Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi kemasan kaleng sebagai produk utama. Selain memproduksi kaleng kemasan, PT. XYZ juga memproduksi tolling/ spare part mesin untuk digunakan pada lini produksinya. Spare part merupakan bagian komponen mesin produksi yang diproduksi pada workshop departemen melalui beberapa proses permesinan seperti lathe, fraise, dan wire cut, grinding baik melalui mesin manual maupun CNC. Untuk menghasilkan kualitas spare part dan tolling yang presisi (0,001 mm) maka digunakan mesin CNC. Namun dalam pengggunaannya, mesin CNC ini sering mengalami breakdown sehingga mesin tersebut tidak dapat beroperasi. Setelah dilakukan pengamatan, mesin yang sering mengalami breakdown adalah pada mesin HASS-TM3. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung efektifitas mesin CNC HASS-TM3 menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). OEE merupakan suatu metode yang digunakan untuk mengukur efektivitas suatu mesin atau peralatan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer berisi hasil wawancara dengan operator HASS TM-3 dan teknisi listrik tentang penyebab breakdown mesin tersebut, sedangkan data sekunder berisi tentang data jam kerja, perawaatan mesin, delay mesin, data produksi mesin. Hasil perhitungan OEE bulan Desember 2015 – November 2016 menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas mesin HASS-TM3 masih rendah yaitu berkisar antara 55,12%-74,08%. Penyebab utama rendahnya nilai OEE mesin HASS-TM3 adalah keterlambatan maintenance mesin, sehingga tidak beroperasi lama yang menyebabkan rendahnya nilai availability.  Kata kunci: perbaikan kinerja mesin, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), CNC

Abstract

Forecasting is a method for estimating a value in the future by using past data. This research was conducted at the Home Industry Arwana Food. In this study, theauthor discusses the forecasting analysis of sales of banana chips products for packaging types. Forecasting is done using three methods, namely the Moving Averagemethod, the Exponential Smoothing with Trend method and the Trend analysis method by comparing the smallest error rate, the chosen forecasting method is the TrendAnalysis method, with the MAD value of 161.3539, MSE of 55744 , 16, and a standard error of 242,947. From the analysis of data processing that has been carried out basedon the chosen forecasting method, sales forecasting for banana chips products of packaged type is 1121,424 or 1122 packs / month, meaning that Home Industry -Surakarta Banana Chips must provide as many as banana chips. 1122 packs for each month.

Abstract

Management information systems if designed and implemented well, there will be many benefits that can be obtained by the company's management, which facilitatesmanagement and helps and supports the management decision-making process. The importance of the role of management information systems in efforts to achieve goals, so it is clear that the use of management information systems must be linked to modernization efforts, while the modernization process can only occur if the benefitsare drawn from the progress made in the fields of science and technology. Technology has developed so rapidly, so that product equipment products have become a staple in each of the inseparable jobs. in other words the development of technology is an important indication in improving products in various types of work. Workers can reachwork equipment according to the position of work time and according to the size of the anthropometry. Anthropometry and its application in designing work facilitiesAnthropometry will be widely used as ergonomic considerations in requiring human interaction. correct guidance and instruction, as well as training on the introduction ofequipment and workplaces on a regular basis, so as to make a habit of positive work ingrained (habit), the most important problem is the occurrence of fatigue, which canoccur that ergonomic problems can resulting in accelerating the occurrence of fatigue in the workplace.

Abstract

The development of transportation facilities has become increasingly rapid and complex so that it becomes a problem as time goes on. In order to make effective,efficient and productive human mobility capital transportation facilities in a steady balance between comfort and human mobility that is effective, efficient and productive,in its use there tends to be deviations from users of transportation capital. From year to year, accident data is increasing so that the Government is responsible for ensuringtraffic safety and road transportation. Where the purpose of this study is to identify the main causes of traffic accidents and provide advice to drivers to prevent / reduce trafficaccidents. The government has provided various regulations regarding traffic that must be obeyed. The regulation is one of them is how to drive well and safely (driving in prime body condition), the impact caused by physical fatigue / physical factors (body that is not prime) is so great with the traffic accident data above. So it is very important to manage the body to stay fit while driving. If studied in terms of productivity and efficiency, it also has a significant impact if people work / act in physical / physical fatigue conditions.

Abstract

In the increasingly global and increasingly fierce competition in the industrial world today, every company is required to be able to utilize resources as efficiently as possible to achieve the objectives as effectively as possible. In relation to efficiency and effectiveness, the company must be able to increase productivity. Similarly, PT. XYZ who wants to increase the productivity of his company by analyzing optimal product combinations. This study aims to find out: (1) the model of forecasting each type of optimal product combination in the Company of PT. XYZ in order to predict the number of salesin the future; (2) the right and efficient combination of products that must be produced on the Company using Linear Programming. (3) the extent to which PT. XYZ can accept increases and decreases in orders. This research method is finding problems, formulating problems, carrying out secondary data retrieval from the Company andliterature studies, analyzing, solving problems and drawing conclusions. Analysis of the optimal product combination that has been done to increase the optimal product contribution that has been made can increase the contribution of theinitial margin of Rp. 674,903,112 and in the final repairs to Rp. 757,286,404, - or an increase of Rp. 82,383,292, -. While the optimal product product combination obtainedfrom 2010 was 440714.2 units, and gray cloth RYP 2026 was 470404.8 units. Besides that productivity also experienced an increase in the existing system list of 1.16 and inthe optimal product combination to be 1, 179. Then productivity rose by 0.019 or by 1.9% with the presence of product combinations.

Abstract

Labor scheduling is the allocation of human resources to work stations in accordance with needs, to increase productivity of the company must schedule labor optimally, PT XYZ is a packaging company located in Tangerang-Banten.The company has implemented workforce scheduling with 3 work shifts and 1 day off in 1 week.Human resources are very important to note, therefore, to increase company productivity there needs to be an additional day off for every workforce. To accommodate 3 work shifts per day and 2 days off in 1 week, this study uses the modified Tibrewala, Philippe and Browne algorithm methods. Modification of the algorithm changes and adds from 3 steps to 5 steps and changes the tabular table format for scheduling workers for three shifts. Scheduling workforce with 5 working days and 2 holidays requires a workforce of 20 people in the printing department and 26 people in the laminate section and 32 people in the Slitting section. The excess labor that occurs is 1 man-days in the printing section and 4 man-days on the laminate section, and 13 man days on the slitting section. The excess of the workforce can be  utilized when there are workers who do not enter work due to illness, permission or leave. The scheduling is expected to be able to maintain the health and safety of the workforce so that it can perform optimal work to increase the productivity of the company.

Abstract

Status kehalalan produk, terutama produk makanan dan minuman, menjadi hal paling mendasar bagi konsumen muslim. Sementara bagi produsen, status halal diharapkan mampu meningkatkan daya saing produk di pasaran lokal maupun global. Namun demikian, produsen makanan dan minuman, terutama dari kalangan pelaku UKM, masih sangat sedikit yang telah mendaftarkan produknya untuk mendapatkan status halal resmi dari LPPOM-MUI. Sampai dengan tahun 2017, terdapat 1224 UKM kuliner yang terdaftar di Dinas Koperasi dan UKM kota Surakarta. Namun demikian, data tersebut belum terintegrasi dengan data sertifikasi halal dari LPPOM-MUI Jawa Tengah. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu kajian untuk memetakan kondisi UKM kota Surakarta berdasarkan status sertifikasi halal. Metode yang digunakan untuk analisis ialah statistika deskriptif. Hasil pemetaan menunjukkan bahwa baru 48 UKM atau 3,92% UKM yang telah mendapatkan sertifikasi halal. Dari jumlah tersebut, terdapat 18 UKM yang mendapatkan program fasilitasi dari Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM Provinsi Jawa Tengah untuk melakukan pengurusan sertifikasi halal secara gratis. Berdasarkan masa berlaku sertifikat halal, dari 48 UKM yang pernah mendapatkan sertifikat halal, terdapat 28 UKM yang sertifikat halalnya masih dinyatakan valid hingga tahun 2018/2019. Sementara itu, dari 18 UKM yang mendapatkan fasilitasi dari pemerintah dalam pengurusan sertifikasi halal, hanya 3 UKM yang sertifikat halalnya masih dinyatakan valid hingga tahun 2018/2019. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai potret UKM kota Surakarta berdasarkan status sertifikasi halal. Selanjutnya, hasil pemetaan ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan bagi pemerintah kota Surakarta untuk merancang program yang mampu mendorong percepatan perolehan sertifikasi halal bagi pelaku UKM.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of halal certification on the performance of food small-medium enterprises (SMEs). Specifically, this research aims to prove empirically whether there are significant differences in (1) profit margin of SMEs before and after obtaining a halal certificate; (2) profit margin between halal certified and non-certified SMEs; and (3) operational performance between halal certified and non-certified SMEs. Operational performance measures used in this study include production capacity, product quality, sales, net profit, amount of customers, customers' loyalty, and market share. A survey was conducted in 85 food SMEs in Surakarta city. Administered questionnaires were used to collect primary data from SMEs' managers. The differences regarding profit margin were analyzed using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. We determined the operational performance differences through non-parametric tests, namely the Mann Whitney U-test. Results based on objective data showed that there was no significant difference in the profit margin of SMEs before and after obtaining a halal certificate as well as between halal certified and non-certified SMEs. Results based on mean rank differences of subjective data of performance using the Mann Whitney U test showed that there were significant differences concerning all performance measures between halal certified and non-certified SMEs.

Abstract

Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi dunia industri. Pengawasan dan tanggung jawab akan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja juga harus mendapat dukungan dari pihak manajemen perusahaan. Pihak manajemen harus mampu memberikan jaminan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja bagi para karyawannya. Berdasarkan data awal pada departemen weaving PT Panca Bintang Tunggal Sejahtera didapatkan fakta bahwa 1) para pekerja tidak menggunakan alat pelindung diri (APD) pada saat bekerja 2) tidak adanya pengawasan dari manajemen terkait dengan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja serta kepatuhan alat pelindung diri pada departemen weaving. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan teknik dalam menentukan responden menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 orang dengan proporsi 2 orang safety officer, 2 orang safety supervisor dan 16 karyawan departemen weaving. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan wawancara dan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya kekurangan dalam pengawasan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja serta tidak digunakannya alat pelindung diri pada para pekerja pada saat bekerja. Sehingga pengawasan dan penggunaan alat pelindung diri pada departemen weaving PT Panca Bintang Tunggal Sejahtera belum berjalan dengan baik. PT Panca Bintang Tunggal Sejahtera sudah menerapkan pedoman keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja serta kepatuhan alat pelindung diri (APD) tetapi pelaksanaannya belum maksimal dengan bukti masih terdapatnya kasus kecelakaan kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to predict the impact of the understanding of halal certification by Small Medium Enterprise (SME) entrepreneurs on the intention to conduct halal certification. This study was conducted in the Cooperative and SME Office of Surakarta City. The Halal Certification Comprehension Rate was assessed using three variables.   We had knowledge of halal (PGT), perceived halal certification advantages (MNF), and perceived halal certification procedures (PROS).  Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used for data analysis.  The results show that SMEs have a good knowledge of halal and agree that halal certification is beneficial to their businesses.  We found, though, that the processes for handling Halal Certification are relatively complex. Based on the study, the perception of Halal Certification Benefits (MNF) is significantly affected by the intention of SMEs to conduct Halal Certification (NHL). The other two results show a positive correlation.
