Abstract

Several MSMEs in Indonesia have used a lot of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in running their business to be able to maintain their business and be able to become market leaders. However, in this ERP system, there are several limitations for MSMEs, especially in the ability of human and financial resources. This study is divided into two parts, in the first part universal success indicators from the ERP success measurement literature will be tested using factor analysis. Data will be collected on 27 indicators of success through a structured questionnaire from end users of the ERP system. The results that will later be obtained are whether ERP is suitable to be implemented to meet the achievement of goals in managing a business run by MSMEs.

Abstract

Studies on quality management at the moment is still very relevant to be discussed and followed up with research along with the development activities of the manufacturing industry, especially in Indonesia as one of the countries in South East Asia which is the purpose of industrial activity in the future, since this area is referred to as a cheaper production house of which 70% from industrial activities will be focused in the Southeast Asia region. One of the biggest obstacles experienced by the organization in implementing total quality culture is an obstacle. Every organization in doing the job as achieving total quality commitment will involve employees in  all aspects of planning and implementation, to ensure the provision of skills training of employees, and the achievement of organizational goals. The population in this study were all manufacturing companies in the city of Semarang which generally have a competitive advantage through a commitment to quality management peningatan. The approach used is descriptive analytical to determine the influence of environmental management on environmental performance and the performance of the company. To examine the influence of the independent variables, the dependent variable, and the culture of quality used regression test interaction. The analysis showed that the quality management influence either directly or moderated by a culture of quality in SMEs in Semarang with numbers sig <0.05. While partially can be analyzed most dimensions of quality management and quality culture failed to affect operational performance.  Keywords: operational performance, quality management, quality culture, SMEs, sustainability

Abstract

This study proposed to examine the influence of location and product diversity on spent decisionto consumer’s loyality. The study was taken place at Carrefour, one of hypermarket in Semarang.This is an explanatory research. The number of sample of the research is 105 consumersthe method reseacrh with accidental sampling method. Questionnaire was used to obtain thedata. Stuctural Equation Modelling (SEM) was applied to prove and examine the hypotheses.Result of the study showed that location positively affect the Research begun since spent decision.Product diversity also positively affect (Purchasing decision and finally, purchase decisionpositively affect consumer’s loyality.Keywords : Location, product diversity, purchasing decision, loyality

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan jiwa kewirausahaan bagai masyarakat di Rowosari Kabupaten Kendal melalui perbaikan tampilan produk. Penampilan produk sangatlah penting, karena konsumen akan semakin tertarik dan berminat untuk membeli. Selain itu kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal, khususnya buah pisang dan nangka sebagai bahan membuat ceriping. Fokus utama pada pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui kegiatan produktif. Kegiatan ini diawali melalui pertemuan masyarakat sasaran untuk menentukan jenis kegiatan, peserta, dan waktu pelaksanaan. Pada inti acara, tim pengabdian masyarakat FE-Unissula memberikan berbagai penyuluhan, khususnya  bidang  entrepreneurship, produksi, pembukuan, dan pemasaran produk. Selanjutnya, peserta diberikan ketrampilan praktek membuat ceriping pisang dan ceriping nangk, yang kemudian difokuskan pada kegiatan pembungkusan (packaging). Packaging merupakan tahapan penting dalam sistem pemasaran produk. Tim FE juga memberikan bantuan berupa alat pembungkusan dan plastik untuk packaging. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan daya tarik pada produk yang dipasarkan melalui penempilan produk yang lebih baik dan menarik. The purpose of this community service is to improve the entrepreneurial spirit of the people in Rowosari, Kendal Regency through improving product appearance. Product appearance is very important, because consumers will be increasingly interested and interested in buying. In addition, this activity is carried out by utilizing local resources, especially bananas and jackfruit as ingredients for making ceriping. The main focus is on community empowerment through productive activities. This activity begins with a target community meeting to determine the type of activity, participants, and timing of implementation. At the core of the event, the FE-Unissula community service team provided various counseling, especially in the fields of entrepreneurship, production, bookkeeping, and product marketing. Furthermore, participants were given practical skills to make banana chips and jackfruit chips, which were then focused on packaging activities. Packaging is an important stage in the product marketing system. The FE team also provided assistance in the form of wrapping tools and plastic for packaging. This activity is expected to provide attractiveness to the products marketed through better and more attractive product display.

Abstract

Competitive rivalry in business world demand the company for thinking how the way company take adapt with kaleidoscopic environment. The company must think that employees must feel enjoy with the job and their work environment so they get the best performance. Because of human resources is the most valuable asset so the company must be responsible to keep quality of work life. It’s not only quality of work life but also commitment of organization and job satisfaction need to be noticed for raising employees’ performance. In unit of production of Suara Merdeka Semarang, quality of work life, commitment of organization and job satisfaction need to be noticed. The objectives of the research is to describe and analyze the influence ofquality of work life towards job performance, to describe and analyze the influence of quality of work life towards employees commitment of organization, to describe and analyze the influence of commitment of organization towards employees’ performance, to describe and analyze the influence of job satisfaction towards employees’ performance. This research is explanatory research. The population of this research is the entire of unit of production of Suara Merdeka employees, the number of total sampling is 69 people using definite criteria such as the minimum work period is 5 years and the age of the employees is 25 years old. The kind of data is primary with using data collection method is questionnaires. Analysis instrument that areused in this research is Partial Least Square (PLS). The result of this research is quality of the work life has positive effect and significance towards employees’ performance. It means that if quality of work life is increased, employees’ performance is increased too. Quality of work life has positive effect and significance towards commitment of organization. It means that if quality of work life is increased, commitment of organization is increased too. Quality of work life has positive effect and significance towards job satisfaction. It means that if quality of work life isincreased, job satisfaction is increased too. Commitment of organization has positive effect and significance towards employees’ performance. It means that if commitment of organization is increased, employees’ performance is increased too. Job satisfaction has positive effect and significance towards employees’ performance. Abstract

In the era of globalization, the development of the fashion world with a variety of models and designs is increasing very rapidly. This condition has triggered a cycle of changing the style of dress that is dynamic, especially in the watch fashion industry. In addition to referring to the time the watch can also give a distinctive impression to the wearer. The sampling method is carried out using non probability sampling techniques by means of purposive sampling. By wearing a watch we can look more elegant. With a fairly large number of competitors, triggering the clock shop to focus on product quality and price competition, but the competition is not enough because there are still many aspects that can be used by the clock store to win the competition and become a market leader. Innovative strategies are needed to survive and win the competition, including strategies to improve service quality and rearrange Servicescape in this regard with regard to customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of the study is to compare SMEs in Indonesia and Malaysia regarding the implementation of information technology, especially on the sustainable competitive advantage factors, IT adoption, perceived simplicity, green technology capability, and performance. Design/Methods/Approach: Survey data are collected from 269 SME leaders and managers SMEs in Indonesia and 241 respondents in Malaysia. The sampling model is purposive sampling while analysis involved a non-parametric test (Mann-Whitney U-test).  Findings:  The results show that there are significant differences for the variables SCA, SMEs performance expectation, and IT adoption. There are no significant differences between Indonesian and Malaysian SMEs for the variables of perceived simplicity and green technology capability. Originality: The paper contributes to the growing research on information technology implementation by using factors within Sustainable Competitive Advantage, IT adoption, perceived simplicity, green technology capability, and performance. Practical/Policy implication: This finding can encourage SMEs in Indonesia and Malaysia to work together to develop important variables to improve the implementation of information technology to increase competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of talent management and servant leadership on HR performance through organizational commitment. The population in this study were all employees of PSDA-ESDM Semarang. The sampling technique using purposive random sampling is a sampling technique that uses certain criteria or considerations. Samples taken were 84 respondents, with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. The results showed that talent management had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, Servant leadership had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Talent management has a positive and significant effect on HR performance. Servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on HR performance. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on HR performance. Organizational commitment is not able to mediate the influence of talent management and servant leadership on HR performance.

Abstract

Technology that is growing rapidly at this time supports the use of technology in the field of tourism development and competitiveness. The purpose of this literature research is to determine the role of Artificial Intelligence in the development of local tourism destinations. In addition, through this research, positive and negative impacts of the use of Artificial Intelligence in the development and competitiveness of sustainable tourism were obtained. The positive impact is the ease of reaching tourism locations, the ease of knowing about the tourism to be visited, making it easier for visitors to find out prices and facilities in tourism destinations, increasing the economy of residents in the local area and increasing national income. In addition, the use of Artificial Intelligence in the development and competitiveness of sustainable tourism also has a negative impact, namely, there are several jobs that are replaced by artificial intelligence. This can be detrimental to some parties but should be given a solution by providing training on.
