Abstract

Cakupan pemberian ASI Eksklusif di Indonesia masih rendah, diantaranya disebabkan rendahnya pengetahuan ibu dan kurangnya kesadaran. Peran kader dalam kesehatan yaitu sebagai pelaku penggerakan masyarakat dalam peningkatan kesehatan ibu bayi. Masalah yang dialami kader yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan dan cara untuk melakukan monitoring pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada ibu menyusui. Media buku saku sebagai  motivator  keberhasilan pemberian  ASI pada ibu rumah tangga dan dapat digunakan untuk  meningkatkan pengetahuan kader.  Tujuan pengabmas ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kader serta dapat digunakan untuk memonitoring pemberian ASI secara Ekslusif. Sasaran pada pengabdian  masyarakat ini adalah ibu kader di Desa Sidomulyo yang berjumlah 37 orang. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat di lakukan di desa Sidomulyo. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada para kader dalam penggunaan buku saku sebanyak 2x pertemuan serta pembentukan kader sang motivator ASI Eksklusif. Evaluasi dilakukan pada hari ke-2 pengabmas dengan tes pengetahuan dan praktek melakukan monitoring pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Monitoring pengabmas dilakukan setiap bulan selama 3 bulan saat posyandu. Hasil : uji paired t-test menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan dengan nilai signifikan p=0.000 (p0.05) dan ada perbedaan ketrampilan kader sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan p=0.000 (p0.05). Simpulan : Ada peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kader dalam memonitoring pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Saran: kegiatan pengabmas bisa dilaksanakan secara kontinue agar kader dapat memberikan kontribusi langsung kepada masyarakat dalam memotivasi ibu untuk menyusui secara Eksklusif dan memonitoring pemberian ASI Eksklusif  sehingga ibu menyusui sukses memberikan ASI Eksklusif kepada bayinya.

Abstract

Postpartum blues iceberg phenomenon which is difficult in detection because people still think of psychological disorders is a natural thing as a mater-nal instinct and protective attitude towards her baby. The incidence of postpartum blues is quite high at 26-85% and continues with postpartum depression with varying amounts of 5-25% after the mother gives birth.            The purpose of this study to know is there any influence of IEC (Information Education Communication) preparation for labor on the incidence of postpartum blues.            The research method with quasi experiment with post test with control group which makes it possible to compare the results of sampling diberikan.Teknik intervention by total sampling.            Results showed that respondents with age healthy reproductive 33 respondents (83%), parity primiparous and multiparous same that 20 (50%), the level of elementary education (13%), middle (38%), high school / vocational (43%), D3 / S1 (8%), job: working mothers (38%), not working (62%), treatment groups: normal (80%), postpartum blues (20%), the control group: normal (45%), postpartum blues (55%). Bivariate analysis of these studies by Mann Whitney Test results obtained pvalue = 0.024 0.005, which means there is the effect of KIE childbirth and post-partum the incidence of postpartum blues            From the results of this study are expected health workers, especially midwives need to provide IEC in third trimester pregnant women about childbirth and postpartum in order to reduce the incidence of postpartum blues

Abstract

The scope of exclusive breastfeeding has not met the set targets. One of the benefits of papaya leaves is ASI Booster (ASI booster), because it can increase milk production and protein levels. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve knowledge and skills about ASI and the technique of instant papaya leaves. The design is the pre test and post test level of knowledge and skills. The material is delivered by lecture and demonstration methods. The evaluation was carried out after the practice of instant making of papaya leaves by carrying out a post test and evaluating the establishment of a banner on the description of instant papaya leaf products and their benefits as ASI smoothers and meeting forums in the village to check information desemination. Community service activities were conducted in 3 meetings. The first meeting was the delivery of material about ASI, ASI smoothing, the benefits of papaya leaves, the technique of instant papaya leaves. The second meeting was the training of instant papaya leaves in the Semarang Department of Health's Health Polytechnic Department, which was attended by 3 cadres of Karangjati Village. The third meeting was carried out to socialize and practice the instant making of papaya leaves in Karangjati Village to the people of Karangjati village. The participants who participated in the community service activities were 30 residents of Karangjati Village, Blora Based on the paired t-test, the Sig. (2-tailed) knowledge of 0,000 (<0,05) and skills of 0,000 (<0,05), then there is the effect of training on instant making of papaya leaves as breast milk booster to the level of knowledge and skills.This community service provides many benefits for participants, namely for cadres and community members. The real form is the increasing knowledge of breast milk and ASI smoothers with the instant making of papaya leaves.

Abstract

The mortality of infants can be affected by the nutritional status caused by infection. To avoid the risk of death and illness, breastfeeding is very important. The most important factor for breastfeeding is smooth milk production. Massage with the methoxy method can increase milk production based on baby weight indicators. The study aims to prove the effectiveness of massage using the methoxy method to increase milk production in post- cesarean section mothers. This study used a quasi-experiment with a non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The samples were 54 mothers with the post-cesarean section who were divided into 3 groups (the methoxy massage method, the marmet massage technique, and the control group were given breast care). The baby's weight was measured before and after intervention (day 7, day 14, and day 21). The data were analyzed using Repeated ANOVA, Friedman, Kruskal-Wallis dan Mann Whitney. The result showed that there was a difference in increasing breast milk production between the group with methoxy method massage and the marmet technique (p=0.001). The conclusion was massage with the methoxy method is more effective as its effect of 1.4 compared to the marmet technique in increasing breast milk production in post-cesarean section mothers.

Abstract

Background: The incidence of short toddlers or commonly known as stunting is one of the nutritional problems experienced by toddlers in the world today. The expected national stunting target in 2024 is 14%. The prevalence of stunting under five in 2022 in Blora Regency is 25.8%. This study aimed to analyze the determinants of stunting in children under five years in Blora Regency. Methods: This is an analytical survey with a case-control study design. The sample consisted of 140 toddlers (1-5 years old) selected by systematic random sampling. The sample in this study was divided into two, namely the case sample and the case sample control (70 children under five in each group). The subsequent nutrient status assessment was performed using the calculation of longevity indicator by Age (PB/U) or Body Height by Age (TB/U) based on z-score according to WHO. Chi-square and multivariable logistic regression were used to analyze. Results: Bivariate analysis showed that exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.000), the condition of the floor of the house (p=0.000), clean water sources (p=0.000), smoking family (p=0.000), family income (p=0.000), and meat/fish/egg consumption patterns everyday (p=0.000) have a significant relationship with the occurrence of stunting in toddlers. Meat/fish/egg consumption patterns everyday of toodlers was the most dominant risk factor, among the variables. The children (1-5 years old) who never consume meat/fish/eggs every day had 4.410 times the risk of experiencing stunting (95% CI = 1.372-14.177). Conclusion: Consumption of protein (meat/eggs/fish) every day is very necessary for toddlers to prevent risk factors for stunting.

Abstract

Objective: To prove the effect of cassava leaves jerky(Mannihot Esculennta) on prolactin hormone levels andbreast milk production in breastfeeding mothers in theWorking Area of the Rejosari Health Center of PekanbaruCity.Methods: This study used True Experiment Design with apretest and posttest design with the control group, usinga simple random sampling with a total of 28 breastfeedingmothers, 14 intervention group respondents, and 14 controlgroup respondents. The intervention group was givencassava leaves jerky 60 gr/day, and the control group wasgiven jerky without cassava leaves 20 gr/day for 2 weeks.Both groups were observed 3 times by weighing the baby'sweight and checking the level of the hormone prolactin afteradministering the intervention using the ELISA method. Dataanalysis using Mann-Whitney, TIndependent, RepeatedANOVA test.Results: There was a difference in the average differenceof prolactin hormone levels in the intervention group andcontrol group with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05)Conclusion: Giving jerky cassava leaves breast milk boosteraffects the hormone prolactin and breast milk production inbreastfeeding mothers.Keywords: breast milk production, cassava leaves, mannihotesculenta, prolactin.Abstrak Tujuan: Untuk Membuktikan dendeng daun singkong(Mannihot Esculennta) terhadap kadar hormon prolaktindan produksi ASI pada ibu menyusui di Wilayah KerjaPuskesmas Rejosari Kota Pekanbaru.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan percobaanyang sebenarnya dengan desain pretest and posttest onlywith control group, sampling menggunakan sampel acaksederhana dengan jumlah 28 responden ibu menyusui,14 responden kelompok intervensi, dan 14 respondenkelompok kontrol. Kelompok intervensi diberi dendeng daunsingkong 60 gr/hari, dan kelompok kontrol diberi dendengtanpa daun singkong 20 gr/hari selama 2 minggu. Keduakelompok diamati sebanyak 3 kali dengan menimbangberat badan bayi dan pemeriksaan kadar hormon prolaktinsetelah pemberian intervensi dengan metode ELISA. Analisisdata menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney, TIndependent,Repeated ANOVA.Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata selisih kadar hormonprolaktin pada kelompok intervensi 376,5 ng/ml, kelompokkontrol 103,5 ng/ml dengan p-value 0,000 (<0,05)Kesimpulan: Pemberian dendeng penambah ASI daunsingkong berpengaruh terhadap hormon prolaktin danproduksi ASI pada ibu menyusui.Kata kunci: daun singkong, mannihot esculenta, produksiASI, prolaktin.
