Abstract

This research was conducted on February 24th up to March 24th 2016 at Balai Perikanan Budidaya Laut Batam. This research aims to understand the effect of adding probiotic and investigate the best dose of probotic for growth of fish silver pompano (Trachinotus blochii, Lacepede). The research method was experimental method and Complete Random Device (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The treatments in this research was P0= no Probiotic (control); P1= 1.0 g probotic/kg of feed ; P2= 2.0 g Probiotic/Kg of feed and P3= 3.0 g probiotic/kg of feed. To understand the development of the fish, body weight and total length was measured every 10 days. The result shown that the best dose of probiotic was P3 with 3.0 g probiotic/kg of feed which provides absolute growth body weigths (1.01g), growth total length (2.57 cms) and survival rate was (100%). But the best efficiency of feed was in P1 (1g probiotic/kg of feed) namely (95.52%).Key Words : Probiotic, Silver pompano, Growth, Survival

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis terbaik probiotik untuk meningkatkan laju pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan ikan nila merah(Oreochromissp).Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 42 hari pada tanggal 17Maret sampai dengan 25April 2019 yang bertempat di Laboratorium Teknologi Budidaya Perairan Fakultas Perikanan Dan Kelautan Universitas Riau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen sedangkan rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial dengan satu faktor.Perlakuan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah: P0= Probiotik 0 %/kg pakan, P1= Probiotik 1 %/kg pakan, P2 = Probiotik 2 %/kg pakan, P3 = Probiotik 3 %/kg pakan.Untuk memperkecilkekeliruan masing-masing taraf perlakuan dilakukan ulangan sebanyak 3 kali.Ikan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan berat awal rata-rata 1-2 g. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa penambahan probiotik pada pakan dengan dosis yang berbeda berpengaruh terhadappertumbuhan dan kelulushidupanikan nila merah  (Oreochromis sp). Selain itu, juga berpengaruh terhadap laju pertumbuhan spesifik danefisiensi pakan.Jumlah yang optimal terdapat pada perlakuan P1 (probiotik 1%/kg pakan) menghasilkan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 10,00 gram, pertumbuhan panjang rata-rata 4,34cm, laju pertumbuhan spesifik 4,68%, kelulushidupan sebesar 76% dan efisiensi pakan 33,03%. Kata kunci: Probiotik, ikan nila merah, pakan, pertumbuhan

Abstract

This research was conducted from March to April with 2013, and held at the Fisheries Agency and Serdang Bedagai Regency in the North Sumatra town of Pari. The purpose and benefits of this research is to investigate the kind of feed which was able to speed growth and accelerate the growth of crab. The method is applicable in the experimental methods are using design random complete ( ral ) one factor by 4 standard treatment. Treatment applied in this research is the feed, Rucah Fish+ pellets, Pellet+ Snails Mas, Rucah Fish, Snails Mas. The best results of the best of this research namely by feed on fish rucah with the average growth absolute weights absolute 56,67 grams, the average daily growth rate of 5,37% and average egg growth rara of 488,89%.Keywords: Mangrove Crabs (Scylla serrata), type of feed, growth egg

Abstract

This study was conducted in March-May 2014 held at the Village Canang Dry, EnvironmentalXX, Village Sicanang, District of Medan Belawan, Medan, North Sumatra Province. The aim of thestudy was to determine the effect of feeding frequency on the growth and survival of mud crab (Scyllaserrata)The method used is the experiment with 3 treatments and 3 replications of feeding 2 times aday (P1); feeding 3 times a day (P2); feeding 4 times a day (P3). Data were analyzed using ANOVA(P <0.05). Test materials were used as much as 36 crabs were maintained with the battery systeminside a plastic basket with size of 45.5 x 33 x 17 cm3. Plastic basket is divided into 4 sections byplacing bamboo as a divider so that the basket contains 4 crabs. The results showed that feedingtrash fish produces growth weight 108 g, daily growth rate 1,55 %, the growth in length 1,91cm and a higher 1,42 cm, survival rate 100%.Keyword : mud crab, feeding frequency, and growth

Abstract

The aims of the research was to know the growth performance and survival rate of Catfish (Pangasius hypopthalmus) in recirculation system with different water discharge. The method used was the experimental method with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were P0 = control (without water discharge), P1 = 0,22 litres/second, P2 = 0,33 litres/ second, P3 = 0,36 litres/ second, P4 = 0,50 litres / second. The particular size of the Siamese Catfish were used around 5-6 cm were reared for 45 days in the tarpaulin cube tank (50 x 50 x 50) cm³ with 30 fishes/tank of fish stocking density. The fish were fed by adsatiation three times a day. The result shows that the best treatment is in the P4 which water discharge 0,50 liter/second which contributed to the 3,81% of specific growth rate; 4,5 gram of absolute weight growth; 3,29 cm of absolute length growth and 90,54 of food efficiency. Meanwhile, the highest survival rate was given by the treatments in P0 and P1 which was 100%. The best water quality parameter was shown in P4 (water discharge 0,50 liter/second) where ammonia (NH3) was 0,015-0,059 mg/l, temperature was 27,2-28,9º C, pH was 6,1-6,4, dissolved oxygen (DO) was 5,68-6,13 mg/l, nitrit was 0,06-0,23 mg/l, and nitrat was 0,86-093mg/l.Keyword: Pangasius hypopthalmus, Water discharge, Growth Performance, Survival Rate

Abstract

The research was conducted from April 10 until june 10, 2015. The purpose of this study was to determine the different stocking densities for growth and survival rate of nilem (Osteochilus hasselti). The experiment was designed using Completely Random Design with three treatments and three replications. The treatment were applied, namely P1 of 5 tail/m3, P2 of 10 tail/m3, P3 of 15 tail/m3. The best results showed that stocking density of 10 tail/m3. Total absolute body weight, absolute body length, daily growth rate and survival rate was 4,68 grams, 3,07cm, 1,25 %/day and 93,33 % respectively. Water quality parameters were recorded namely temperature is 26–290 C, pH 6-7 and dissolved oxygen (DO) from 6,2 to 6,7 ppm/l.Keyword : Growth, Survival, Nilem (Osteochilus hasselti), Stocking Density

Abstract

ABSTRAK            This study aims to obtain the best dose of grotop booster for the growth and survival of freshwater pomfret (Colossoma macropomum) in a recirculation system. This research was conducted in November-December 2020 at the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Riau University. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatment levels and 3 replications. P0 (Without giving grotop booster), P1 (Grotop booster dose 25 g/kg feed), P2 (Grotop booster dose 30 g/kg feed), P3 (Grotop booster dose 35 g/kg feed), P4 (Grotop booster dose 40 g/kg feed). Freshwater pomfret fish (Colossoma macropomum) used measuring 5-7 cm as many as 150 fish with a stocking density of 10 fish/cm3 and kept in an aquarium measuring (60 x 40 x 40) cm3. The results showed that giving grotop booster with different doses had a significant effect (P<0.05) on protease enzyme activity, absolute weight growth, absolute length growth, specific growth rate, survival rate, and feed conversion. The results showed that the best grotop booster was given at a dose of 40 g/kg feed, which resulted in protease enzyme activity (0.1718 IU/mL), absolute weight growth (5.85 g), absolute length growth (3.65 cm). , specific growth rate (4.08%), feed efficiency (80.34%), feed conversion (1.24), and survival rate (100%). Key words : Freshwater Pomfret, Grotop booster, Growth

Abstract

ABSTRACT    Feed is one of the major operating in cultivation of mud crab (S. serrata).One aspect for attention in cultivation were feeds. This research aims to determine the optimal effect of the feed percentage on the growth of mud crab aquaculture(S. serrata).This research was conducted using Experimental Methods with completely randomized design (CRD), those is 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment A (3% feeds of the weight biomass), B (5% feeds of weight biomass), C (7% feeds of weight biomass feed, D (9% feeds of weight biomass).Animal testing used was mud crab (S. serrata) with an average initial weight of ±100 gr / individual.Animal testing used were 48 crabs and maintained in a plastic basket measuring (59 x 37 x 17 )cm3during 40 day. The results shows different feed percentages had a significant effect (P <0.05) on absolute weight growth, feed conversion, livelihood, moulting, but not significantly influence (P> 0.05) on SR mangrove crabs. The results shows that the best treatment for absolute weight growth was found in 7% feeding of biomass weight (P3), which was 80.00 g, specific growth rate of 1.53%, average moulting time of 18.66 days with survival rate 83 , 33%, and the best feed conversion is 4.10.Keywords :Mud crab; Food; Growth; Moulting; Life-long rate

Abstract

The research was conducted from 23 March to 22 April 2015 that held atthe Great Hall Brackishwater Aquaculture Development Jepara, Central JavaProvince. The aim of this research to determine the different salinity for growthand survival rate of nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). The method used is theexperimental method with completely randomized design (CRD) of the factorwith 4 levels a treatment. The treatment was applied, namely P1 of salinity 10 ppt,P2 of salinity 12 ppt, P3 of salinity 14 ppt and P4 of salinity 16 ppt with 3 timesrepetition.The results showed different salinity 10, 12, 14 and 16 ppt did not give asignificant effect (P>0,05) on the total absolute body weight, absolute bodylength, daily growth rate and survival rate of nile tilapia. The best treatmentcontained in P3 (14 ppt) with absolute body weight 2,46 g, absolute body length3,35 cm and the specific growth rate of 6,30 %. The best treatment of survival rateon 12 (78,67 %) and 16 (78,67 %).Keywords: Western white prawns, Salinity , Growth, Survival Rat

Abstract

ABSTRACT            Research was carried out on the 13 April to 22 May 2018 in the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Department of Aquaculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine University of Riau. The purpose of this study to determine the amount of molase for the growth of catfish (Clarias gariepinus) the biofloc. The research method which is using method of random (RAL) by a factor which consists of four stages of treatment used the C 10 (Molase 21 g), C 15 (Molase 35 g), C 20 (molase 48 g) and C 25 (molase 62 g). For the next 40 days the maintenance of the best in the provision of molase 62 g in the growth of seeds is absolute of 6,38 g, the length of the absolute 6,62 cm, the growth rate of specific 4,56%, efficient feed of 95,43%, survival rate  to 51,11% and volume floc 8,57 ml/l. And the quality of water for research which is the temperature 26-29,20C, pH 7,1-7,4, dissolved oxygen 3,63-6,63 ppm and ammonia 0,003-0,033. Keyword :Clarias gariepinus, Biofloc, Molase
