Abstract

Dalam dunia bisnis pulsa elektrik terdapat pengklasifikasian seller, dimana setiap seller ataupenjual memiliki tingkatan tertentu, mulai dari Master Dealer, Dealer, Sub Dealer, dan Agent/Retailer.Pelaku bisnis tingkat agen biasanya memiliki jaringan penjualan tertentu saja, mereka melakukanpenjualan hanya kepada orang-orang yang mereka kenal sehingga proses penjualan dapat dilakukantanpa harus bertemu langsung dengan pelanggan. Seorang pelanggan dari seorang agen bisameminta pulsa lewat SMS kepada agen, tetapi terkadang seorang agen tidak memegang handphonepenghasil uangnya, sehingga menyebabkan permintaan pulsa dari pelanggan datang terlambatbahkan sangat terlambat, hal ini merupakan gangguan diluar teknis perangkat network. Sistem serverpulsa elektrik untuk bisnis pulsa pada tingkat agen ini dirancang bertujuan untuk menghindariketerlambatan pemenuhan permintaan pulsa dari pelanggan kepada agen akibat dari kesalahan agentersebut, dimana sistem ini dibangun berbasiskan mikrokontroler ATMega8535 dengan Siemens M35isebagai terminal Receiver Transmitter-nya, dan bahasa program yang digunakan adalah bahasa C,menggunakan CodeVision V2.03.4 Standard Compiler dan komponen antar muka digunakan RS 232berfungsi sebagai penghubung antara ponsel dengan mikrokontroler. Daya yang dibutuhkan untukseluruh sistem 1,25 watt. Prinsip kerja :seorang pelanggan cukup mengirimkan SMS dengan formattertentu apabila ingin melakukan permintaan pulsa kepada agen , maka agen server system (HPSiemens M35i) akan merespon SMS pelanggan tersebut kemudian data tersebut diproses olehsistem minimum ATmega 8535 dan data tersebut dikirimkan kembali oleh HP Siemens M351 ke mainserver system. Lalu main server system merespon SMS dari agen dan akan mengirimkan pulsakepada pelanggan sesuai dengan jenis dan nominal yang diminta oleh pelanggan. Secara sederhanaproses kerja dari sistem ini hanya menggantikan permintaan pulsa dari agen ke server utama yangawalnya dilakukan dengan mengirimkan SMS secara manual menjadi otomatis, dengan syarat bahwaSMS yang dikirim oleh pelanggan sesuai dengan format yang ditentukan dan nomor ponselpelanggan tersebut terdaftar pada sistem server agen ini. Pengujian dilakukan terutama kesesuaianbaudrate antara ponsel dengan mikrokontroler, baudrate ponsel dengan mikrokontroler telah sesuai,yaitu sebesar 19200 bps dengan error 0%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian tingkat keberhasilan sistemminimum ini masih belum maksimal, hanya mencapai 80% karena penyusunan program masih belumsempurna. Pada rancangan selanjutnya sistem minimum ini akan dikembangkan lagi dan diperbaikisehingga benar-benar dapat diaplikasikan sebagai server pulsa tingkat agen yang dapat berfungsisecara maksimal dan handal.Kata kunci : mikrokontroler, agen server system, dan main server system

Abstract

Students now use not only computers or laptops, but also small devices such as mobile phones. The students at higher education institutions spent a lot of time on the internet to find the course materials. Sometimes the teacher sends the materials, but the students who are willing to take a specific course of a semester cannot get a brief concept of the course on before starting the semester. There is now a lot of online education systems on the Internet, but few are a single page and responsive. The purpose of this research is to develop a single page, responsive and web-based e-learning system. The method used in this research is the Rapid Application Development approach which has six stages of the development process, namely Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance. This research was conducted in the Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The students and teachers from the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education participated in this research. The results of this research indicate that with fully functional live chat, the OpenCourseWare system has a high usability test score, highly responsive and awesome features. The OpenCourseWare system is responsive and ajax-based mobile-friendly system that can be used by higher education institutions as an e-learning system based on the results obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to apply problem-based learning (PBL) by utilizing the Center for e-Learning and Open Education (CELOE) Learning Management System (LMS) and analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of PBL on the LMS CELOE media in improving students' critical thinking problem-solving skills in the Electronics course. The Classroom Action Research Method (CAR) applies the research model initiated by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Based on the observation results, LMS-based Project Based Learning is able to improve students' critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in the Electronics course. This statement can be confirmed from the results of repeated observations, namely the first and second cycles provide an increase in the post-test scores compared to the pretest scores. The level of effectiveness of the PBL method for Electronics courses in LMS in an effort to improve critical thinking, reached a value of 78% or can be said to be effective. In addition, the existence of discussion forums makes students active in communicating during the problem-solving process.

Abstract

Faktor  availability adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam menentukan sejauh mana kinerja sebuah sistem dalam mengatasi gangguan. Pada penelitian ini akan dianalisis availability sistem penanganan gangguan pada jaringan speedy di PT. Telkom. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder. Analisis yang dilakukan meliputi waktu kegagalan dan waktu perbaikan. Waktu kegagalan dimodelkan sebagai NHPP (NonHomogeneous Poisson Process) dengan parameter yang diukur adalah MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), ekspetasi jumlah gangguan, dan keandalan. Waktu perbaikan dimodelkan dengan distribusi Weibull MLE (maximum likelihood estimator) dengan parameter yang diukur adalah MTTR(Mean Time To Repair). Penelitian dilakukan pada 4 lokasi gangguan yaitu gangguan pada sistem DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer), jaringan lokal kabel tembaga (jarlokat), fiber optik dan transmisi. Hasil perhitungan statistik menunjukkan untuk satu tahun ke depan sistem transmisi diperkirakan mengalami gangguan yang paling sedikit dibandingkan sistem lainnya.  Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja penanganan gangguan pada sistem transmisi adalah yang terbaik dengan nilai availability sebesar 99,98%.

Abstract

The heart is the main organ that must work properly and regularly. If there is interference, it will be fatal, namely the onset of a heart attack. Heart attack is included in the 10 diseases with a high risk of death. This is caused by stress factors, blood pressure, excessive work, blood sugar, and others. The purpose of this study is to predict heart disease using Machine Learning (ML) algorithms as an early preventive measure on desktop-based information systems. With Machine Learning models, the hybrid model can increase the accuracy value of an ML method that is added to other ML methods. The accuracy value obtained from the Hybrid Model Machine Learning using the Random Forest and Logistic Regression methods is 84.48%, which is an increase of 1.32%.

Abstract

The selection of a website as a reference for learning directly affects the quality of information for the person who accesses it. The objectives and expected results of the learning management system depend on the quality of the teaching process and its effectiveness in online access. This research is expected to support teachers who carry out the teaching and learning process virtually during the pandemic. The research method used is quantitative, with a descriptive approach for evaluating, ranking, and choosing the learning management system. Based on the research survey, the criteria for analysis of the LMS platforms in this paper are summarized in three categories: learning skills tools, communication within LMS tools, and ease of use tools. The main goal is to present a comparative analysis of 5 electronic learning management systems. From the teachers' view in this research, only one LMS supports all three categories. The critical criteria of LMS are supported by video conference, chat room for personal discussion, and simple to use.

Abstract

Science education in vocational schools has undergone several changes in subject characteristics. Science teachers need to understand these characteristics to facilitate the delivery and implementation of learning in the classroom.Therefore, the purpose of this article is to describe the requirements profile of needs for STEM teaching materials in science learning at vocational schools.The research methods used are descriptive and qualitative through field observations (field studies) derived from professional research in the form of curriculum documents, lesson plans,learning videos,and analysis of six science textbooks in vocational school. The results of a curriculum analysis from document, videos and textbooks on the availability of project-based STEM components in learning equipment plans and existing materials are still inadequate to support the life skills of 21st century professional students, and the following curriculum requirements are: Not yet supported. So, in future research need integration, project-based, and underlying skills according to competency skills in vocational school.
