Abstract

Someone who has right to get scholarship is someone who has passed some selected criteria. Eachcriteria has level which different to each other. Depends on the level from each criteria, can be got by levelable to be short according to selected priority.Data processing which required many consideration will felt difficult and need very long time if doneby manual, any else if the data reach millions. A decission support system based on computer which cangive support to the process of determination of grantee student can support data processing process Thissystem give decision choice alternatives pursuant to degree of membering its’ variable that used in decisionmaking process.Determination of eligibility of student to get scholarship is done to phase selection where which usedas consideration is in achievement student semester, storey level, production of old fellow of student, amountof the lack of administration burden which not yet fulfil by student, existence of achievement of life line ofstudent lecturing and also special priority which given by college theology of Buddha Smaratungga tostudent because selected things like student that on his area happen a natural disaster.Determination of eligibility poured into degree of membership for each variable. The next phase is hecalculation degree recommended pursuant to criteria and condition determined by the provider ofscholarship through the combination of how big the degree of membership from each selected variable.Keyword : Decission support system, scholarship

Abstract

The background: The success of the learning determined by students, teachers, support facilities in learning method. The research aims at determining differences in theinfluence of the implementation ofexample non example type of cooperative learning method and jigsaw type to achievement of citizenship education study,differences in the influenceon the high learning students motivated and on the low learning motivated to citizenship education studys achievement, andthe interaction influence of learning method to the students motivation achievement on citizenship education study.Methods: This research used experiment methods.The population is junior high school student in Undaan district  Kudus regency. The research sampling was taken by using cluster random sampling, at total of 60 students. The data collecting technique used theory objective test, and questionnaire to know the students learning motivation. To variable of learning students motivated and citizenship education studys achievement learning questionnaire validity and reliability. Data was analyzedby two – ways  variant analisys.Results: From the data analysis it can be concluded: (1) There is a significant defferencee between in the implementation of the example non example type learning, cooperative method and jigsaw type to the achievement of citizenship education study (2) There is a significant defferencee between on on the high learning students motivated and on the low learning motivated to citizenship education studys achievement , and (3) there isan interaction of influencesof learning methodand the students motivation to achievement on citizenship education study . Keywords : example non example, jigsaw, achievement on citizenship education, students motivated

Abstract

Mudharabah is a permissible commercial agreement in Islam and it contains great benefits for human beings. Mudharabah role in Shariah economic development is very important  in improving the welfare and empowering the economic of people. Mudharabah will correlate the people with  surplus of fouds to the people with lack of fouds for reaching the human welfare (al falah) through organizing the natural resources which is based on cooperation and participation. However, Mudharabah is not implemented optimally yet,  there are several obstacles in implementing it, Therefore, there is a need a comprehensive measurement to socialized the utility of mudharabah to the people through education and dissemination, and it has to be done by certain institutions such as, shariah financial institution, Association of Muslim Scholars (MUI), ademicians  and also from prominent figures in the society.

Abstract

The Amanded of UUD 1945 changed basically the structure and State institutional. the change of  the structure State institutional that is, was formed several of the new State institutionals, among them the Yudisial Commission (KY), the Constitutional  Court (MK) and the Council of Representative of the Area (DPD). The UUD 1945 amanded unclear defined the State institutional, that is caused the inter-institutional authority dispute . Who right to  interpreted the State institutional and what institution  that were said as the State institution  according to UUD 1945 fourth amanded  . The Institution that the Right to interpreted UUD 1945 is  the Constitutional Court. The State institutional that were meant in UUD 1945 is Peoples Consultative Assembly, the Peoples Representative Council, DPD, President, The ministry  of the State , BPK, , DPRD, the Commission of general election  (KPU), the Yudisial Commission, , the central bank, Republic of Indonesia Army, Republic of Indonesia State Police, and the Council of  President consideration  . The constitutional court had the authority to settle of   the inter-institutional authority dispute of the country that his authority was given by UUD 1945.

Abstract

Learning a new language is ultimately to be able to communicate with it. Encouraging a sense of responsibility on the part of the learners is crucial for training them to be proficient communicators. As such, understanding the strategies that they employ in acquiring the language skill is important to come to ideas of how to promote learner autonomy. Research recently conducted with three different groups of learners of English at the tertiary education level in Malang indicated that they used metacognitive and social startegies at a high frequency, while memory, cognitive, conpensation, and affective strategies were exercised at a medium frewuency. This finding implies that the learners have acquired some degrees of autonomy because metacognive strategies requires them to independently make plans for their learning activities as well as evaluate the progress, and social strategies requires them to independently enhance communicative interactions with other people. Further actions are then to be taken increase their learning autonomy, that is by intensifying the practice of use of the other four strategy categories, which are not yet applied intensively.

Abstract

Abstract: This study is to investigate whether self-assessment contains construct- irrelevant variances of gender and age, and whether self-assessment correlates with test scores. The data were collected from seventy-eight newly arrived international students at the English Lan­guage Center, Michigan State University, USA. Prior to class com­mencement, they were asked to self-assess their listening, speaking, and interactive skill. Then, a test of listening was administered; finally, they were assigned to perform task-based conversational activities.The statistical findings imply that, firstly, gender and age do not provide construct irrelevant variances to the validity of self-assessment and, se­condly, self-assessment produces reliable scores.

Abstract

Abstract: Democratization in Myanmar has drawn international attention, when on April 1, 2012military junta held a free, fair general election. The success of Myanmar in holding the general electionwould become a new era of changes that was occurring domestically. Positive responses on thechanges were shown by not only Myanmars people but also the whole international comunities whichhad previously pressured the state due to various violations of human right and democracy. Basically,some democratizing efforts had begun since the government drafted a new constitution in 2008, up tothe winning of Thein Sein as President in the 2010 preliminary elections. Under Thein Sein leadership,there have been much changes leading to democracy, such as the achievement of ceasefire, economicimprovement, the release of political detainees, mass media freedom, general elections, and thereestablishment of parliamentary functions. The question in this paper was, “How these internal andexternal factors influence the occurrence of democratization in Myanmar?” In this paper, the writerdrew on the theories of democratization in describing the internal and external factors that haveinfluence on the occurrence of democratization, by the three approaches, namely, modernization,transition, and structural approaches, from David Potter. The paper results indicated that the aim of themilitary junta at implementing the democratization was due to some internal factors in a domesticscope, predominated by domestic actors, and some external factors in a framework of democratizationwaves by a reason of spreading or promoting democratic values, as well pressures and other sanctions.The entire threats have led to the decline of military junta legitimacy in political arena, and expulsionby international world. Therefore, the writer concluded that the relationship between the internalfactors and external factors would determine the continuity of democratization in Myanmar.Keywords : Democratization, Internal Factors, External Factors, Military Junta, Myanmar

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) fungsi retorika interpersonal pragmatik (RIP) guru dan siswa, (2) bentuk retorika interpersonal pragmatik guru dan siswa, dan (3) strategi penyampaian retorika interpersonal pragmatik guru dan siswa. Data penelitian ini adalah tuturan guru dan siswa. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas seorang guru dan siswa pada kelas XI IPA (1, 2, dan 3). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode rekaman, observasi, dan wawancara, yang digunakan untuk mencari data terkait dengan fungsi, bentuk, dan strategi RIP. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, dan (3) penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) fungsi RIP guru meliputi fungsi memerintah, fungsi bertanya, fungsi mengizinkan, fungsi melarang dan fungsi meminta. Sementara itu, fungsi RIP pada tuturan direktif siswa terhadap guru dan siswa terhadap siswa meliputi fungsi mengizinkan, fungsi  meminta, dan fungsi bertanya. (2) Bentuk RIP pada tuturan direktif guru berupa tuturan deklaratif yang berfungsi memerintah, mengizinkan, dan melarang. Bentuk RIP siswa berupa tuturan deklaratif yang berfungsi mengizinkan. (3) Strategi penyampaian RIP pada tuturan direktif guru terhadap siswa disampaikan secara langsung dan tidak langsung dengan fungsi yang bervariasi. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, saran-saran yang ingin disampaikan melalui penelitian ini ditujukan kepada guru agar menggunakan fungsi dan bentuk RIP memerintah, bertanya, dan meminta sebagai strategi alternatif untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran dan mengendalikan kelas agar kondusif sehingga tujuan pembelajaran yang dikehendaki tercapai. Para siswa hendaknya memperhatikan RIP dalam bertindak tutur dalam pembelajaran di kelas terutama dalam bertanya sehingga terjadi interaksi aktif yang harmonis antar siswa dengan guru dan siswa dengan siswa. Mentors II       : Dr. Arifin, M.Pd.   Keyword         : directive, function, strategy, politenes, rhetoric.     ABSTRACT   This research is the descriptive qualitative research to describe (1) the function of rhetoric interpersonal pragmatics of teacher and student, (2) the form of rhetoric interpersonal pragmatics of teacher and student,(3) the strategy of delivering rhetoric interpersonal pragmatics of teacher and student. The data of this research are the speech of the teacher and student. The methods, which are used in this research are recording method, observation, and interview. These methods are used to find the information related to the function, the form, and the strategy of RIP. The analisis process of the data will be done in three phases. The phases are (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) conculusion and verification. The results of this research show that (1) the function of rhetoric interpersonal pragmatics of teacher are commanding function, asking function, allowing function, forbidding function, and ordering function. Meanwhile, the function of rhetoric interpersonal pragmatics in the direct speech of the students to teachers or students to students are allowing function, ordering function, and asking function.  (2) the form of rhetoric interpersonal pragmatics of teacher is the declarative speech to command, allow, and forbid. The form of rhetoric interpersonal pragmatics of the students is declarative speech, which has function to allow. ,(3) the strategy of delivering rhetoric interpersonal pragmatics of teacher to the students in the direct and indirect ways whit various function. Based on the result above, the suggestions through this research are teacher have to use the function an form of commanding, asking, requesting RIP as the alternative strategy to do the teaching and learning process and to control the class to make it conducive so that the teaching and learning goals can be realized. The students have to concern the RIP through speech act in the teaching and learning process in class especially on asking so that the active and harmonic interactive between student and student can be realized. Another researcher can do the continous research through improving the problemsand sites of this research.

Abstract

This paper was a subset report of a research project on skill-based English learning strategies by Indonesian EFL learners. It focusses on the attempts to reveal: (1) the differences in the use of strategies of learning speaking skill by male and female learners, and (2) the contribution of strategies of learning speaking skill on the learners’ speaking proficiency. The data from 595 second year senior high school students from eleven schools in East Java, Indonesia were collected using a 70 item questionnaire of Oral Communication Learning Strategy (OCLS) and a 10 item self-assessment of speaking proficiency. The statistical analysis revealed that gender provided significant effects on the intensity of use of six types of strategies of learning speaking skill – interactional-maintenance, self-evaluation, fluency-oriented, time gaining, compensation, and interpersonal strategies – with female learners reporting higher intensity of use. A further analysis found that four strategy types – interactional-maintenance, self-improvement, compensation, and memory strategies – greatly contribute to the speaking proficiency. These findings imply that strategies-based instruction, covering the four most influential strategies, needs to be integrated explicitly in the speaking class to help learners, particularly male learners, cope with problems in learning speaking skill.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan pokok penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengembangan kapasitas Minapolitan di Gianyar Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas pengembangan kapasitas Minapolitan relative baik, dimana terdiri atas 14,790 ha lahan sawah dan 97.82% adalah irigasi semi teknis, rat-rata curah hujan adalah 75-909 mm, didominasi iklim tipe C dan didukung oleh beberapa mata air. Wilayah ini juga dilengkapi  infrastruktur dan fasilitas irigasi yang memadai. Tata kelola air dilaksanakan dengan Subak. Sumberdaya manusia seperti tenaga kerja mendekati 79.38%, atau 30.87% mayoritas bekerja di sektor pertanian.Kata Kunci: minapolitan, perikanan, pengembangan dan kapasitas. THE POTENTIAL CARRYING CAPACITY MINAPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT IN GIANYAR BALI ABSTRACTThe main purpose of this study is to identify potential carrying capacity Minapolitan development in Gianyar Bali. This study uses descriptive analysis. The results found carrying capacity development Minapolitan relatively good, which consists of; 14,790 ha rice area and 97.82% semi technical irrigation, the average rainfall is 75-909 mm, predominantly belonging to the C-type climate and supported by many distribution springs.
