Abstract

This study aims to find out the effect of discovery learning strategy and students’ learning style on students’ character.  This study use quantitative approach  with experimental quasi method.  This study is conducted in class V of SDN 064015 and SDN 0960873 in Medan City with population and sample are 120 students.  Data of study is obtained through attitude test in the form of questionnaire.  The result obtained in this study shows that there is interaction between Discovery learning strategy and students’ learning style on students’ character.  The result of interaction between learning strategy and students’ learning style in this study is 0.000 < 0.05 significantly which means that the enhancement of students’ character in experiment class is better if compared to control class.  This shows that Discovery learning strategy and students’ learning style is very influential to students’ character.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know: (1) planning teaching of comic material form developed model of Based Learning on civics education learning as a main discussion of decision together (2) improving the result of students learning using teaching comic material basis of problem based learning model (3) the effectiveness of teaching comic material developed. The subjects of this research are the fifth grade students MIN Medan Sunggal at second semester at year 2015/2016 that has total 23 students. The total of men is 10 students and women is 13 students. The research is development research Research and Develoment/ R&D), model of ADDIE development has steps, namely: (1) analysis (2) designing (3) developing (4) implementation (5) evaluation.

Abstract

Daerah perbatasan memiliki potensi terjadinya kerentanan masyarakat penerima manfaat dari pembangunan dan pemberdayaan kawasan. Jarak dan isolasi daerah berimplikasi pada akses pembangunan dan pelayanan dasar masyarakat. Realisasi mandat atas peran Kecamatan dalam UU Pemda dan PP Kecamatan sedapat mungkin dapat didorong untuk memastikan pembangunan berbasis HAM terwujud. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) berfokus pada peningkatan kapasitas aktor pembangunan berbasis HAM di wilayah Kecamatan Besitang. PKM ini dilaksanakan dengan menggandeng mitra Pemerintahan Kecamatan Besitang untuk mewujudkan pembangunan berbasis HAM. PKM ini dilaksanakan dengan melalui tahap perencanaan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Peserta PKM terdiri segmentasi penting terkait tata kelola Pemerintahan Kecamatan Besitang. PKM dirancang melalui pendekatan partisipatif dengan paradigma pembangunan masyarakat (people centered development). Hasil pelaksanaan PKM peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guna mendorong partisipasi masyarakat dan pemerintah untuk meningkatkan tata kelola pembangunan berbasis HAM di Kecamatan Besitang. Pemerintah dapat memahami dan mengintegrasikan standar dan prinsip HAM dalam pembangunan, pemberdayaan dan partisipasi di wilayah pemerintahannya. Warga dapat memahami partisipasi secara konseptual, bentuk dan mekanisme untuk berpartisipasi dalam pembangunan.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how international legal regulations deal with human rights against indigenous Papuans. Human Rights (HAM) in general can be interpreted as the basic rights that a person has because of his human status. Human rights are universal. In essence, all categories of human rights are universal, interdependent and interrelated. The state has the full obligation to protect the human rights of every individual, such as protection from abuse of state power and authority, protection from torture by those in power, therefore the state must fulfill its authority in defending and upholding its existence. regarding the protection of human rights. The research method used in this research is library research. In addition, in the process of making this article, the type of research used in this research is normative. However, in reality, human rights regulations and law enforcement in Papua itself are not running according to the expectations of the tribal people of the interior of Papua because of obstacles in enforcing civil society.
