Abstract

Quality ofIndonesianHigher Educationis low, the evidence of which:UnemploymentgraduatesbyAugust 2011is737,030people (BPS RI, 2011); rankingIndonesian highereducationglobally is below, where according to the THE-QS World University Ranking, University ofIndonesia (rankedhighestinIndonesia)in 2011was ranked217of the 600best universitiesin the world;rankedUniversity of Gadjah Mada is 321; InstitutTeknologi Bandungrank401 (Ditjen DiktiKemendiknas, 2011).The lowquality mainly due togovernment'slack of commitmentto education, andleadership andmanagementof higher education thathave not beenbasedon the valuesofacademicquality.Consequence is a lowerquality ofinputs(curriculum, faculty, funding, andinfrastructure). Then theresultto thelow quality oftheeducation, research, community service,andprocess managementand governance.The finalresultis the lowquality ofoutputs and outcomes.Toimprove thequality, the governmentshould increaseits commitment to: the establishmentandimplementation of policies/regulationsand the provision ofeducationandthe allocation of funds. Inaddition,the selection ofthe leaderof thetop-level(Rector/Director) to lower levels(Chairman ofProdi/Labor) must be based onvalues-based academicquality.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the efficiency of vocational schools in the city ofPekanbaru and find alternative ways of improving it. The study was conducted in 30 publicand private vocational schools are taken by clusterpurposive sampling. Data collected bydocumentation, questionnaires, and interviews technique from education authorities,schools, alumni, and DUDI. Data were analyzed by descriptive, correlation, ratios, andcomparison. The results showed that the SMK in the city of Pekanbaru is still not efficientbased on sources /uses of funds, the ratio of the unit cost to: the UN, the waiting period, andthe the first salary/income of graduates.Key words: School efficiency, vocational school.

Abstract

This study aims to increase learning motivation and outputstudent of Economic Education FKIP Riau University through contextual teaching learning. This study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) in the Evaluation of Teaching Learning Economics course of the school year 2011/2012, which was as much as two cycles. Number of students in this class there are 41 people consisting of four men and 37 women. The results showed that the activity of lecturers on the course with contextual teaching learning model becomes more comprehensive, that there are only four activity to be 10 activity. In cycle 1 activity lecturer achieve enough good category, while in cycle 2 increased to good category.. Student motivation to learn before the implementation of the action is low, while in cycle 1 had increased into enough categories and in cycle 2 increase in the high category leads to very high. Knowledge and skills learning output of students before the implementation of the action only in the category is quite low, in cycle 1 had increased, although still quite enough, and in cycle 2 increased to good category leads very well. Increasing from prior cycle  to cycle 1 and from cycle 1 to cycle 2, indicating a significant improvement on the significance level of 0.000. Abstract

Abstract: The background of the problems in this study was the low student learning achievement with an average value of 63.27. This study was aims to improve student learning achievement in social studies class VIII in SMPS Exemplary Sekeladi Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir through the application of learning models Example Non Examples. This research was a classroom action research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and one-time delivery of content meeting the daily tests. February-March 2016, with the number of 21 students consisting of 9 men and 12 women. Classroom action research in order to succeed, the researchers set the stage that action planning, action, observation and reflection. The instrument of collecting data activity observation sheet data that teachers and students as well as achievement test. Based on the results, it can be concluded that; 1) improvement of student achievement than before action to the first cycle average of 10.47% and from the first cycle to the second cycle also increased by 8.26%, 2) completeness of increased student learning in the first cycle of 21 students, who achieve mastery amounted to 15 students with persentse 71.43% and students who did not complete six people with a percentage of 28.57%. While on the second cycle students are said to be completed 20 people or 95.24% of 21 students and students who did not complete one person or 4.76%, 3) Activities of teachers increased from 57.1% to the category enough in the first cycle of meeting first be 85.7% with good category at the confluence second cycle I. in the second cycle increased to 100% in both categories, and 4) the activity of students also increased from 36% in the first cycle to 52.4% the first meeting by category less at the second meeting of the cycle I. While the second cycle of the first meeting reached 72.8% with enough categories increased at a second meeting to be85%.Key Words: Examples Non Examples Learning Model, Students Learnig Achievement, Social Subject

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to find out the lack of students’ study effects for the eleventh grade students of SMAN 11 Pekanbaru. The population in this research was the eleventh grade students that was totaled 52 students. And the sample in this research was overall of eleventh students of SMAN 11 Pekanbaru. The collecting data used was questionnaire and documentation. The analysis data used was double linier of regression. The result of this research showed that the motivation factor, the teacher pedagogic competency partially influenced significantly for the difficulties of students’ study of the eleventh grade students at SMAN 11 Pekanbaru, and the professional teacher competency was not influenced significantly for the study of students’ difficulties. Based on regression of the coefficient, the motivation effect was -0,973, the teacher pedagogic competency was -0,668 and the professional teacher competency overall was -0,873. The motivation, the pedagogic competency and the professional teacher competency was overall influenced for the difficulties of students’ study, and it was for economic subject class of the eleventh grade students in SMAN 11 Pekanbaru by determining to 47%.Keywords: The difficulties of study, the teacher pedagogic competency, and the professional teacher competency

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine whether there is influence of the participation of the members of net income of members of the Agricultural Cooperative Balam Jaya District of Bunut Pelalawan. This research was conducted at the Agricultural Cooperative Balam Jaya District of Bunut Pelalawan. When the study was conducted from December 2014 - January 2015. The population in this study were all Members of the Cooperative Agricultural Balam Jaya District of Bunut Pelalawan amounted amounted to 57 people. In this study, researchers took samples of all of the population because the population is less than 100 by using a systematic random sampling technique (systematic random sampling technique). Data processing using SPSS 17.0. Of the t-test is known t (6.157)> t table (2,004) and Sig. (0,000) <0.05. This means that the participation of members of a significant effect on SHU.Nilai R Square of 0.408. What this means is that the contribution of variables influence the participation of members of the SHU at 59.2%. While the remaining 40.8% is influenced by other variables yan not included in this study. The simple regression equation is Y = 117,130.119 + 008 X. Abstract

The research aims to investigate the influence of learning facilities to thelearning outcomes of students at class X and XI IPS on economic subjects in SMANegeri 3 Pekanbaru. Based on a survey that has been done by the writer at theschool, there are skill students in class XI IPS who have not reached the KKM.While students in the class X most still many who have not reached the KKM oneconomic subject which can be based on semester exam brade in 2012/2013. Theresearch has been done to X dan XI IPS students in SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. Thenumber of entire class or population of X dan XI IPS class are 448 students and thesample in this research is 82 students. The data collection techniqe is using simplerandom sampling. Data collected by using questionnaire that contain the questionsabout the students facilities at school or at home/ students individual property that isthen distributed to students as the respondents in this research, and this data is calledprimer data. As for the secondary data in the form of the value of the secondsemester of academic year 2012/2013 on economic subjects. In this study the datawere analyzed using simple linear regression. Test used in the analysis requirementsof normality and linearity test data. Hypothesis testing is done by using T test and itcan be seen that the calculated value of T (11.130)> T table value (1.664), the errorrate of 5%. Analysis of the calculation results in a simple regression equationobtained a constant value of 21 421 and a regression coefficient or b values obtainedfor 17 352. And the coefficient of determination (R ^ 2) obtained by the R value of0.780 and the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.608.\Key Word:Learning facilities, Students’s Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: Education is the way to lift social status in society and asset to reach better life and better future. In addition, education is also expected to hone skill and ability to face and solve the problems quick and accurate. With school, people can achieve the necessity of education. In school, people who success in learning will get appreciation from community. Not only the School, Family have important role to get success in learning. Family is the first place people learning, where parents be the very first teacher. This study aimed to determine whether there are significant socio-economic status of parents to student learning outcomes social sciences SMP 13 Pekanbaru. This research is located on the road Ronggowarsito I No. 15 SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru. The data obtained from the school SMP 13 Pekanbaru form of learning outcomes (value of report books second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year) in IPS study. The technique used is systematic sampling technique so that the sample amounted to 75 peoples. The analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of socio-economic status of parents on learning outcomes. From the results of the analysis, there is a significant influence between social economic status parents to learning outcomes. The results of this study can be taken into consideration for schools and parents to pay more attention to the development of students' learning conditions, because schools and parents have a very important role in improving student learning outcomes.Key Words: socio-economic status of parents and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the effect of the interest in entrepreneurship learning outcomes of students of class XI TKJ SMK 1 Pekanbaru . This research was conducted in SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru from December 2015 through January 2016. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method . A population of 64 students and a sample of 64 students. Data collection instruments used were questionnaires were processed using a Likert scale for dependent variables : interest in entrepreneurship ( Y ) ; documentation used for the independent variables : the learning outcomes ( X ) . The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression statistical techniques . From the results , it can be concluded that : ( 1 ) the learning outcomes affect the interest in entrepreneurship ; ( 2 ) the influence of the learning outcomes of the interest in entrepreneurship is 28,8 .Keywords : Influence , the result of learning , interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Abstack: The Student Student Cooperative is a cooperative whose members are students and are found in almost all public and private universities. In Riau University student cooperative experiencing adverse conditions, the presence of the University Students' Cooperative is less felt by the Riau Riau University Students. This study aims to see clearly the state of Riau University Student Cooperative is based on the activities undertaken by the organization of cooperatives, namely the Meeting of Members, managers and supervisors. This study used a qualitative approach. The data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation with the subject of management, supervisors, part of Student Affairs, and members of the University Students' Cooperative Riau as many as six people. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis with data collection measures, reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of the research are: 1) The meeting of members is still less than the maximum, for example, of the factors implementation, namely the lack of participants Meeting the members present, a total of 20 active members and a factor for membership, the ineffectiveness of membership status 2) the implementation the obligations of the board KOPMA UR there are some implementation of the obligations which is still not up, namely the inability the board is not in managing the organization and the cooperative efforts, 3) implementation of the regulatory obligations also could not be done optimally because of a lack resources supervisor, so that the supervisor can not perform their duties in a professional manner.Keywords: Existence, the Student Cooperative
