Abstract

This research was the replication research from Li and Lewis (2019) entitled “Understanding metaphor; problem for Chinese Readers”. This research aims to know students’ understanding on idiom by analyzing whether idioms affect sentence comprehension. The subjects were students in grade XI of SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung. The researcher took one class as the sample of 25 students randomly. This research was analyzed using descriptive statistic method. In collecting the data, the researcher used a test in the form of Westlife songs and task completing. The result showed that the students understanding in both literal meaning and idiom were still low, their average score was under 60. So, it is suggested to the teacher to be creative and give more guidance in teaching idiomatic material, since we know that idiomatic understanding is one of important knowledge, and for the students also have to upgrade their idioms understanding by practicing and using them in daily conversation.doi: https://dx.doi.org/10.23960/UJET.v10.i3.202109

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab sudah lama dilakukan di Indonesia, namun hasilnya belum sepenuhnya maksimal. Berbagai problem masih sering bermunculan dan hampir jarang terselesaikan. Problem tersebut dapat dilihat dari beberapa faktor antara lain para pengajar yang kurang kreatif untuk menggunakan model-model pembelajaran sehingga anak didik akan mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran khususnya pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Peneliti ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan Model Pembelajaran Terpadu dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Terpadu dan hasil Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Terpadu pada pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di SDIT Bina Ilmi Lemabang Palembang. Adapun perencanaan Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Terpadu yang dilakukan oleh guru yaitu Materi pelajaran yang akan diajarkan, Judul/tema mata pelajaran, Kelas atau kelompok yang akan diajar, Metode yang akan diterapkan, dan media yang akan digunakan. Tahapan Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Terpadu meliputi: Tentelaah, Eksplorasi, Rumuskan, Presentasikan, Aplikasi, Duniawi dan Ukhrowi. Sedangkan hasil Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Terpadu pada pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di SDIT Bina Ilmi Lemabang Palembang yaitu Penilaian pada proses pembelajaran, Penilaian harian, Penilaian semester. Abstract

Hadith studies have not only become the focus of Islamic scholars' attention, but have also become material for orientalist studies. So from this, there are many western scientists and scholars who chose the path of researching hadith. Starting from Ignaz Goldziher to leading scholars of hadith from Germany, Harald Motzki also graces the list of western scholars who are competent in the study of hadith. The long history of hadith in the west is evidence of the proliferation of hadith studies. In contrast to Muslims, western people study hadith departs from their distrust of hadith. Surely this is a different portrait of the traditions of the eastern people. Therefore, various theories and methods they used to justify that the hadith did not come from the Prophet Muhammad, but was made by people after him. This article is in the form of an attempt to explain at length the theory proposed by Joseph Schacht in order to undermine the authenticity of the hadith itself, and some of its weaknesses, which are based on the views of Islamic scholars'.

Abstract

Abstrak: Labelling merupakan pemberian cap atau julukan dengan mendiagnosis seseorang yang memiliki gejala-gejala perilaku tertentu dalam suatu mayarakat. Pemberian label biasanya didapatkan dari interaksi sosial. Labelling seringkali terjadi dalam keluarga ketika anak melakukan hal yang tidak dikehendaki orang tuanya. Labelling dapat berdampak pada konsep diri anak sehingga anak menjadi berperilaku seperti label yang diberikan kepadanya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji teori labelling dan dampak negatif dari labelling bagi perkembangan bakat dan kreatif anak. Penelitian ini dianalisis melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian library research yang sumber datanya diperoleh dari buku, jurnal-jurnal, artikel berita, makalah ilmiah, internet dan media sosial.Temuan penelitian menggambarkan bahwa labelling bisa menghambat perkembangan bakat dan kreatif anak. Dampak negatif dari efek labelling diantaranya dapat mengekang konsep diri anak, membatasi minat anak, dan menghambat cara orang lain memperlakukan anak.Kata Kunci : Labelling, Perkembangan Bakat dan Kreatif.

Abstract

The development of domestic chrysanthemum cultivation is still faced by several problems, including the limited supply of seeds so that production is not optimal, often the cultivated varieties are still imported, so they cannot compete in the global market. Efforts to reduce dependence on imported varieties, as well as increase the productivity and development of domestic chrysanthemums can be done through plant breeding, one of which is the induction of gamma ray mutations. Mutations have been carried out on various plants and have been proven to be successful in increasing genetic diversity to obtain superior varieties. Important characters in plants that need to be known are quantitative characters. From these characters the superior properties possessed by a variety or clone can be used as a consideration for further selection materials. This research was carried out in July – December 2021 at the IP2TP Cipanas Experimental Garden Protected House, the Ornamental Plant Research Institute. This study aims to obtain superior chrysanthemum clones based on quantitative characters and which have better appearance than the comparison varieties. The selected clones will later be used as prospective parents for seed sources as preparation for the registration of varieties resulting from plant breeding. The research method used was experimental method with Augmented Design which consisted of 47 mutated chrysanthemum clones and 3 comparison varieties, namely Puspita Nusantara, Arosuka Pelangi and Stangkon. The effect of the treatment was analyzed by variance, if the F test at 5% level had a significant difference, then to find out which treatment showed better results, it was continued with the LSI (Least Significant Increase) further test at the 5% level. The results showed that there were significant differences from the test clones in almost all the observed quantitative characters, except for the character of the length of the book, the width of the bunch at the widest point, the number of flowers/stalks and the width of the ribbon flower. Based on the LSI further test, several chrysanthemum clones were obtained which had better quantitative characters than the comparison varieties. The clones that have been selected can then be used as a basic reference for the selection of spray-cut chrysanthemums resulting from gamma ray mutations.

Abstract

Mushrooms are one of the agricultural commodities that have good prospects for development and cultivation. The purpose of this study is to compare the characteristics of the mangrove fungus (Volvariella volvaceae) in the straw growing medium of conventional harvesting methods and Combine Harvester. The research was conducted at the Merang mushroom barn in Pasir Buah Hamlet, Pasimulya Village, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency. In March–April 2023. The research method used the Single-factor Randomized Design (RAK) with 3 repeats. There are 12 treatments: A (Gebot 100%), B (Combine 100%), C (Trasher 100%), D (Gebot 50%+Combine 50%), E (Gebot 50%+Trasher 50%), F (Combine 50%+Trasher 50%), G (Gebot 75%+Jobotine 75%), F (Combine 50%+Tras 50%), G (Gebot 75%+25%), G (G) and 75%). The effect of treatment is analyzed by variety analysis and if the F test is 5% significant, then to find out which treatment is best to proceed with the DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) at 5%. The research results show that there is no real effect of some straw media using machines on Unsika's G4 Faperta isolates. The treatment of Gebot 75% + Combine 25% gave the highest yield on a single-heel conversion mushroom weight of 182.47 kg, and the average harvest intensity of a single growing season for 14.67 days. The 50% + 50% Gebot treatment gave the best value at the time of pinhead appearance of 6.0 days and a fruit body weight of 12.71g. The Gebot 75% + Combine 25% treatment gave the best results at 6.18cm in length and 4.99cm in fruit body diameter while the Gebot 75% + Trasher 25% treatment gave the best value at a per tray weight of 54.99g. Keywords:G4 Faperta Isolate, Straw Mushroom, Straw Harvesting Method

Abstract

Mushroom is one type of mushroom that is quite widely known by the people of Indonesia. This straw mushroom is included in the agricultural commodity of horticultural crops where the economic value is quite high. The current problems of mushroom cultivation are straw mushroom seeds, straw mushroom growing media, and rice straw harvesting techniques. The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics of the mushroom (Volvariella volvaceae) on straw media with different harvesting methods (gebot, combine¸ and trasher). The research was conducted in a farmer's straw mushroom house located in Pasir Buah Hamlet, Pasirmulya Village, Majalaya District, Karawang Regency. In November-December 2022. The research method used was a single factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 3 replications. There are 12 treatments, namely A (Gebot 100%), B (Combine 100%), C (Trasher 100%), D (Gebot 50% + Combine 50%), E (Gebot 50% + Trasher 50%), F (Combine 50% + Trasher 50%), G (Gebot 75% + Combine 25%), H (Gebot 75% + Trasher 25%), I (Combine 75% + Trasher 25%), J (Gebot 25% + Trasher 75%) K (Combine 75% + Trasher 25%), L (Trasher 75% + Combine 25%). The effect of treatment was analyzed by analysis of variance and if the F test at 5% level was significant, then to find out which treatment was the best, it was continued with the DMRT follow-up test (Duncan Multiple Range Test) at the level of 5%. There was a significant effect on the number of fruit bodies, body weight per fruit tray, and fruit body weight from the productivity test of G3 FP005 mushroom seeds with media combine 75% + trasher 25% can be used as a reference material for the growth of straw mushroom, because it has better results than other treatments for the growth and development of straw mushroom. Keywords:G3 Faperta Isolate, Straw Mushroom, Straw Harvesting Method

Abstract

Mushroom seeds are an important factor to determine the success of mushroom cultivation. The growth of straw mushroom on PDA media is influenced by the degree of acidity (pH). This research was conducted at the Biotechnology and Plant Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Singaperbangsa University, Karawang, located in Karawang Regency and start from April 2023 – May 2023. The research method used was a Completely Randomized Factorial Design. There are 2 factors consisting of 21 treatments. The first factor was the pH of PDA media which consisted of 3 levels, namely p1 (pH 6), p2 (pH 7) and p3 (pH8). Second factor was straw mushroom isolate which consisted of 7 levels, namely i1 (Parent P), i2 (Parent S), i3 (FP001), i4 (FP003), i5 (FP017), i6 (FP023) and i7 (FP024). Each treatment was repeated 3 times, resulting in 63 experimental units. The effect of the treatment was analyzed by analysis of variance at the 5% level and if it was significant to find out the best treatment it was continued with a DMRT at the 5% level. The results showed that there was an interaction effect between several F3 isolates of straw mushroom (Volvariella volvaceae) Faperta Unsika and different pH of PDA media on the diameter of mycelia colonies, mycelia growth rate and growth rate of mycelia. Treatment of PDA media with pH 8 and straw mushroom (Volvariella volvaceae) isolate Faperta Unsika FP003 gave the highest mycelial growth results with a mycelia colony diameter of 7 cm, a mycelia growth rate of 3.08 cm/day and growth rate of mycelia 2.58 cm/day.Keywords: Isolate Faperta Unsika, Mycelia, pH of PDA Media, Straw Mushroom

Abstract

Straw mushroom is one of the horticultural commodities that is in great demand by the community. The successful cultivation of straw mushrooms is determined by the quality of the seeds of the molten mushroom. Tissue culture is one of the efforts to get quality seeds. Quality seedlings are seen from the brood of the merang fungus and the quality of pure culture. Making pure culture is still constrained in making in vitro media, especially alternative media materials. This study aims to obtain the best results from the growth of G2 FP005 mycelia on alternative media materials in vitro. This research was conducted at the Biotechnology and Plant Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Singaperbangsa University, Karawang from April to May 2023. The research method used was a single factor Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 7 treatments and 5 replications: A (100% PDA); B (100% Charcoal Husk Solution); C (100% Husk Solution); D (80% PDA + 20% Husk Charcoal Solution), E (75% PDA + 25% Husk Solution), F (50% Husk Charcoal Solution + 50% Husk Solution); G (50% PDA + 25% Husk Charcoal Solution + 25% Husk Solution). The effect of the treatment was analyzed using variance and if the F test was significant at 1% level, then to find out which treatment was the best it was continued with the DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) advanced test at the 1% level of significance. The results achieved from this study were that there was a significant effect of using alternative media materials on the growth of the straw mushroom mycelia. Alternative media 80% PDA + 20% rice husk charcoal gave the highest mycelia colony diameter of 7.88 cm and the highest mycelial colony growth rate of 2,878 cm/day. Keywords: Unsika Faperta Isolate, Straw Mushroom, Tissue Culture.
