Abstract

This study aims to determine how the ability to solve mathematical problems in terms of the learning interest of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 18 Selayar Islands. The type of research used is descriptive-qualitative. The research subjects consisted of 3 students of class VIII B SMP Negeri 18 Selayar Islands which consisted of 1 student with high learning interest, 1 student with moderate learning interest, and 1 student with low learning interest. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, mathematical problem solving ability tests, and interviews. The questions used to measure mathematical problem solving skills are in the form of essay questions totaling 2 numbers with a system of two-variable linear equations. The results of tests and interviews were analyzed based on indicators of mathematical problem solving ability, namely understanding problems, planning solutions, solving problems according to plan, and re-examining procedures and settlement results. good, at the stage of solving the problem according to the plan the subject is able to solve the problem well, and is able to re-examine the answer. returning to the procedure and the results of the completion of the subject did not re-examine the answer. Subjects with low learning interest understood the problem well, but were at the stage of planning the solution, solving the problem according to plan, and re-examining the procedure and the results of the investigation. settlement has not been fulfilled.

Abstract

Caulerpa lentillifera seaweed is one of the seaweed commodities that is very popular with the community, it has even been produced through aquaculture. Caulerpa lentillifera seaweed has a fairly high nutritional content in the form of carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Increased production can be done by developing cultivation technology, namely by giving liquid organic fertilizer as a stimulant in accelerating growth. This study aims to determine the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer from bean sprouts to increase the growth and production of Caulerpa lentillifera seaweed. The research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatments A, B, C, and D (each given MOL: 1.5 mL MOL/L water, 2 mL MOL/L water, 2.5 mL MOL/L water, and 3 mL MOL/L water). Data analysis using ANOVA and continued Duncan's test. The results showed that the application of liquid organic fertilizer to Caulerpa lentillifera seaweed using 3 mL MOL/L of local microorganism water from bean sprouts gave the highest absolute growth of 374 g and the highest production of 3.74 kg/m2.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan Caulerpa sp. dalam pakan diketahui dapat meningkatkan laju pertumbuhan dan sintasan beragam organisme akuatik, namun belum diujicobakan pada ikan bandeng. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan rumput laut Caulerpa sp. dalam pakan terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos). Sebanyak 120 ekor benih ikan bandeng dengan ukuran 3-4 cm dengan bobot rata-rata 5,39±0,07 g dipelihara dalam waskom dengan volume 15 liter. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu rancangan acak lengkap dengan perlakuan A (kontrol), perlakuan B (tepung Caulerpa sp. 10%/1 kg pakan), perlakuan C (tepung Caulerpa sp. 20%/1 kg pakan), dan perlakuan D (tepung Caulerpa sp.30%)dengan masing-masing 3 ulangan. Ikan uji diberi pakan perlakuan selama 40 hari. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan pemberian pakan dengan penambahan rumput laut Caulerpa sp. terhadap pertumbuhan bobot mutlak dan laju pertumbuhan harian(SGR), memberikan pengaruh nyata (P0.05), tetapi tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata (P0.05) terhadap sintasan ikan bandeng. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemanfaatan rumput laut Caulerpa sp. dalam pakan mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan sintasan ikan bandeng dengan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak dan laju pertumbuhan harian diperoleh hasil tertinggi pada perlakuan C sebanyak 3.82 g dan 1.34 %/hari, dan hasil terendah pada perlakuan A (kontrol) sebanyak 3.21 g dan 1.17 %/hari. Sedangkan nilai sintasan tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan C sebesar 83.3% dan nilai sintasan terendah diperoleh pada perlakuan B sebanyak 73.3%
