Abstract

Abstract: Research on the application of strategy active learning Quick On TheDraw has been done to achieve student’s mastery learning on the subject of rate ofreaction in class XI MIA SMAN Siak.. Form of research is pra-experiment researchwith one-shot study case design. Data retrieval time from the date of 4 November to 20November 2014. The sample was selected from the three existing classes, namely classXI MIA 2. Data analysis technique used is to calculate presentation of classical masterylearning. Based on the final results of data processing using acquired mastery learningclassical is 90,91%, it’s means that the application of strategy active learning Quick OnThe Draw can achieve student’s mastery learning on the subject of rate of reaction inclass XI MIA SMAN 1 Siak.Keywords: Quick On The Draw, Mastery Learning, Rate of Reaction

Abstract

Abstract: Existence is a word derived from the Latin is existere that have meaning: arise, arise, exist, and where they arise. Bangko Bakti is the village where the indigenous population is Malay, Javanese society first of all comes from the island of Java bertrasmigrasi to North Sumatra, then after the Java community who moved to North Sumatra kehidpan experiencing economic constraints. So then the Java community bertranmigrasi Bakti Bangko and residents of the Bangko Bakti. The reason they settled in Bangko Bakti is seen very good job opportunities in Bangko Bakti. The existence of Javanese culture in Desa Bakti Bangko Malay community for their willingness to use Java in the village culture Bangko Bakti, besides the similarities and liver kerendah two cultures that could Javanese culture well received by the Malay community in the village of Bangko Bakti. The strong influence of Javanese culture led to the Javanese cultural influence on the Malay community in Bakti Bangko. after affected Javanese, Malay community using a portion of Javanese culture in the everyday life of Malay culture in Bangko Bakti. Among them are: Language, some custom Java community did wages, art, food. While the Malay and Javanese cultural perceptions in people's lives Bangko Bakti notice of the existence of Javanese culture in Bangko Bakti, Behold, the two cultures portray the absence of a great good rejection of any society. When the Malay community culture using Java, the Java community does not feel disadvantaged. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students on the subject of chemical bonding through the application of learning models Generative Learning in class X SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru MIA. Type of research is experimental study using pretest-posttest design. Research conducted at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. Samples from this study are students of class X MIA2 as an experimental class and the students in class X MIA1 as the control class, this sample was randomly selected after tests of normality and homogeneity in both samples. In the learning process experimental class and control class using the scientific approach to the curriculum beracuan 2013. Classes are classes given experimental treatment using Generative Learning learning model, while the control class is the class that was treated using the usual method implementation discussion. Based on the results of hypothesis testing data analysis obtained t> t table ie 2.99> 1.67, this shows the differences in learning outcomes of students before and after the study material chemical bonds with and without the use of learning model Generative Learning in class X SMA Negeri 9 MIA Pekanbaru. Key Words: Generative Learning, Results Learning, Institute of Chemistry

Abstract

Abstrak: The aim of this research were to know misconceptions and the category level of misconceptions in the second year students of SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru aboutt concepts of chemical equallibrium. This research took place in SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru and the data were collected on April 2017. was all the students of XI MIA class of four classes. The population consisted of 161 students. The sample was all the population. This research was descriptive quantitative. The technique of collecting data used diagnostic test and interview. The result showed that students found misconception in the definition concept of chemical equallibrium with the percentage was 34,78% (category of average), for the concept of heterogen and homogen was 36,335% (average), the concept of dissociation degree was 33,54% (average), the concept of Kc measurement was 43,785% (average), the concept of Kp measurement was 27,55% (poor), the principle concept of Le Chatelier was 36,764% (average), the concept of using chemical equallibrium in world industry was 23,60% (poor).Key Word : Chemical Equallibrium Misconception, Diagnostic Test,Three-Tier Multiple Choices

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to increase student achievementon the subject Oxidation Reduction Reaction inclass X SMA Handayani Pekanbaru.  This research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMA Handayani Pekanbaru..The samples of this research were the students of class X MIA 3 as the experimental class and  students of class X MIA 1 as  the control class. Experimental class is a class that is cooperative learning model Snowball Drilling, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 2,2104 > 1,67, means that the application of cooperative learning model Snowball Drilling can improve student achievement on the subject of Oxidation Reduction Reaction class X SMA Handayani Pekanbaru increase learning achievement category in the experimental class is based on the normalized gain scores (N-Gain) relatively high at 0,7493. Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this research was to determine and amount of the misconception rate in X MIA class of Senior High School Negeri 8 Pekanbaru on chemical bonding. The research has been done in January-May 2017 by using descriptive method with simple random sampling to determined by Krejcie and Morgan formulas, the total of samples are 136 students. The instrument is a Three-Tier Diagnostic Test. Validating of instrument through content validity by material expert, construct validity using product moment correlation,and reliability using split half. Research result shown that the instrument was good and valid with instrument reliability value was 0,623, the percentage of students who had misconceptions 39,90% and including misconceptions medium category. Students, misconception that: (1) stability elements and octet rules misconceptions low category, (2 )drawing of Lewis symbol and structures misconceptions medium category, (3) ionic bonding and covalent bonding misconceptions medium category, (4) physical properties of ionic and covalent compounds misconceptions medium category,(5) metalic bonding misconceptions medium category, (6) polar and nonpolar covalent misconceptions medium category, (7) exclusion and failure octet rule misconceptions low category.Key Words : Misconception, Three tier diagnostic test, Chemical bonding

Abstract

Abstract: The application of active learning strategy bingo review to improved the students achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 1 Kampar Timur has been done. The research was a experiment with pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of four classes grade. The sample were two classes, where class X9 as an experimental class and the class X10 as an control class, they selected after normality and homogeneity test. Experimental class applied to active learning strategy bingo review and the control class was not. Technique data analysis used the t-test and gain normalized test. Based on data analysis obtained tcount > ttable (1,81>1,66), means that application of active learning strategy bingo review improved student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 1 Kampar Timur. Improved of student achievement at experiment class categored high with N-gain normalized is 0,70 and the in control class categored medium with N-gain normalized is 0,61.Key words: Active Learning Bingo review Strategy, Learning Achievement, Hydrocarbons

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a Research and Development (R & D). The development process has been done with reference to 4-D model with steps of Defenition, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Research was conducted in FKIP UR. This research aims to obtain a student worksheet oriented scientific approach on the subject of the acid-base solution for class XI SMA. The research and development with 4-D model was conducted only until Development step, because the purpose of this research was limited to develop and produce a valid student worksheet to be implemented based on validator assessment. Feasibility of student worksheet was evaluated from feasibility of content, language, presentation, graphical and scientific approach aspects. Student worksheet validation result obtained an average value as 4,53 which showed that student worksheet which developed was valid. Means, student worksheet oriented scientific approach on the subject of the acid-base solution for class XI SMA that was developed, suitable to be used in learning process.Keyword : Scientific Approach, Worksheet Students, and Acid-Base Solution

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of research were to know improved of student achievement and the effect of the application problem posing learning model to increased student achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in Class XI MIPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. This research was a form of experimental research with the design randomized control group pretest-posttest. The study population was students of class XI MIPA at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. The samples were students of class XI MIPA 3 as experimental class and class XI MIPA 2 as the control class. The experimental class was applied Problem Posing learning model, while the control class using conventional learning model. Data were analyzed by using t-test to created a prediction and N-gain test to choiced the improvement category of students achievement. Results from the study showed tcount>ttable 5,32>1.67) and category increase student achievement in the experimental class at 0,80 with high katergori while the experimental class category increase student achievement by 0.69 with category soit can be concluded the implementation of Problem Posing learning model can improve the student achievementon the subject of Hydrocarbonin class XI MIPA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Learning Achievement, Learning Model Problem Posing, Hydrocarbons
