Abstract

Factors physics of a body of water becomes one of determining the success of the tilapia fish farming system of floating net cages. An environmental parameter that determines the exact location for the cultivation is temperature, depth, brightness, turbidity. The procedure of this study includes (1) preparation, (2) determining the observation station, (3) variable observations, (4) data processing, (5) analysis of descriptive data. Physical parameters of water quality for fish farming tilapia with Keramba cage system (KJA) on mined land in the Village Kalumeme sand, Bulukumba is eligible to serve for cultivation where an increase in growth rate and survival rate of tilapia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the solution to the abundance paci- paci Trichodina sp that attack catfish. This research is expected to be material information in an effort to increase fish production in the African catfish hatchery operations. This study was conducted in August and September 2015 Fish Seed Center (BBI) Bontomanai Gowa in South Sulawesi, The experimental design used was completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications ie Treatment A (1.000 ppm), treatment B (2,000 ppm), treatment C (3,000 ppm), and without giving a solution of PACI - Paci (treatment D). The results showed that soaking in the solution catfish paci paci leaf extract is effective to reduce the infestation Trichodina to 84%, and the best dose in this study with a 24-hour immersion is 3 g / l.dengan this treatment achieved a survival rate higher catfish during immersion, ie 97%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kedalaman penanaman rumput laut yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan rumput laut E. cottonii. Rancangan percobaan dari penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan kedalaman penanaman yang berbeda yaitu:  30 cm, 40 cm dan 50 cm, masing-masing perlakuan diberi ulang 5 kali. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi laju perumbuhan relatif dan laju pertumbuhan harian rumput laut.  Data diolah dengan ANOVA dan apabila data berbeda nyata maka dilakukan uji  lanjut  Duncan untuk melihat perbedaan  antar  perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedalaman yang berbeda pada kegiatan budidaya rumput laut E. cottonii dengan metode longline berpengaruh sangat nyata pada pertumbuhan relative dan laju pertumbuhan harian pada rumput laut.  Perlakuan dengan kedalaman penanaman rumput laut 30 cm merupakan kedalaman yang terbaik pada penelitian ini.  Pertumbuhan relatif E. cottonii pada kedalaman 30 cm sebesar 32,00% atau meningkat sekitar 39% sampai 52% dibandingkan pertumbuhan relatif pada kedalaman 40 cm dan 50 cm yaitu masing-masing sebesar 23,60%  dan  21,00%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui  pengaruh dan dosis terbaik kapur dolomit CaMg(CO3)2) dan kapur tohor (CaO) dalam media budidaya terhadap moulting, pertumbuhan dan sintasan udang vanamei (Litopenaus vannamei). Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Pada masing masing perlakuan diberi kapur dolomit dan tohor dengan dosis tiap perlakuan yaitu perlakuan A (Kapur dolomit 0gram dan kapur tohor 0gram), perlakuan B (Kapur dolomit 0,6gram dan kapur tohor 0gram), perlakuan C (Kapur dolomit 0,4gram dan kapur tohor 0,2gram) dan perlakuan D (Kapur dolomit 0,3gram dan kapur tohor 0,3gram). Udang uji dipelihara dalam akuarium 50x60x40 cm3 yang berisi air laut sebanyak 60 L dengan kepadatan tebar 1 ekor L-1. Hewan uji diberi perlakuan selama 60 hari. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan C (Kapur dolomit 0,4gram dan kapur tohor 0,2gram) menghasilkan intensitas molting, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak dan laju pertumbuhan harian yang lebih baik dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya, sedangkan untuk sintasan perlakuan B (Kapur dolomit 0,6gram dan kapur tohor 0gram) lebih baik dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya.

Abstract

Vanname shrimp is a fishery commodity that is currently popular with many people because vanname shrimp is more free and resistant to disease and is a promising business prospect for cultivators. Shrimp cultivation business in educational ponds at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar located in Manakku Village, Labakkang District, Pangkep Regency is a business with vanname shrimp commodities. This study aims to determine the amount of costs and income, business studies on various vanname shrimp culture technologies carried out by 3 vanname shrimp farmers. This is done to assess whether the cultivation business is feasible or not feasible to be developed. Based on the business studies carried out, it can be seen that the vanname shrimp cultivation business in the education pond is profitable. The research results obtained are; 1) The investment cost for each farmer is Rp. 19,000,000,-. The total cost of vanname shrimp farming per farmer is Rp. 71.818.750, -, Rp. 140,685,000, -, and Rp. 207,712,500,-. The total cost of vanname shrimp farming is the sum of fixed costs and variable costs. The total income of vanname shrimp farming business earned by each farmer is Rp. 44,871,250,-, Rp. 75,960,000, -, and Rp. 67.287.5000,-. 2) The study of shrimp farming resulted in R/C ratio per farmer of 1.62, 1.54 and 1.32, the value of B/C Ratio of 0.62, 0.54 and 0.32, Break Event Point (BEP ) divided into 2, namely BEP Volume and BEP price. The value of BEP Production/volume per farmer is 1025.98 kg, 2164.38 kg, and 41542.50 kg, while the price BEP is Rp. 43,083, Rp. 42,210 and Rp. 41,543.
