Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the implementation of mind map method through audiovisual animation media in improving listening to fairy tale ability, (2) describe the achievement level of mindmap method through audiovisual animation media in defining interesting parts from the fairy tale including (figure, character, and theme), (3) describe achievement level of mind map method through audiovisual animation media in showing interesting parts about the relevance between theme and recent situation, (4) describe achievement level of mind map method through audiovisual animation media in defining interesting parts of a fairy tale using logical reason, (5) describe achievement level of mind map method through audiovisual animation media in improving the ability to conclude the message of a fairy tale. This is a classroom action research (CAR). The data collection applies five techniques such as (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Test, (4) Documentation, dan (5) Field Note. Mind map teaching methodthrough audiovisual animation media can improve ability in listening to fairy tale for the IKIP BUDI UTOMO Students. Based on evaluation result from cycle 1 and cycle 2, it is confirmed that the cumulative score improves; also, each aspect experiences the same improvement – except in the attractiveness of fairy tale relevance. Content comprehension aspect at cycle 1 gets score in percentage of 82% and at cycle 2 makes 90%. Fairy tale attracting parts aspect at cycle 1 reaches score in percentage of 34% and becomes 51% at cycle 2; fairy tale relevance attractiveness aspect at cycle 1 has score in percentage of 62%, and 54% at cycle 2; the aspect of expressing fairy tale interesting parts in logical reason at cycle 1 makes percentage score as many as 74% and becomes 87% at cycle 2, fairy tale conclusion message aspect at cycle 1 makes score of 75%, and 79% at cycle 2; furthermore, the student cumulative score in cycle 1 is 72% and becomes 80% at cycle 2. From the observation result, there also occurs improvement, and generally the teaching and learning atmosphere is quite conducive. The class situation is controllable, students feel favorable to mind map method and fairy tale VCD which are used as the media to listen to the fairy tale. Student interest in following fairy tale listening activity is relatively high. Things to suggest for further research, suppose it explores the implementation of mind map teaching method in the effort of improving student’s affective aspect. For Bahasa Indonesia teacher, suppose he/she applies mind map teaching method through audiovisual animation media as a kind of variation in teaching method tomake student not bored while joining the learning.

Abstract

There are many problems when implementing virtual google classroom and TPACK. In accordance with the title of the study, the problem of this research is how to apply a virtual google classroom that is integrated with Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) for Ahmad Yani Jabung's MTS students. Thus, this study aims (1) to determine the implementation of TPACK's integrated virtual google classroom; (2) to find out the obstacles experienced in the process of implementing the TPACK-integrated virtual google classroom; and (3) to find out the efforts made to implement the TPACK integrated virtual google classroom for MTS Ahmad yani jabung students. The approach used is a qualitative research approach with descriptive-qualitative analysis methods. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis with data reduction techniques, data presentation, and verification. After being analyzed using these approaches and methods, the following results were obtained. First, the implementation of the virtual google classroom is carried out by the teacher preparing online lesson plans, uploading accessible materials and assignments for students, preparing power points for presenting material online, and preparing learning videos. Second, the obstacles experienced in implementing the virtual google classroom in online learning are (1) good internet signal, (2) unsupportive weather, (3) not all students have android, and ( 4) not all students understand the material given by the teacher online. Third, the efforts made to overcome the obstacles in implementing the virtual google classroom are (1) students to a place where the internet network can be reached; (2) every month the school provides internet packages; (3) the teacher forms study groups and collects them at the meeting point or student house who has android and good signal; (4) if there are students who do not understand the material given by the teacher, students can ask their parents or siblings. Suggestions for further research are in order to obtain maximum results in conducting research with similar subject matter, accuracy in choosing data sources

Abstract

The method in improving the quality of listening learning is the chain-listening method. The chain-listed method is where students os students shisper something that is in accordance with the learning material to a learner who has lined up neatly. Student or students whisper the message to the second student. the second student whispered to the third student, and the same amounted to the last student. The last student mentions the message in a clear voice in front of the class. the facilitator or lecturer corrects and evaluates whether the message really reaches the last student or not and for students it can improve the quality of listening learning through the chain-listen method. The purpose of this studay was to determine the improvement of listening skills through the chain-listening method in PBSI students batch 2021B, Ikip Budi Utomo. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles. The subjects in this studay were PBSI students batch 2021B. Dsta analysis techniques in this study consisted of qualitative and quantitative data. Qualititative data obtained through observation and quantitative data obtained through observation and quantitative data obtained through test results in improving the qualitaty of listening learning.

Abstract

This research is a discussion of pragmatic studies, namely deixis. deixis itself is a word that has no reference depending on what, who, where and when the speech occurs. The purpose of this research is 1) to explain the forms of deixis, 2) to explain the meaning of deixis, 3) to explain the function of deixis. the research data is in the form of the movie "Ku Kira Kau Rumah" by using qualitative description research method that describes in detail the observed case. The result of the research is there are 5 forms of deixis which are 1) persona deixis, 2) place deixis, 3) time deixis, 4) discourse deixis, 5) social deixis and each deixis has its meaning and purpose.
