Abstract

Abstract: Implementation of Reciprocal Teaching model to improve student activity and learning mastery of solubility and solubility product in class XI MIA 6 SMAN 1 Pekanbaru has been conducted. The student activities that corrected were embrace, ask question, done the exercises and group discussion. The improvement of students learning activities implies an increase in mastery learning students. The subject of this research were 27 students that involved conducted in two cycles of learning. Each cycle consisted of two meetings through four stages, they are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data of this research was collected by using observation sheet and test. The result showed that student activity was increased and achieved the standard criteria. The student activity at the first cycle was 49,64% and at the second cycle was 63,76% with good criteria. It was found out that there was improvement in students Learning Mastery and the standard criteria was achieved. The first and the second cycle average percentage of learning mastery were 70,37% and 85,18% respectively. Based on the result, was concluded that application of Reciprocal Teaching model can improve student activity and learning mastery.Keyword : Reciprocal Teaching, Student Activities, Learning Mastery Student

Abstract

Abstract: The research about application of cooperative learning model Round Robin technique has been done to know the improvement of student’s achievement on chemical bonds subject in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. This research was experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X2 class as experiment class and X1 class as control class that randomly selected after testing homogeneity. The experiment class was a class that treated by applying cooperative learning model Round Robin technique, while the control class was not. Analysis of data used t-test. Based on analysis data by using t-test formula obtained tcount>ttable (2,89 > 1,67). It means that the application of cooperative learning model Round Robin technique can improve student’s achievement on chemical bonds subject in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru with the coefficient of influence is 10,39%.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Round Robin, Student Achievement, Chemical Bonds

Abstract

ABSTRACT Research on the application of active learning strategy type Learning Start With A Question (LSQ)) has been done to improve student’s achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. Form of the research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X.5 class as experiment class and X.7 class as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given by implementing active learning strategy type LSQ and the control class was given by conventional method. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (5,78 > 1,67). It means that using active learning strategy type LSQ can improve student’s achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was high category (N-Gain =0,71) and in control class was medium category (N-Gain =0,51). Abstract

Abstrak: The aim of this research were to know misconceptions and the category level of misconceptions in the second year students of SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru aboutt concepts of chemical equallibrium. This research took place in SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru and the data were collected on April 2017. was all the students of XI MIA class of four classes. The population consisted of 161 students. The sample was all the population. This research was descriptive quantitative. The technique of collecting data used diagnostic test and interview. The result showed that students found misconception in the definition concept of chemical equallibrium with the percentage was 34,78% (category of average), for the concept of heterogen and homogen was 36,335% (average), the concept of dissociation degree was 33,54% (average), the concept of Kc measurement was 43,785% (average), the concept of Kp measurement was 27,55% (poor), the principle concept of Le Chatelier was 36,764% (average), the concept of using chemical equallibrium in world industry was 23,60% (poor).Key Word : Chemical Equallibrium Misconception, Diagnostic Test,Three-Tier Multiple Choices

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the topic of atomic structure and periodic system of element in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 9 Pekanbaru. The research were implemented in SMAN 9 Pekanbaru started at the end of July until September 2015. Population of this research is class X5 until class X8. The research is using randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The Analysis technique used normality Liliefors to see same variance samples. After doing normality and Homogeneity test. The samples of this research were the students of class X8 as the experimental class and students of class X7 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied to media eXe Learning while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data dk (32 +35)-2 =65 and α= 0,05 obtained ttable 1,67 and tcount 2,54. tcount > ttable is 2,54 >1.67, means that the application of media eXe Learning can improve student learning achievement on the topic of structure and periodic system of element in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 9 Pekanbaru with effect (KP) 9,03%Keywords : Achievement of Learning, eXe Learning, Atomic Structure and Periodic System of Element

Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research is to improve the students learning achievement on the subject colloids with implementation Planted Questions active strategies. Kind of research was an experiment research with randomized control pretest-posttest group design. Retrieval of data starting from May - June 2015 in SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. Samples of research are class XI science 3 as the experiment class (applied Planted Questions active strategies) and class XI science 4 as the control class (with ordinary learning) were randomly selected after normality test and homogeneity test. Data collection method used is the testing techniques. The analysis techniques consist of 3 techniques that are normality test was used Liliefors test to verify data is normally distributed, homogeneity test was used variance test and t-test to see same ability learning of samples, and hypothesis test was used t-test to validate the hypothesis. Based on the hypothesis test obtained tcount> ttable is 2,561 > 1,668. The meaning that the implementation of Planted Questions active strategies can improve students achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI science SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. The improvement of students learning achievement in the experiment class was supported by the influence coefficient value of 8,57%.Keywords: Colloid, Active Strategies, Learning Achievement, Planted Questions.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the topic of hidrocarbon in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 9 Pekanbaru. LKS comic dressed student is able to stimulate the brain while reading it, because it displays images that are not boring for students. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class X5 as the experimental class and students of class X6 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied to comic worksheet while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 2.75>1.66, means that worksheet use of comics can improve student learning achievement on the topic of hidrocarbon in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 9 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,73. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,62.Keywords : Learning Achievement, LKS Comic, and Hidrocarbon

Abstract

Purpose of this study was to know student’s perception about preparation and implementation of lectures Mathematics and Science Teacher Education Featured at Chemistry Department of Education Faculty Riau University. The research carried out on students of Chemistry Department, the population was all students who follow the Mathematics and Science Teacher Education Featured program, and have followed courses presented for the program. The whole population was used as a sample (total sample), amounting to 60 students, consisting of a student of 2011/2012, 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 classes (18, 20 and 22 students). Data have been collected using a questionnaire, and then analyzed descriptively, begins with a questionnaire scoring in stages, specify the interval value to obtain a value category, and specify the percentage. The results showed that 81, 66% of students had a good understanding of the program that followed, 16.67% adequate, and 1.67% less understood. 86.67% of students felt that the program was beneficial, 8:33% felt pretty, and 5% of students felt less useful. In terms of feasibility program, 73.34% of students stated good, 15% said enough, and 11.66% said less well, while from the commitment and ability of lecturers 53.35% of the students stated well, 35% fairly categories, and 11, 67% said less.

Abstract

Abstract: The research about the learning cell type of cooperative learning model has been conducted in SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to improve the student achievement on the topic solubility and constant solubility product (Kelarutan dan Hasil Kali Kelarutan Ksp) in class XI SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with experiment design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Sample of the research consisted of two classes, a class XI MIA2 as an experimental class (implemented the learning cell type of cooperative learning model) and class XI MIA1 as the control class (without the learning cell type of cooperative learning model). T-test was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained t > t table i.e 3.63 > 1.66, meaning that the application of the learning cell type of cooperative learning model can improve the student achievement on the subject solubility and constant solubility product (Ksp) in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : The purposes of research were to know the improvement of student learning result and categories of learning result by implementing learning model Creative Problem Solving (CPS) on the subject colloid subject at the class XI IPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. This research is experimental research using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The population in the research consist of 3 class, that is XI IPA 1, XI IPA 2, and XI IPA 3. The sample that used consisted of two class, that is class X IPA 2 as experiment class and class XI IPA 1 as control class that has tested by normality and homogeneity test. Experiment class is the class that implemented CPS learning model while the untraeted control class. Data analysis techniques used is the t-test. Results of the analysis it was found that tscore > ttable (3,84 > 1,67), it means that the implementation of learning model CPS can improve students result on the subject of colloid in class XI IPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.
