Abstract

Abstrak: Agrowisata adalah salah satu alternatif potensial untuk dikembangkan di desa. Agrowisata dapat dikelompokkan ke dalam ekowisata karena agrowisata adalah bentuk kegiatan perjalanan wisata yang tidak merusak atau mencemari alam dengan tujuan untuk mengagumi dan menikmati keindahan alam, hewan atau tumbuhan liar di lingkungan alaminya serta sebagai sarana pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) potensi yang dimiliki dan upaya pengembangan agrowisata di Kampung Domba Terpadu, Juhut serta (2) mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam pengembangan agrowisata di Kampung Domba Terpadu, Juhut. Metode yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif, ekksploratif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara serta pengumpulan data sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Kampung Domba Terpadu, memiliki potensi untuk menjadi salah satu kawasan agrowisata dan upaya yang dilakukan untuk mendukung potensi antara lain dengan (a) melakukan pendekatan advocary dalam mengembangkan kesepakatan dengan pihak luar, (b) melakukan kesepakatan tentang pembagian penerimaan antara biro perjalanan dengan pihak pengelola agrowisata dan (c) mengembangkan prasarana seperti jalan, tempat berteduh, lokasi untuk menikmati pemandangan alam, toilet, dan peta/sketsa kawasan wisata dan (2) terdapat kendala berdasarkan aspek konsep atau pola pikir, aspek sosial dan aspek artefak atau kebendaan dalam mengembangkan Kampung Domba Terpadu, Juhut.Kata kunci: agrowisata, model pengembangan agrowisata, agrowisata berbasis masyarakatAbstract: Agrotourism is one ofthe potential alternatives to be developed in the village. Agrotourism can be classified into ecotourism activities as ecotourism is a form oftravel that does not damage or contaminate nature with the purpose to admire and enjoy the beauty ofnature, animals or wild plants in their natural environment as well as educational facilities. The purpose ofthis study (1) to identify the potential and development eforts in the Kampung Domba Terpadu, Juhut and (2) identify the obstacles encountered in the development of agrotourism in Kampung Domba Terpadu, Juhut. The method used in this research is descriptive and data collection methods are observation and interviews and secondary data collection. The results ofthis study are (1) Kampung Domba Terpadu, Juhut has the potential to become one of the agrotourism area and the eforts made to potential support include (a) approach advocary in developing agreements with outside parties, (b) an agreement on the division of revenue between the travel agency with the manager agrotourism and (c) develop infrastructure such as roads, shelter, location to enjoy the natural scenery, toilets, and map /sketch tourist area, and (2) there are constraints based on the aspect ofa concept or paradigm, social aspect and aspect ofartifacts or material in the development ofagrotourism in Kampung Domba Terpadu, Juhut.Keywords: agrotourism, agrotourism development model, community-based agrotourism

Abstract

Pilihan wisata dari wisatawan nusantara yang berkunjung ke Kota Semarang adalah daya tarik wisata budaya yaitu Lawang Sewu. Padahal Kota Semarang memiliki potensi wisata lain contohnya adalah wisata kuliner. Potensi kuliner di Kota Semarang dapat dikembangkan menjadi daya tarik wisata, namun belum dikelola secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh sosial demografi, (2) budaya, dan (3) motivasi wisatawan nusantara terhadap makanan lokal di Kota Semarang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah convenience sampling. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah wisatawan nusantara yang berkunjung ke Kota Semarang. Jumlah responden adalah sebanyak 197 orang. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sosial demografi, budaya, dan motivasi wisatawan nusantara terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap makanan lokal di Kota Semarang. Implikasi manajerial dari penelitian ini bagi Pemerintah Kota Semarang adalah untuk dapat lebih mengembangkan informasi secara menarik dan lengkap mengenai kuliner Kota Semarang dengan memanfaatkan teknologi terkini, mempromosikan makanan lokal Kota Semarang melalui penyelenggaraan festival kuliner secara berkala dan bekerja sama dengan biro perjalanan wisata untuk membuat paket wisata tentang kuliner, khususnya makanan lokal Kota Semarang.   Kata kunci: sosial demografi, budaya, motivasi, makanan lokal

Abstract

Transformational leadership has been widely implemented. Transformational leadership can be used to achieve organizational commitments. The purpose of this article is to review the correlation between transformational leadership and organizational commitment, as well as the impact of other variables that strengthen the correlation. This article analyses the research related to the correlation between transformational leadership and organizational commitment, as well as the mediators and moderators that strengthen this correlation. The method consists of systematically reviewing transformational leadership and organizational engagement through journal reviews. This systematic review shows that transformational leadership significantly predicts organizational participation. Transformational leadership influences organizational commitment through intermediary variables, that is, job characteristics and job autonomy. Other results indicate that emotional intelligence is a moderating variable that can strengthen the correlation between transformational leadership and organizational commitment.

Abstract

Nowadays travelers using mobile technology to make their journey easier. Previous study has shown that 40% of smartphone users searching for travel information through mobile devices. Using travel mobile applications is a process when a tourist deals with search, selection, purchase, use, and evaluation of products or services to fulfil the needs to facilities their travel. The emergence of travel mobile applications is efficient to improve the tourist experience at the destination. The paper aims to examine and explain the variable perceived usefulness, ease of use, tourist behavior and influence between these variables. The study used a convenience sample. Data collected through a structured questionnaire by the online and direct survey. There were 152 respondents. The analytical method used is a linear regression. The findings of this study prove that tourists using travel mobile applications to facilitate their travel. There are positive influences of perceived usefulness, and ease of use on tourist behavior. Tourists tend to use travel mobile applications to facilities their travel so they can easily get travel information and access services wherever they need it. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/jpp.v3i1.2022

Abstract

Tourism development in Biak Numfor Regency is inseparable from the role of stakeholders. Tourism management has been developed in Biak Numfor Regency, but has not shown results. This is influenced by the not yet optimal management of tourism destinations. This study aims to identify tourism stakeholders in the Biak Numfor Regency, find out the role of tourism stakeholders in Biak Numfor Regency, and examine the needs of tourism stakeholders in Biak Numfor Regency. The primary data collection technique is done through interviews and observations. Interviews were conducted with tourism stakeholders in Biak Numfor Regency. Respondents who are stakeholders are selected by purposive sampling and snowball sampling methods. Data obtained were analyzed using stakeholder analysis and needs analysis. The results showed that there were 16 tourism stakeholders in Biak Numfor Regency and most of them served as subjects, namely stakeholders who had high interests but low influence. Needs needed by tourism stakeholders in Biak Numfor Regency, i.e. (1) understanding of tourism destination governance; (2) coordination between tourism stakeholders; (3) the synergy of tourism development programs in Biak Numfor Regency; and (4) ongoing assistance.

Abstract

Abstract – Untung Jawa Island is located in the Thousand Islands is an area that requires the jetty for the local community and tourists to reach the islands. The visit of tourists to the coastal areas and islands will increase the value of the social, economic, and cultural communities. One jetty on the Untung Jawa Island in damaged condition. Development planning is needed to support economic activity in Untung Jawa Island. Jetty improvement should be observe to all aspects so as to support the appeal of the tourist attractions in the region. The purpose of the study is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the principles and rules in planning the jetty. This study uses a descriptive study to help researchers in assessing various aspects in the development of the jetty. The results of this research is produce some guidance for stakeholders on planning and coordinating the construction of the jetty in Untung Jawa Island.Keywords: accessibility, jetty, Untung Jawa Island  Abstrak - Pulau Untung Jawa yang berada di Kepulauan Seribu merupakan kawasan perairan yang memerlukan keberadaan dermaga baik bagi masyarakat maupun wisatawan untuk menjangkau pulau-pulau. Kunjungan wisatawan ke wilayah pesisir dan pulau-pulau akan meningkatkan nilai sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya masyarakat. Salah satu dermaga yang berada di Pulau Untung Jawa dalam kondisi rusak. Perencanaan pembangunan sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung kegiatan perekonomian di Pulau Untung Jawa. Perbaikan dermaga hendaknya dapat memperhatikan segala aspek sehingga mampu mendukung daya tarik wisata yang ditawarkan di kawasan tersebut. Tujuan dari penyusunan kajian pengembangan dermaga di Pulau Untung Jawa adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman secara komprehensif mengenai prinsip dan kaidah dalam perencanaan dermaga. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi deskriptif untuk membantu peneliti dalam mengkaji berbagai aspek dalam pengembangan dermaga. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya panduan bagi para pemangku kepentingan dalam merencanakan dan berkoordinasi dalam pembangunan dermaga di Pulau Untung Jawa.Kata kunci : aksesibilitas, dermaga, pulau untung jawa

Abstract

Abstract - Nowadays, culinary tourism becomes one of the attractions to visit destination, this phenomenon can also be seen in Tangerang City. The great potential in Tangerang City is not supported with adequate information about the culinary riches of Tangerang. Many factor that cause lack of information for tourists, one of which is the lack of guidebooks and culinary references of Tangerang City. Therefore this study aims to identify the potential of culinary tourism as well as analyze the problems faced in developing a typical cuisine in the city of Tangerang. This study is qualitative research, used primary and secondary data. Method analysis used is SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). The results shows that culinary tourism in Tangerang City needed to be well-organized regarding there are threats and weaknesses in culinary tourism development. Potensi yang besar di Kota Tangerang belum didukung dengan informasi yang memadai mengenai kekayaan kuliner Tangerang. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan kurangnya informasi bagi para wisatawan, salah satunya adalah belum tersedianya referensi tentang kuliner Kota Tangerang. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi wisata kuliner serta menganalisis masalah-masalah yang dihadapi dalam mengembangkan kuliner khas di Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, serta menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan wisata kuliner di Kota Tangerang masih sangat diperlukan mengingat terdapat beberapa ancaman dan kekurangan yang dimiliki dalam pengembangan wisata kuliner di Kota Tangerang. Abstract

Abstract: As a tourist destination, Berau Regency has experienced a significant increase in tourist visits in recent years. Tourism development in Berau Regency still faces several obstacles, including the low quality of tourism destination management, not yet optimal management of regional culture and promotion of tourism destinations that have not been optimal. The tourism industry is closely associated with hospitality which is a major advantage of other industries. There is a need to explore the perceptions of tourism stakeholders about the hospitality concept. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of understanding of hospitality concepts in tourism stakeholders in Berau Regency. Determination of respondents was done through purposive sampling and snowball sampling methods. Respondents were chosen with the consideration concerned having experience and knowledge in accordance with the focus of the study. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive narrative results of interviews with speakers and results of observations. The results of the study show that tourism stakeholders understand the service more than hospitality concept. Most of tourism stakeholders cannot accurately describe hospitality or distinguish it from service. Only a few of tourism stakeholders can define and describe the hospitality concept, but this still refers to service management terms and concepts. Most tourism stakeholders struggle to express their understanding and perception of hospitality. Practices consistently in carrying out the concept of hospitality can influence the behavior of tourism stakeholders. Keywords: hospitality, tourism stakeholders, Berau Abstrak: Sebagai destinasi wisata, Kabupaten Berau mengalami kenaikan kunjungan wisatawan yang cukup mengesankan pada beberapa tahun terakhir. Pengembangan pariwisata di Kabupaten Berau masih menemui beberapa kendala, antara lain masih rendahnya kualitas pengelolaan destinasi wisata, belum optimalnya pengelolaan budaya daerah dan promosi destinasi pariwisata yang belum optimal. Industri pariwisata lekat dengan keramahtamahan atau hospitality yang merupakan keunggulan utama dari industri lainnya. Sehingga terdapat kebutuhan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi pelaku pariwisata tentang konsep hospitality. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat pemahaman konsep hospitality pada pelaku pariwisata di Kabupaten Berau. Penentuan responden dilakukan melalui metode purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Responden dipilih dengan pertimbangan yang bersangkutan memiliki pengalaman dan pengetahuan sesuai dengan fokus penelitian. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan cara deskriptif naratif hasil wawancara dengan narasumber dan hasil observasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaku pariwisata lebih memahami konsep layanan daripada hospitality. Mayoritas pelaku pariwisata tidak dapat secara akurat menggambarkan hospitality atau membedakannya dari layanan. Hanya sedikit dari pelaku pariwisata yang mampu mendefinisikan dan menggambarkan konsep hospitality, namun ini pun masih mengacu pada istilah dan konsep manajemen layanan. Sebagian besar pelaku pariwisata berjuang untuk mengungkapkan pemahaman dan persepsi tentang hospitality. Abstract

The number of tourists in Serang and Pandeglang Regency has not reached a high growth rate. To increase the number of tourist visits in the two regencies, the development of creative tourism is needed as a tourist attraction. The purpose of this study is to identify the potential for creative tourism and analyze the supporting factors of the development of creative tourism in Serang and Pandeglang Regencies. This research is a qualitative study using interview and observation methods. The analytical method used is the 4 As tourism component, attractions, amenities, accessibility, and ancillary services. The results of the study indicate that there is a potential for creative tourism in Serang Regency, namely Kampung Seni Yudha Asri, J2 Pottery, Sentra Pengrajin Tas dan Dompet Desa Kadugenep, Durian Jatohan Haji Arif, Sentra Pengrajin Golok Desa Seuat Jaya, Anyer Krakatau Culture Festival (AKCF) dan Bendolan Pamarayan. Creative tours in Pandeglang Regency are Agrowisata Gandamanis, Kampung Domba Juhut Pandeglang, Desa Wisata Banyubiru, Pasar Kaulinan Menes, Kampung Batik Cikadu Tanjung Lesung dan Sentra Pengrajin Kayu Desa Kertajaya. The supporting factors for the development of creative tourism are planning, human resources, conditions of tourism destinations, supporting infrastructure, and institutions. The implication of this research is as considerations for the Regional Government in the development of socialization, training and mentoring programs to increase understanding and self-development for the community regarding creative tourism.

Abstract

Edutourim is a program that combines elements of tourist activities with education. Edutourim is expected to be a means to preserve the culture values and??introduce the history and culture of Indonesia. This is because the phenomena in the younger generation who are no longer interested in studying history. Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Pelita Harapan, Universitas Pelita Harapan develop educational travel programs that cater for students of junior high schools to develop interest in learning history. Students of SMP Negeri 2 Kelapa Dua, Tangerang selected to attend this edutourism program by visiting Monumen Nasional and Museum Sejarah Jakarta. This program was conducted on Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 with total participants were 20 students and two teachers. Edutourism program led by lecturer and guided by students of Travel Industry Management. The students and the team from Travel Industry Management were very enthusiastic during the edutourism. Benefits derived by the students through these program are (1) to increase the understanding about historical sites in Jakarta; (2) to increase the knowledeg about historical sites in Jakarta; and (3) to develop the partnership between the SMP Negeri 2 Kelapa Dua, Tangerang and Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Pelita Harapan, Universitas Pelita Harapan. The edutourism program is well accepted and effective to increase student’s interest in learning history. Key words: edutourism, student’s interest in learning history, historical site
