract

This study was to analyze the effect of workplace Islamic spirituality, normative commitment, andindividual characteristics, as well as the moderating role of individual characteristics on workplace Islamicspirituality to normative commitment. Sample of this study were all nurses of the RSI Darus Syifa Surabayatotaling 67 nurses to 66 nurses from the calculation questionnaire back to the processed. Methods of thestatistical analysis that used were SEM Partial Least Square (PLS) with smartPLS 2.0 software. The result ofthis research explained that workplace Islamic spirituality positive and significant effect on normativecommitment. Individual characteristics not moderate the effect of workplace Islamic spirituality to normativecommitment.

Abstract

PT. Hervitama Indonesia which is engaged in providing instrumentation goods and installation services has a work area for electrical installation, instrumentation, construction, interior and calibration works. Service provider in the field of electrical installation by PT. Hervitama Indonesia includes the strong and weak currents installation. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the influence of psychological climate on the desires of employees to leave the company through job satisfaction for employees of PT. Hervitama Indonesia. This research is a causality study with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses saturated samples with a total of 50 respondents to employees of PT. Hervitama Indonesia. The statistical analysis used in this study was PLS with the help of smartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study explain that the psychological climate has a negative and significant effect on the desire of employees to leave the company. Psychological climate has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction does not affect the desire of employees to leave the company. The research implications that can be applied to companies, namely the need for leaders to improve the quality and quantity in terms of support provided to employees or subordinates can be done by way of guidance to employees in doing good work. For example, holding back inter-unit counseling that discusses the constraints of work in the field related to work.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of distributive justice onperformance appraisal to work performance through performance appraisal satisfaction (study onPT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya). This type of research is a causality research studies, with thequantitative approach. This research was using simple random sampling. This research used asample of 137 respondents was drawn from employees of PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya inProduction Department. The result was based on path analysis method showed that there was asignificant direct effect distributive justice on performance appraisal to performance appraisalsatisfaction and performance appraisal satisfaction to work performance. But there was notsignificant direct effect distributive justice of performance appraisal on work performance.

Abstract

This purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of flexible work arrangement on employee performance with work life balance as intervening variable journalist PT. Memorandum Sejahtera. Population in this research is using 32 journalist of the company. In addition, the number of samples is all of population, 32 respondents. This type of research is quantitative research. Data analysis technique used is partial least square using software SmartPLS 3.0, 2018. The results of this study indicate that flextime has no a significant on employee performance; flexplace has a significant and positive impact on employee performance; flextime has significant and positive impact on work lief balance; flexplace has a significant and positive impact on work life balance; work life balance has no significant on employee performance; work life balance does not mediate flextime on employee performance; work life balance does not mediate flexplace on employee performance. Keywords : flextime, flexplace, work life balance, employee performance Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh flexible work arrangement terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan work life balance sebagai variabel intervening wartawan PT. Memorandum Sejahtera. Populasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 32 wartawan PT. Memorandum Sejahtera. Selain itu, jumlah sampel adalah semua populasi, 32 responden. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah partial least square dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.0, 2018. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa flextime tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan; flexplace memiliki dampak signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan; flextime memiliki dampak signifikan dan positif pada work life balance; flexplace memiliki dampak signifikan dan positif pada work life balance; work life balance tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan; work life balance tidak memediasi flextime pada kinerja karyawan; work life balance tidak memediasi flexplace pada kinerja karyawan.Kata Kunci : flextime, flexplace, work life balance, kinerja karyawan

Abstract

PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk merupakan salah satu perusahaan pelat merah milik Indonesia yang bergerak dalam perbankan komersial dan berbentuk perseroan terbatas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan dan menguji hubungan kepribadian proaktif terhadap kesuksesan karir dengan adaptabilitas karir sebagai variabel mediasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan karyawan PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Kantor Cabang Surabaya. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan judgment sampling dengan 41 responden karyawan organik. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur Proactive Personality Scale (PPS) dan Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) yang diterjemahkan dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) yang diolah dengan software SmartPLS 3.2.8. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: (1) kepribadian proaktif tidak berpengaruh terhadap kesuksesan karir; (2) kepribadian proaktif berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap adaptabilitas karir; (3) adaptabilitas memiliki efek positif dan signifikan terhadap kesuksesan karir; (4) selain itu, kepribadian proaktif memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara tidak langsung terhadap kesuksesan karir melalui adaptabilitas karir.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The orphanage's foundation has largely begun to grow the business. This is a form of development of financial independence. Orphanages no longer fully expect funding from donors. In line with the above, the ability to manage ethical business and selection of sharia investment alternatives need to be understood by foundation managers and residents of orphanages. Training implementation methods using lecture, discussion, test, and simulation techniques. Training is carried out in two stages. The first stage of learning business ethics and sharia investment. The second stage is the simulation of investment instrument transactions. The target to be achieved is the acquisition of knowledge of managers / administrators and residents of orphanages related to business ethics and sharia investment instruments. Education of Business Ethics and Sharia Investment for the Managers and residents of Yayasan Islamadina was held on October 15, 2017. The activity was attended by 41 people. The results of the evaluation show that the level of satisfaction of the training and the ability of the resource persons are included in the high category. The results of the activities increased participants' understanding of business ethics and sharia investment instruments between before and after the training. This is demonstrated by the Wilcoxon Test results which show there are differences in pretest value with the posttest value, the conclusion there is increasing participants' understan.ding of the business ethics and sharia investment instruments between before training with after training Keywords: Islamic Business Ethics, Sharia Investment, Investment Instrument

Abstract

This research aimed in explaining the influence of social capital on the career success with career sponsorship as the intervening variable. Using two stage sampling, the 232 questionnaires were distributed to the manager of state-owned companies (BUMN) at East Java and 108 of the questioner were returned. The result of the SEM appeared that the managers having better social capital would have better career sponsorship where they would has career support, challenge job, career protection, career coaching, technical mentoring and advice, office political coaching, and better spiritual coaching. This research discovered that trust dimension was the weakest dimension in forming social capital. In the variable of social capital, connection dimension was the strongest dimension in forming social capital variable. In the career sponsorship variable, the strongest indicator in forming career sponsorship career was technical mentoring and advice, while the weakest indicator in forming the career sponsorship variable was career protection.

Abstract

Abstract, PT Rosan Permai is a family company initiated and founded in 1972 on street Keboan Sikep Gedangan, Sidoarjo. Engaged in the field of transportation services, both ankle and trailer truck rental and in sugar cane plantations. PT Rosan Permai is the only company in Sidoarjo regency which is officially registered as a company engaged in the delivery of goods and suppliers of sugar cane at sugar factories in the East Java area. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the influence of psychological climate on employee performance through job satisfaction on employees of PT Rosan Permai Sidoarjo. This research is a causality study with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used a saturated sample with a total of 44 respondents to employees of PT Rosan Permai Sidoarjo. The statistical analysis used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of smartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study explain that the Psychological Climate has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Psychological Climate has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction. Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Job Satisfaction mediates the influence of Psychological Climate on Employee Performance, but the results found that the Psychological Climate has a direct influence that is greater than the indirect effect on Employee Performance.
