Abstract

Counting is a part of mathematics, the goal is to develop numeracy skills that are needed in everyday life. The singing method is an activity that uses sound instruments that can add insight into things that are not yet known to the child and will get new words so that it can enrich the vocabulary and be more skilled at using it. The ability to count in early childhood in Nurul Amanah Kindergarten is still low. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of improving children's numeracy skills through the singing method. The study was conducted using the classroom action research method. The data of this study were collected through observation and documentation of collected data analyzed in description. From the results of this study we can conclude the results that the ability of early childhood counting of 16 children consisting of 9 men and 7 women in fact has increased, this is taken from the final results after the implementation of actions in cycle 2 which is clear from each - the number of children in the category began to grow by 5 people, which was in the category of developing very well 7 people and in the category of developing very well as many as 4 people.

Abstract

The AUD study at Al Hikmah Mujahidin Kindergarten and TK Kartika XIX-3 applied a descriptive and quantitative research approach using quasi-experimental techniques. The design carried out has the consideration that, if random grouping is carried out, it will disrupt learning and programs at school. The experimental design used is the non-equivalent control group design. The purpose of the research is to find out and examine the teacher's ability to build ethnomatematic literacy at TK AL Wisdom of Mujahideen and TK Kartika XIX-3. The benefits of research are to help develop the repertoire of theories, knowledge and practices regarding the ability of teachers to develop ethnomatematic literacy. This study produced several findings related to child etnomatematics literacy. Based on the results of the study it was found that the average ethnomatematic literacy before learning did not differ significantly from the experimental-control class. That is, that before learning is carried out, the initial ability difference between the two classes is obtained. Furthermore, after the action was carried out, posttest was carried out to see the final results after being given treatment in both classes. The posttest results on ethnomatematics literacy prove that there is a greater increase in the experimental class compared to the control class. The average posttest of the experimental class is 125.43 with the percentage of achievement that is equal to 91% while for the control group the average is 105.95 with the percentage of achievement that is equal to 82%. Summary of the scores on children's ethnomatematic literacy in the control and experimental classes. The results of the study prove that the actions in the experimental class were able to improve children's ethnomatic literacy better than the control class.

Abstract

The use of instructional media carried out in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is still lacking and carried out in a classical way. Every learning activity carried out in PAUD can use a variety of the media that are interesting for children, easy to play and cause pleasure when children play. Modified congklak media was chosen by researchers to develop early numeracy skills in early childhood in PAUD. The use of this game not only can develop cjildren's e2arly numeracy skills, but also    children can be able to interact socially. In this study, researchers used an experimental research method with a quantitative approach. The reserch sample of 28 children, 14 for tje experimental group and 14 for the control group. The results of the n-gain test in the pretest were 5.73 for the experimental group and 5.6 for the control group, while the results of the post-n-gain test showed a value of 13.8 for the experimental group. and 7.73 for the control group. It can be concluded that the modification of the Congklak media can develop early numeracy skills in PAUD.Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang dilakukan di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) masih kurang dan dilakukan dengan cara yang klasikal. Setiap kegiatan pembelajaran yang  dilakukan di PAUD dapat  menggunakan berbagai macam media yang menarik bagi anak, mudah dimainkan dan menimbulkan rasa senang ketika anak memainkannya. Media congklak modifikasi dipilih oleh peneliti guna  mengembangkan kemampuan berhitung permulaan anak usia dini di PAUD. Penggunaan media ini sangat mudah dilakukan oleh anak. Dalam permainan ini bukan hanya dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berhitung permulaan anak, namun juga anak dapat dapat berinteraksi sosial. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 28 anak, 14 untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 14 untuk kelompok kontrol. Hasil uji n-gain pada pretes yaitu 5,73 untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 5,6 untuk kelompok kontrol,  sedangkan hasil uji n-gain postest menunjukan nilai 13,8 untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 7,73 untuk kelompok kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media congklak modifikasi dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berhitung permulaan di Paud.

Abstract

The ability to think symbolically is the ability to formulate consepts learned by children for the provision of life in the future. The pictorial ice cream sticks media in learning activities can be used in developing childrens  symbolic thinking skills. This research aims to find out the simbolic thinking ability of children. This study aims to determine the development of symbolic thinking abilities through pictorial stick media. The media of ice cream stick was chosen to be the solution of the problems that exist in, because these ice cream sticks have not been widely used as a mediun for the development of symbolic thinking skills, besides ice cream sticks are also easily available and familiar to chldren, so it expected through stick media illustrated ice cream will fasilitate researchers in developing symbolic thinking skills in children. This study uses an experimental method where the sampel in this study amounted to 26 children. Data processing using SPSS 22.0. The average gain test results between the experimental group and the control group were 7,07 for the experimental group and 6,38 for the control group. Thus it shows that pictorial ice cream sticks are able to develop symbolic numeracy skills at SPS Permata Bunda. With the application of pictorial ice cream stick learning media can increase childrens learning interest, students can be directly involved in learning can be more meaningful and meaningful for children.Kemampuan berpikir simbolik merupakan kemampuan dalam merumuskan konsep-konsep yang dipelajari anak guna bekal dikehidupan yang akan datang. Media stik eskrim bergambar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dapat digunakan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir simbolik anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir simbolik anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan kemampuan berpikir simbolik melalui media stik bergambar. Media stik es krim bergambar dipilih untuk menjadi solusi dari permasalahan yang ada di SPS Permata Bunda, karena stik eskrim ini belum banyak digunakan sebagai media pengembangan kemampuan berpikir simbolik, selain itu stik eskrim juga mudah didapatkan dan tidak asing lagi bagi anak-anak, sehingga diharapkan melalui media stik es krim bergambar akan memudahkan peneliti dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir simbolik pada anak. Penelitian ini meggunakan metode eksperimen dimana sampel terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol, sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 26 orang anak. Pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS Versi 22.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini hasil uji postest dengan menggunakan SPSS 22.0. Hasil uji gain rata-rata antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol yaitu 7.07 untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 6.38 untuk kelompok kontrol. Dengan demikian menunjukkan bahwa stik es krim bergambar mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir simbolik di SPS Permata Bunda. Dengan penerapan media pembelajaran stik bergambar ini dapat meningkatkan minat belajar anak, peserta didikpun dapat terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, sehingga pembelajaran dapat lebih berarti dan bermakna bagi anak.

Abstract

Education in kindergarten is not allowed to teach calistung material separately to students, so it should be done in activities that develop all aspects of child development. Teachers are expected to be able to create more creative and innovative learning, through games that are adjusted to the indicators that must be met in terms of children's symbolic thinking. This study aims to determine the increase in numeracy ability of Group B in Al-Ghuroba Kindergarten after being given a relay race treatment. This research is a quantitative study using the Quasi Experiment method using control and experimental classes. The samples used were 20 Early Age Children from Group B in Al-Ghuroba Kindergarten, which had collected using saturated sampling techniques. Data collection uses observation and documentation techniques. Data from the test results were then analyzed use a descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that the use of relay sports significantly influenced children's numeracy skills. Seen from the results of the ability to count in the experimental group better than the control group, from the average value and the level of significance produced. In addition, the use of relay sports has a significant effect on the child's social-emotional development. Seen from the results of social-emotional development in the experimental group better than the control group, from the average value and the level of significance produced.Pendidikan di Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) tidak diperbolehkan pengajaran materi calistung secara terpisah kepada anak didik, maka hendaknya dilakukan dalam kegiatan yang mengembangkan seluruh aspek tumbuh kembang anak. Guru diharapkan dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif, melalui permainan-permainan yang disesuaikan dengan indikator yang harus dipenuhi dalam hal berpikir simbolik anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berhitung Kelompok B di TK Al-Ghuroba setelah diberikan treatment Olahraga Lari Estafet. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperimen yang menggunakan kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Sampel digunakan berjumlah 20 Anak Usia Dini dari Kelompok B, yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Data hasil tes kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan olahraga lari estafet berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan berhitung anak. Terlihat dari hasil kemampuan berhitung pada kelompok eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelompok kontrol, dari nilai rata-rata dan taraf signifikasi yang dihasilkan. Selain itu penggunaan olahraga lari estafet berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap perkembangan sosial-emosional anak. Terlihat dari hasil perkembangan sosial-emosional pada kelompok eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelompok kontrol, dari nilai rata-rata dan taraf signifikasi yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the role of teachers in developing the independence of children aged 5-6 years. The research method used is a literature study using secondary data. The data sources used are relevant sources from research that has been done previously in the form of theses, scientific papers, and books related to the title of this scientific work. In making the planning the teacher races on the candy and the curriculum that has been determined by the educational institution. The method used by the teacher in developing children’s independence is not only one method, but two or more suitable methods that are combined. The teacher also provides media that will be used during the implementation of learning activities as means of conveying learning messages to children so that they are easier for children to accept. The teacher also conducts evaluations during the learning process and at the end of learning activities. There are obstacles that teachers encounter in developing children's independence when they first enter school because they have to meet new people and have to interact with new environments.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam pengembangan kemandirian anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi literaturedengan menggunakan data sekunder. Sumber data yang digunakan berupa sumber-sumber yang relevan dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdahulu berupa hasil skripsi, karya ilmiah dan buku-buku yang berkaitan dengan judul karya ilmiah ini. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi kepustakaan serta analisis  data yang digunakan oleh peneliti berupa analisis anotasi bibliografi yang berupa kesimpulan dari berbagai sumber yang peneliti baca. Dalam pembuatan perencanaan pengembangan kemandirian guru berpacu pada permen dan kurikulum yang sudah di tentukan oleh lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan guru dalam pengembangan kemandirian anak tidak hanya satu metode, akan tetapi dua atau beberapa metode yang dapat disesuaikan dandikombinasikan. Guru juga menyediakan media yang akan digunakan pada saat pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran sebagai sarana penyampaian pesan pembelajaran kepada anak agar lebih mudah diterima oleh anak. Guru juga melakukan evaluasi pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung dan di akhir kegiatan pembelajaran. Adapun hambatan yang ditemui guru dalam pengembangan kemandirian anak ada pada saat anak baru pertama kali masuk sekolah, karena ia harus menemui orang-orang baru dan harus berinteraksi dengan lingkungan baru.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the ability of teachers to introduce ethnomatematics in early childhood in TK Kartika XIX-3 Cimahi City. This research is included in qualitative research. Early childhood research in TK Kartika XIX-3 Kota The research method used in this study is a qualitative method, by providing descriptive analysis of the focus of research that has been formulated, based on the facts of teacher learning actions in TK Kartika XIX-3 Cimahi. This research emphasizes the meaning of the act of teacher learning in introducing ethno-mathematics to early childhood. The purpose of this study was to determine how the teacher's ability to introduce ethnomatematics at TK Kartika XIX-3 in Cimahi City. While the benefits of research are to help develop the theory, knowledge and practice of the ability of teachers to build ethnomatematics literacy. This study produced several findings related to the application of the teacher's ability to introduce ethnomatics in early childhood. Based on the results of the study it was found that in general ethnomatics before learning are no different from learning that is normally given on a daily basis. Furthermore, after the action is carried out, an overview of ethnomatic literacy is obtained showing that there are findings related to ethnomatatics given to learning at TK Kartika XIX-3 in Cimahi City, including teachers having been able to present learning with ethnomatic literacy content, thus giving an impact on ethnomatic ability child. The results showed that the teacher was able to introduce and improve the ethnomatic literacy of children in the classes he was in.

Abstract

Intelligence is a gift from Allah SWT. to every human being. Every child born has their intelligence, this research is about developing kinesthetic intelligence in Paud Al-Izdihar. Because his kinesthetic intelligence is underdeveloped, for example in gymnastics, his movements do not increase so that the child becomes bored. The problems faced in early childhood education are that children do not like gymnastics or dancing, they are engrossed in toys or playing with their friends. So the researcher proposed research on the creation of the tokecang dance to develop kinesthetic intelligence using the classroom action research method carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The population of this research data is students. The research was conducted in group B with 6 children consisting of 3 boys and 3 girls. At the beginning of the study, children who had not developed (BB) were 66.67%, children who began to develop (MB) were 33.33%. After conducting the research, it was shown that: children who began to develop in their kinesthetic intelligence were: 16.67% MB (Starting to Develop), 50% BSH (Developing according to expectations), 16.67% BSB (Developing Very Well). Thus it can be concluded that developing this tokecang dance creation has made a good contribution to children such as: starting to move the body, hands, feet, and head in a coordinated manner to improve kinesthetic intelligence. Kecerdasan merupakan anugrah dari Allah Swt. kepada setiap manusia. Setiap anak lahir mempunyai kecerdasannya masing-masing, penelitian ini mengenai mengembangkan kecerdasan kinestetik di Paud Al-Izdihar. Sebab kecerdasan kinestetiknya kurang berkembang misalnya dalam kegiatan senam, gerakannya tidak bertambah sehingga anak menjadi jenuh. Permasalahan yang dihadapi di Paud tersebut yaitu anak kurang menyukai senam atau tarian, mereka asyik dengan mainan atau bermain dengan teman-temannya. Maka peneliti mengajukan penelitian kreasi tari tokecang untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan kinestetik menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dengan II siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Setelah data terkumpul di analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi data penelitian ini adalah siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada kelompok B jumlah anak 6 orang terdiri 3 laki-laki dan 3 perempuan. Pada awal penelitian anak yang Belum Berkembang (BB) 66,67 %,  anak yang Mulai Berkembang (MB)  33,33 %. Setelah melakukan penelitian menunjukan bahwa: anak yang mulai berkembang dalam kecerdasan kinestetiknya yaitu: 16,67% MB (Mulai Berkembang), 50% BSH (Berkembang Sesuai Harapan), 16,67% BSB (Berkembang Sangat Baik). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan mengembangkan kreasi tari tokecang ini telah memberikan kontribusi yang baik pada anak seperti: mulai menggerakan badan, tangan, kaki, dan kepala secara terkoordinasi untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan kinestetik.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the process of implementing early literacy at the age of 5-6 years through letter arisan games. The letter arisan game is a game that can stimulate children's language development, especially in terms of recognizing letters and reading early or early literacy. In this game, the early literacy process is introduced gradually from recognizing the letters a-z, spelling out consonants and vowels, and combining two letters into a sound. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique is done through participant observation and interviews. Data analysis used in this research is data reduction and data display. The results of this study indicate that letter arisan games can be applied to develop early literacy. The problem with this game is that it is a long and gradual process that requires patience and istiqomah in carrying it out. Several techniques must be used for this game to be lively and enjoyable. It is hoped that this research will be useful for parents and teachers in implementing fun early literacy for children.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas proses implementasi literasi dini pada usia 5-6 tahun melalui permainan arisan huruf. Permainan arisan huruf merupakan permainan yang dapat merangsang perkembangan bahasa anak terutama dalam hal mengenal huruf dan membaca permulaan atau literasi dini. Dalam permainan ini, proses literasi dini dikenalkan secara bertahap dari mengenal huruf a-z, mengeja huruf konsonan dan vokal serta menggabungkan dua huruf menjadi sebuah bunyi. Metode penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipan dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data dan display data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa permainan arisan huruf bisa diterapkan guna mengembangkan literasi dini. Kendala dari permainan ini adalah prosesnya yang panjang dan bertahap sehingga membutuhkan kesabaran dan istiqomahdalam melaksanakannya. Beberapa teknik harus dilakukan agar permainan ini menjadi hidup dan menyenangkan. Diharapkan penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi para orangtua dan para guru dalam menerapkan literasi dini yang menyenangkan bagi anak.
