Abstract

Physical education is an integral part of the overall education. Generally, this type of education always be integrated with physical education and health. Physical education is not only related with physical development but is closely connected with the spiritual and mental health. A popular saying proves it "in a healthy body there is a healthy and strong spirit" that "matched" with the Arabic phrase al aqlu al salim fi al jism al salim.Physical education aims to develop aspects of physical fitness, motor skills, discipline, in addition to the physical education can also develop social skills, critical reasoning, emotional stability, moral action and aspects of a healthy lifestyle. All the goals will be achieved through training and physical activity (exercise) which is continuous and regular planned. Physical training plays an important role in improving physical fitness. Physical fitness will determine the person's physical ability to perform daily activities. Daily activities will run smoothly and can be accomplished either by physically healthy, fit, and productive.

Abstract

A survey to understand the profile of livestock market in West Sumatra had been conducted within three months since August to November 2012. The survey had two objectives; (a) to recognize the stakeholders of livestock markets; and (b) to classify the level of livestock market development. Eighteen livestock markets (69.2 %) have responded to fill a distributed questioner from nine districts and municipalities. Collected data were analyzed by using a simple statistical tools as well as descriptive and qualitative approach. The results showed that there were five components of stakeholders with a different role; (1) farmer, (2) farmers group, (3) middlemen, (4) traders and (5) market officers. Livestock markets could be divided into three categories; (a) big market, (b) middle market and (c) small livestock market. Each category has its own indicators. There was a need to improve the livestock market management to anticipate the external and globalization forces. Then it should be a more transparent transaction process in the internal affairs where market process and products are good, standard, healthy and halal. Therefore livestock markets require an improvement of both at their infrastructures and institutional capacity buildings.

Abstract

Jambu air deli hijau memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi dari jambu lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan keanekaragaman dan kelimpahan serangga pengunjung pada bunga jambu air deli hijau (Syzygium samarangense) dengan menggunakan alat yellow sticky trap yang dijelaskan dalam skripsi ini. Bunga jambu dari family Myrtaceae memerlukan bantuan serangga dalam proses penyerbukan. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kunjungan serangga pada bunga yaitu kandungan nektar, konsentrasi gula, dan kelimpahan bunga serta memiliki bau harum. Sampel penelitian yang diambil menggunakan metode yellow sticky trap kemudian dianalisis menggunakan indeks keanekaragaman dan indeks dominansi. Selama pengambilan sampel dilakukan didapat 235 jenis serangga yang mengunjungi bunga jambu air deli hijau terdiri dari 21 famili dan 8 ordo serangga.  Dengan indeks keanekaragaman diwaktu pagi 2,774, siang 2,774 dan sore 2,379 sesuai dengan kriteria Shanon-Wiener indeks keanekaragaman ini dikategorikan sedang dan indeks dominansi serangga diwaktu pagi 0,074, siang 0,073 dan sore 0,131 dikategorikan sebagai indeks dominansi yang rendah. Serangga yang mendominasi berkunjung adalah ordo Diptera yaitu pada pagi dan siang hari dari family Tephritidae dan sore hari dari family Tabanidae. Parameter lain yang dilihat ada faktor fisika lingkungan yaitu temperatur suhu yang memiliki suhu tinggi 32°C pada siang hari, kelembaban udara tertinggi 79% pada pagi hari dengan kondisi cuaca mendung dan intensitas cahaya tertinggi 835 x 100 Lux pada siang hari dengan kondisi cuaca terik. Abstract

This study aims to determine the students' learning difficulties from the experimental observations of human sensory, cognitive and learning indicators and factors that cause the learning difficulties in class XI of Science at MAN 1 Stabat at the year of learning 2015/2016. The study used descriptive quantitative design. Samples were taken by total sampling with 71 students. The technique of data collection used observation tests, diagnostic tests and questionnaires. The results show that the percentage of the students' learning difficulties from the highest to the lowest on cognitive aspects, they are C5, C6, C3, C4, C2 and C1 for amount 70.43%, 53.06%, 51.17%, 47.09%, 44, 72% and 34.51%. The Percentage of students' learning difficulties based on the indicators in the material of human sensory system are indicator (1) amount 65.26% categorized as very high, the indicator (2) amount 45.54% categorized as high, the indicator (3) amount 43.98% categorized as high and the indicator (4) of 53.93% categorized as very high. Internal and external factors that cause the learning difficulties of learning difficulties highest to lowest percentage are the subject matter (61.40%), the school environment (61.26%), instructional media (54.66%), intelligence (45.07%), motivation (43.48%), parents (42.69%), the environment (41.81%), psikiatik (41.19%), teachers (41.10%), interest (39.17%) and health (38.99%).Keywords: Cognitive Aspects, Human Sensory Systems, Learning Difficulties, , Learning Indicators

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan media audiovisual dan tanpa media audiovisual pada materi pokok sistem ekskresi pada manusia kelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Medan T.P. 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Medan. Pengambilan Sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan cara purposif sampling. Kelas XI IPA2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar siswa yang berbentuk test objektif berjumlah 50 soal. Tes yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media audiovisual lebih tinggi, dengan nilai postest  ( 80,22) dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa tanpa menggunakan media audiovisual dengan nilai postest ( 76,34). Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik t diperoleh  thit =  2,313, dan dengan α = 0,05 sehingga diperoleh ttab = 1,997 ternyata  thit>ttab (2,313>1,997) maka dinyatakan Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan media audiovisual dan tanpa menggunakan media audiovisual pada materi pokok sistem ekskresi pada manusia Kelas XI  SMAN 11 Medan TP. 2014/2015.

Abstract

This study aims to find empirical data about the application of mini research tasks to student learning outcomes in the course of Systems Biology at FMIPA Unimed Medan. The method used in this research is quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that students' ability in mastery of biodiversity material given task with mini research on value (post-test) was higher with mean value (95) than control class (70). In addition, the mastery of communication skills in writing, oral presentation skills, skills of analysis / critical thinking and integration skills is higher than the control class. Thus it can be said that the application of mini research tasks to students who follow the course of Systems Biology in FMIPA Unimed can improve learning outcomes in the mastery of biodiversity lesson materials. Likewise can improve the ability of students in the mastery of communication skills in writing, oral presentation skills, skills of analysis / critical thinking and integration skills. The results of this study will be used as a refinement of Basic Biology learning guide in FMIPA Unimed.Keywords: Mini research, Biodiversity, Student learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsep diri dan kecerdasan emosional siswakelas X IPA MAN 2 Model Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016 dan bagaimana hubungan konsep diri dankecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi belajar biologi siswa kelas X IPA MAN 2 Model Medan TahunPembelajaran 2015/2016. Populasinya seluruh siswa kelas X IPA MAN 2 Model Medan Tahun Pembelajaran2015/2016 yang berjumlah 344 orang. Sampel ditentukan dengan Purposive Sampling, dimana sampelberjumlah 43 orang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif,dengan angket (kuesioner) sebanyak 34 butir angket konsep diri sedangkan 35 butir angket kecerdasanemosional sebagai alat pengumpul data penelitian dan tiga kali nilai ulangan biologi yang didapat dari gurubidang studi biologi. Dari hasil pengolahan data konsep diri siswa dikategorikan cenderung cukup yaitu padabatasan rentangan 102–109 sebanyak 17 siswa (39,53%) dan kecerdasan emosional siswa juga dikategorikancenderung cukup dengan batasan rentangan 93–104 sebanyak 20 siswa (46,51%). Dari uji persyaratan datadiketahui bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan namun positif antara konsep diri dan kecerdasanemosional terhadap prestasi belajar biologi siswa, sekalipun ada korelasi tetapi tergolong rendah yangditunjukkan melalui persentase koefisien korelasi dimana persentase kontribusi sebesar 3,24% untuk konsepdiri, 3,61% untuk kecerdasan emosional, dan 4,41% untuk konsep diri dan kecerdasan emosional terhadapprestasi belajar biologi siswa.Kata Kunci: Konsep Diri, Kecerdasan Emosional, Prestasi Belajar Biologi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Perbandingan Hasil Belajar Siswa dengan MenggunakanModel Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Make A Match dan Scramble pada Materi Pokok Sistem Ekskresi padaManusia di Kelas XI IPA MAN 1 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulanMaret – Mei 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen yang dilakukan kepada siswa kelas XI IPAMAN 1 Medan dengan melakukan pengajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Make A Match pada kelasEksperimen I dan model pembelajaran Scramble pada kelas Eksperimen II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa pengajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Make A Match dan Scramble dapat meningkatkan hasilbelajar siswa terhadap materi sistem ekskresi pada manusia. Untuk secara keseluruhan model pembelajaranMake A Match memiliki hasil yang lebih baik ( 1 ± SD1 = 87,56 ± 6,03) dibandingkan dengan menggunakanmodel pembelajaran Scramble ( 2 ± SD2 = 83,87 ± 7,720). Dari hasil rata-rata postes yang didapat pada kelasEksperimen I (87,56) dan kelas eksperimen II (83,87) dapat dilihat bahwa hasil rata-rata pembelajaranmenggunakan model Make A Match dan Scramble sudah mencapai nilai KKM (83). Hasil pengujian hipotesisdiperoleh thitung = 2,427 sedangkan dari daftar distribusi t dengan dk = 79 dan taraf signifikasi 5% (α = 0,05)diperoleh harga ttabel = 1,993 melalui interpolasi sehingga thitung > ttabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ada Perbedaan yang Signifikan Antara Hasil Belajar SiswaMenggunakan Model Pembelajaran Make A Match dengan Model Pembelajaran Scramble pada Materi PokokSistem Ekskresi pada Manusia di Kelas XI IPA MAN 1 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Kooperatif, Make A Match, Scramble, Sistem Ekskresi

Abstract

Information technology can not be denied that it has proved to be very large in the advancement and improvement of the quality of education in this country. Development towards e-learning education is a must for the quality standards of education can be improved because e-learning is a use of digital technology that can deliver a wide range of information in learning. The availability of hardware, software and other supporting facilities such as the internet network at the Faculty of Public Health University Muhammadiyah Aceh can be used as much as possible so that the transformation of education from the conventional learning system into a digital learning system by using e-learning is based on information technology.The design of this study was quantitative and qualitative research with action research approach. The subjects in this study purposive sampling determined by the number of 33 people consisting of elements of the leadership, faculty, and students. Instrument research include guidelines for in-depth interviews, observation guides, brainstorming guides, questionnaires, field notes and other devices in accordance with the development course of study. Has developed a digital learning system using the Dokeos. From the aspect of technology has been supported for the hardware and software. Overall the respondents have used e-learning system and no major obstacles. The results of the evaluation of the degree of ease of reaching the average value of 4.25 with a range from 4.18 to 4.36, the willingness of the average utilization reached a value of 3.89 with a range from 2.29 to 4.75 and also the willingness to support an average of value of 4.83 with a range between 4.39 to 5.0. Thus, it can be seen that the whole has a value above the median number = 3, which means the respondents felt a satisfaction which is felt by the high compliance is expected.Keywords: E-Learning, Dokeos Platform, Information Technology, Education
