Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, yang bertujuanmeningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belaja mahasiswa, dan dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Subjekpenelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan kimia semester tiga tahun akademis2007/2008, yang berjumlah 23 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan dari hasil penelitian ini adalahdata aktifitas belajar mahasiswa, aktifitas mengajar dosen, lembar tugas mahasiswa (LTM),dan ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisadeskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil berturut-turut untuk siklus I, II, danIII sebagai berikut : Aktifitas belajar mahasiswa 43, 48%, 43, 78%, dan 44,94%, aktifitasdosen 67,05%, 67,43%, dan 69,70%, rata-rata nilai LTM 46,55%, 71,65%, dan 78,84%,sedangkan ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa yang didapat adalah 52,17 %, 73,91 %, dan 78, 26%. Dari gambaran hasil yang diperoleh terlihat bahwa peningkatan yang cukup berarti adalahpada hasil LTM dan Ketuntasan belajar. Peningkatan hasil LTM diiringi dengan peningkatanketuntasan belajar, sedangkan aktifitas belajar mahasiswa terjadi peningkatan, tetapi sangatkecil.

Abstract

Purpose of this study was to know student’s perception about preparation and implementation of lectures Mathematics and Science Teacher Education Featured at Chemistry Department of Education Faculty Riau University. The research carried out on students of Chemistry Department, the population was all students who follow the Mathematics and Science Teacher Education Featured program, and have followed courses presented for the program. The whole population was used as a sample (total sample), amounting to 60 students, consisting of a student of 2011/2012, 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 classes (18, 20 and 22 students). Data have been collected using a questionnaire, and then analyzed descriptively, begins with a questionnaire scoring in stages, specify the interval value to obtain a value category, and specify the percentage. The results showed that 81, 66% of students had a good understanding of the program that followed, 16.67% adequate, and 1.67% less understood. 86.67% of students felt that the program was beneficial, 8:33% felt pretty, and 5% of students felt less useful. In terms of feasibility program, 73.34% of students stated good, 15% said enough, and 11.66% said less well, while from the commitment and ability of lecturers 53.35% of the students stated well, 35% fairly categories, and 11, 67% said less.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a student worksheet based on problem based learning on reduction and oxidation reaction subject in the Chemistry Education Study Program. The result of this research and development is student worksheet product which can be used by students in the process of learning. The method used in this research consists of 4 development stages namely define, design, develop, and disseminate or adapted into 4-P Method, which is pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. The development model is modified by the researchers only until the development stage. Recapitulation of the average score of the assessment of the four aspects of student worksheet by the validator team, content, language, presentation, and successive graphics have 89.16%, 91.67%, 90%, and 89.56%. Thus, the overall average score of student worksheet validation the oxidation-based reduction reaction based on Problem Based Learning is 89.59%. Based on the eligibility criteria of learning tools in Riduwan (2012), the criteria of 89.59% analysis included in valid category.Keywords : Student worksheet, Problem Based Learning, Reduction and Oxidation Reaction.

Abstract

Abstract: The research about application of cooperative learning model Round Robin technique has been done to know the improvement of student’s achievement on chemical bonds subject in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. This research was experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X2 class as experiment class and X1 class as control class that randomly selected after testing homogeneity. The experiment class was a class that treated by applying cooperative learning model Round Robin technique, while the control class was not. Analysis of data used t-test. Based on analysis data by using t-test formula obtained tcount>ttable (2,89 > 1,67). It means that the application of cooperative learning model Round Robin technique can improve student’s achievement on chemical bonds subject in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru with the coefficient of influence is 10,39%.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Round Robin, Student Achievement, Chemical Bonds

Abstract

Abstract: Research aims to improve student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI Science Senior High School 4 Kundur. This type of research is experimental research study design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Research conducted at Senior High School 4 Kundur. Samples of the research were students of class XI Science 1 as an experimental class and class XI Science 2 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied approach to science, environment, technology and society (SETS) whereas the untreated control class. Data analysis technique used was t test. Based on test data analysis obtained tcount>ttable is 2,33>1,67, meaning that the use of science approach, environment, technology and society (SETS) can increase student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI Science Senior High School 4 Kundur by category increase achievement (N-Gain) high at 0.71. Abstract

Abstract: The research has been done to apply the cooperative learning type Round Table to improve student learning outcome on hydrocarbon subject in class X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. The research is a kind of experimental research with pretest-postest design. The samples of this research were the students of class X1 as the experimental class and students of class X3 as the control class is determined randomly after the normality test and homogenity test. Experimental class is a class that is applied model of cooverative learning type Round Table, while the control class wasnot treated by cooperative learning type Round Table. Data analysis technique used is the –t test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic ˃ ttable is 3,16˃ 2,00, means that type of cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcome on the subject hydrocarbon in class X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Apit. The category of improvement student achievement in experiment class was high category with a gain score normalized is 0,77.Key Words : Cooperative Learning type Round Table, Learning Outcome, Hydrocarbon.

Abstract

Abstract : The purposes of research were to know the improvement of student learning result and categories of learning result by implementing learning model Creative Problem Solving (CPS) on the subject colloid subject at the class XI IPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. This research is experimental research using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The population in the research consist of 3 class, that is XI IPA 1, XI IPA 2, and XI IPA 3. The sample that used consisted of two class, that is class X IPA 2 as experiment class and class XI IPA 1 as control class that has tested by normality and homogeneity test. Experiment class is the class that implemented CPS learning model while the untraeted control class. Data analysis techniques used is the t-test. Results of the analysis it was found that tscore > ttable (3,84 > 1,67), it means that the implementation of learning model CPS can improve students result on the subject of colloid in class XI IPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. ABSTRACT Research on the application of active learning strategy type Learning Start With A Question (LSQ)) has been done to improve student’s achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. Form of the research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X.5 class as experiment class and X.7 class as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given by implementing active learning strategy type LSQ and the control class was given by conventional method. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (5,78 > 1,67). It means that using active learning strategy type LSQ can improve student’s achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was high category (N-Gain =0,71) and in control class was medium category (N-Gain =0,51). Abstract

Abstract: Research on the use of snakes and ladders game as chemo-edutainment media has been done to achieved mastery of students on the subject periodic system of element in class X SMA Negeri 2 Tanah Putih. Form of the research is pre-experiment research with one-shot study case design. Retrieval of data started from August 27 to September 24, 2014. Sample of research is class X MIA 2. Data analysis technique used to calculate presentage of competency mastery of knowledge, competency mastery of attitude and competency mastery of skills. Based on the final results obtainable competency mastery of knowledge is 87,87%, competency mastery of attitude is 100% and competency mastery of skills is 100%, it’s means that the application of using snakes and ladders games as chemo-edutainment media can achieve mastery of students on the subject of periodic system of element in class X SMA Negeri 2 Tanah Putih. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was develop module based on problem solving in colloid of chemistry in senior high school subject in terms of valid based on the content properness, serve, language, and graphic. The type of this research was research and development (R&D) with development process of 4-D model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was to develop phase. The object of this research was the module based on problem solving. The data analysis technique used for this research done by calculated the percentage of validation value. Instrument of data collection was validation sheet given by three validators. The average score of valuation to four expediency aspect by validator’s team such us content properness, serve, language, and graphic has expediency value continued 92,78%, 93,75%, 98,33%, and 97,50%. Thus, the average score tatality of module based on problem solving in colloid subject is 95,59% which is in valid criteria. Based on results of data analysis can be concluded that module based on problem solving has been valid and can be used in colloid of chemistry in senior high school subject.Key Words: Module, Problem Solving, and Colloid.
