Abstract

PT. YYY is a company engaged in the production of antimosquito. The problems faced by the company is not ergonomic chair sorters. It’s height is not compatible with the work area (oven baking sheet) and doesn’t have a backrest. It resulted a risk in a working posture sorter. If allowed to continue, may lead to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). The research used qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative method with SNQ (standar Nordic quetionaire) and comfortable quetionaire. SNQ is used to know the pain in part of body as a resulted not ergonomic chair sorters. Quantitative method with measure body dimension of sorters and redesign chair’s sorter by antropometric approach. In antropometric approach, do some testing. That is : uniformity test, adequacy test, normality test, and percentile value determination. Shoulder breadth and sitting shoulder height was proceed by 95 percentil, while buttock-popliteal was proceed by 50 percentile.The samples used were as many 39 sorter employees. SNQ shows that employees have pain in someparts of their body such as hips and buttocks. The result showed that risk reduction of MSDs. Actual working posture get level 6 which indicate that chair improvement is important, while employees’working postures with redesigned chair get level 3. Level 3 showed risk reduction on employees

Abstract

Lighting as one of workplace environment factor affects the productivity of people. Initial observation at Printing Unit workplace of XXX Company indicated unsuitable lighting for existing jobs. Initial measurement of illumination level on several measurement points showed range from 34,3 lux to 195,4 lux, while standard of illumination level for kind of continuous and rough work listed on Health Minister Regulation No 1405 year 2002 is 200 lux. The impact of bad lighting indications led to a number of reject products passed the inspection session ranged from 2 to 11% per day on initial observation. In this research, illumination level measurement was performed along with observation towards reject products that passed the inspection session. Quantitative method is used on this research. The result shown that the average illumination level of workplace was 41,85 lux and the number of reject products that passed the inspection session reached 5-11% per batch. Changing the type of lamp and also adding a number of lamps were recommended to fulfill the standard of average illumination level. The recommended lamp said to be used is 16 units of energy-saving lamp type Master PL-L 4P80W. Maximum spaces between luminaires are 3,63m.

Abstract

The satisfaction of the community is a very important factor and determines the success of a business entity because the public are consumers of the products or services it generates. Problems found in the study are the complaints about the lack of visitors going to the Ministry as well as the facilities and infrastructure that are going on in Clinics XXX, so the impact on the number of visitors Clinics XXX. This study aims to analyze the quality of service provided to the public health center or community XXX and to determine the level of conformity between the performance of the Ministry of public health with the hope of Community importance or use of the service. Analysis tools are used is to use the community's Satisfaction Index (IKM). Community satisfaction (IKM) is calculated using the weighted average value of each item of service in accordance with the decision of the Minister for Administrative Reform No. 25 of 2004. The methods used to determine the level of conformity is a method of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The Research Community Satisfaction Index measurement (IKM) indicates the quality of the given services Clinics XXX still less well, based on the average value of the elements of each service unit at the clinic. Form comparisons between expectations and performance service levels, there are some elements that should be prioritized as elements of service, speed and discipline because in fact the community still feel lack of discipline employees of clinics in serving the community.

Abstract

One indicator of the financial performance of the Return On Investment and Return On Equity in PT Perkebunan Sumatera Utara tend to be experiencing a decline, but this does not automatically indicate the condition of the company are not optimal. The values ??of the financial ratios only indicate financial performance so that there is a tendency to ignore this aspect of non-financial, such as customer satisfaction, productivity, and cost-effectiveness process used to produce products and services, and empowerment, and employee commitment to delivering products and services for customer satisfaction. Performance measurement that takes into account the financial aspects and non-financial aspects are balanced scorecard still maintaining the traditional financial measures. The purpose of this study which analyzes the performance of PT Perkebunan Sumatera Utara comprehensive and can serve as the basis for long-term planning and to recommend steps that need to be done by the management of PT Perkebunan Sumatera Utara, so that the measurement results Balanced Socrecard can be implemented in improving company performance by considering four perspectives , The results showed that the first perspective learning and growth perspective shows an increase in the number of employees who attend training and development, increasing the ratio of the load of training and development as well as increased capital organization proven to increase customer satisfaction and employee motivation. In the perspective of both the internal business processes perspective shows PT Perkebunan Sumatera Utara able to create quality products. The third perspective which shows the customer perspective customers are satisfied with the quality of services provided by the company. Net profits are seen fluctuations, the average profit per customer and profitability per customer increased, while average operating expenses per customer declined. The fourth perspective of the financial perspective showed increased growth in revenue and net profit margin however decreased ROI.
