Abstract

PT Indonesia Power UPJP Kamojang menggunakan uap panas bumi sebagai bahan penggerak yang akan diproses menjadi tenaga listrik. Salah satu peralatan yang menentukan kinerja pembangkit adalah kondensor. Kinerja kondensor dapat dilihat dari efektivitasnya. Penentuan efektivitas dihitung dan dibandingkan dengan efektivitas kondensor dari data desain tahun 1987 yaitu sebesar 99,7% sebagai patokan efektivitas yang paling baik. Pada penilitian ini akan dicari efektivitas terbaru yaitu dengan mengambil data percobaan pada tanggal 1-7 Desember 2016 Terjadi penurunan efektivitas kondensor sekitar 27,62% dari data desain. Kata Kunci :kondensor, efektivitas, data desain.

Abstract

PT. INDONESIA POWER UPJP KAMOJANG merupakan perusahan yang mengacu pada jasa pembangkitan listrik, salah satu pembangkitanya pembangkit listrik tenaga panas bumi (PLTP), Dalam pembangkitan listrik panas memerlukan proses pendinginan, salah satu pendinginan adalah menara pendingin, proses pendinginan menara pendingin memerlukan udara dingin dari luar yang kemudian di sirkulasikan oleh fan untuk pendiginan air keluaran kondesor, cooling tower ikut dalam pendinginan di inter dan after kodensor, menara pendingin memiliki data sepesifikasi dan data aktual, data spesifikasi di dapat dari buku manual cooling tower sedangakan aktual dari data pengamatan ruang kendali efisiensi cooling tower di hitung dari perbandigan range pengurangan air suhu masuk dan keluar dan approach pengurangan suhu air wet bult dan suhu keluar, uap panas keluaran turbin bepengaruh pada temperature masuk menara pendingin.Kata kunci: cooling tower, efisiensi, PTLP, pendinginan

Abstract

Pump As Turbines (PATs) is a small-scale power plant that uses hydropower as its driving force. The working principle is given the flow of water from a certain height into the pump output to produce pressure at the tip of the impeller blade and will rotate the impeller blades. In this research will be an optimization of Pump As Turbines (PATs) by changing the angle of the impeller blade tip to get the optimum design of Pump As Turbines (PATs) using Ansys fluent software. In using angle tip impeller blade 600, 450, 350, 300, and 250, pressure tip impeller blade the lowest on angle tip impeller blade 600 using incoming pressure 7 psi (0.483 bar) with a pressure value tip impeller blade 0.123 bar and the biggest one is angle tip impeller blade 250 using incoming pressure 14 psi (0.965 bar) with a pressure value tip impeller blade 0.543 bar. Based on the results of the impeller blade tip pressure obtained the optimal design of Pump As Turbines (PATs) is angle tip impeller blade 250 because of the critical angle of Pump As Turbines (PATs) if you use an impeller design less than 250 then the impeller blades will run out so that it can affect the resulting rotation.

Abstract

One economical alternative to building a small-scale hydroelectric power plant is to use pumps as turbines, often referred to as PATs, which stands for Pump As Turbines. This research was conducted with an experimental method using a factorial experiment 22 After conducting research and data processing, Angle of Entry of Pump As Turbines and impeller tip angles Factors on turbines are equally influential to increase the speed of turning Pump As Turbines (PATs), but the variables the most influential in this study to increase the rotational speed of Pump As Turbines is the entry angle of PATs. Based on data processing to find the most influential variable using the Yates algorithm, if changing the PATs Entry Angle from 45° to 90° there will be an increase in Pump As Turbines rotational speed of 30.1 rpm while changing the impeller tip angles from 40° to 30° can only increase the Pump As Turbines rotational speed by 18.6 rpm. The alternator capacity that can be produced by Pump As Turbines is 100W, based on electrical power testing using a load of incandescent light bulbs. The electric power that can be generated by Pump As Turbines uses test samples at optimum conditions, namely the 90° Angle of Entry and the impeller tip angle 30° at the water pressure from the input pump 0.375 bar (g). The results of loading given using incandescent light bulbs with the power of 5 W, 10 W, 25 W, 40 W, and 100 W, there is the lowest voltage that is 194 V on a light bulb with 100 Watt power with alternator rotational speed of 855.7 rpm in the 3rd experiment.

Abstract

Folding chair is a chair that is lightweight , portable , and can be folded flat so that the number of seats can be assembled into a single stack while stored . Folding chairs are often used because its ldesign is simple and efficient . In that sense , it is very flexible and portable . When used you stay open , if not then you can simply fold it back . Store them is not difficult, you simply take advantage of the gaps that exist . The material is diverse , ranging from teak , plastic , aluminum pipe , and so on. Each has endurance and strength are different.The use of material on folding chairs are very influential on the strength of folding chairs. For wood materials received the greatest stress was 6689 kN/m2, 12.9 mm displacement and strain of 5,5x10-5. For aluminum material that received the greatest stress was 6713 kN/m2, 0,56 mm displacement and strain of 1,2x10-3.Keywords : folding chair , solidwork , material

Abstract

Hydraulic press tool is an apparatus used to suppress or install components with size specific pressure , so getting the expected results based on the specifications. Hydraulic press tool works by Pascal 's Law , how it works using a hydraulic system . A hydraulic press equipment consists of the basic components used in the hydraulic system that includes cylinders , pistons , hydraulic pipe , and others - others . Abstract

One of the things that lead to failure of an engine is the strength of the material and pengerjaanya . Material strength is a trait possessed by each material . One way that can be done to determine the material properties by performing the test known. Rapid Loading impact testing is the basis of the manufacture of test equipment, where the gravity force works on a pendulum that is dropped from a height and ending with testing specimens mashing. In this final report , will be developed how to make an impact test instrument that can be used to determine the type of fracture and the price impact of a specimen by using Charpy and Izod . Ie, starting with the selection of materials , measuring , cutting , machining , assembly and eventually test equipment can be used as a testing tool.Keywords: machining, production, impact test

Abstract

Currently, the national water demand is concentrated in Java and Bali, with the purpose of using it mainly for drinking water, household, urban, industrial, agricultural, and others. From the 2003 water balance data, it can be seen that the water demand in the dry season in Java and Bali, which amounted to 38.4 billion cubic meters, was only met by about 25.3 billion cubic meters or only about 66 percent. This deficit is expected to be even higher in 2020, where the population and economic activity will increase significantly. (Directorate of Irrigation and Irrigation Bappenas, 2006). Without exception, coastal areas are also in dire need of clean water. Because of its position with the sea, it is very possible for sea water intrusion to occur so that freshwater sources will be affected by sea water. Therefore, coastal areas are in dire need of fresh water. In this study, it will be studied how to make a simple Sea Water Distillation Dispenser that can be owned by each house. Abstract

Kelompok wanita di Desa Padahanten mempunyai sebuah kegiatan produksi yaitu membuat kerupuk ubi yang terbuat dari ubi ungu. Ubi ungu yang dihasilkan merupakan hasil tani dari warga sekitar yang memang berprofesi sebagai petani. Harga ubi ungu yang relative lebih rendah membuat kelompok ini berinovasi untuk meningkatkan nilai jual dari ubi ungu tersebut. Dalam pembuatan kerupuk ubi ungu, masih dilakukan dengan peralatan seadanya. Dimulai pengupasan ubi hingga penjemuran masih menggunakan peralatan seadanya. Hal demikian mengakibatkan proses produksi belum dapat maksimal. Proses paling lama dalam pembuatan kerupuk ubi ungu adalah pemotongan adonan. Hal tersebut karena masing menggunakan pisau dan tenaga manusia. Pelatihan penggunaan alat/mesin tepat guna perlu dilakukan kepada kelompok tersebut. Hal demikian untuk menunjang proses produksi yang dilakukan hingga dapat meningkatkan kapasitas produksi. Karena bagaimana pun juga, tenaga manual dalam hal ini menggunakan tangan akan berbeda tiap waktunya. Berbeda dalam kecepatan, ukuran dan ketepatan pemotongan. Hasil evaluasi yang telah dilakuakan, alat bantu potong adonan dapat digunakan dengan baik oleh para pembuat kerupuk ubi ungu. Alat tersebut cukup membantu proses pemotongan karena dapat mempercepat proses pemotongan dan bentuk/ketebalan lebih teratur
