Abstract

Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga merupakan masalah yang serius dihadapi oleh Negara Indonesia. Masalah yang dahulunya dikenal dalam ranah domestik ini berdampak sangat buruk bagi korban yang mengalaminya apalagi terhadap korban yang masih berusia muda. Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga ini dapat terjadi antara orang tua dan anak, suami terhadap istri, ataupun istri terhadap suami dan terkadang pula melibatkan asisten rumah tangga. Negara Indonesia telah berperan dalam melaksanakan penghapusan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga ini dengan mengeluarkan produk hukum yakni Undang-Undang Nomor. 23 Tahun 2004 tentang PKDRT Adapun permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penulisan skripsi ini diambil dari Desa Bingkat dimana mayoritas masyarakat disana beragama Islam dan Tindak Pidana Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga marak terjadi, namun yang menjadi titik perhatiannya ialah pada Tindak Pidana Penelantaran Dalam Lingkup Rumah tangga yang merupakan salah satu bentuk Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga, dimana kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Bingkat mengenai Tindak Pidana Penelantaran Dalam Lingkup Rumah Tangga ini merupakan suatu kejahatan. Masyarakat Desa Bingkat cenderung tidak mengadukan perbuatan tindak pidana penelantaran dalam lingkup rumah tangga yang dialami. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah menggunakan penelitian hukum normatif serta didukung dengan penelitian hukum empiris. Yang dilakukan dengan penelitian kepustakaan dan penelitian lapangan melalui wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada kenyataannya Tindak Pidana Penelantaran Dalam Rumah Tangga marak terjadi pada masyarakat Desa Bingkat hal ini di latarbelakangi oleh faktor poligami, pengangguran musiman, narkotika, dan faktor yang berasal dari masalah intern keluarga. Dan dengan banyaknya kasus Tindak Pidana Penelantaran Dalam Lingkup Rumah Tangga yang terjadi, hanyak sedikit masyarakat yang mengadu Tindak Pidana tersebut baik kepada Lembaga maupun ke Kepolisian, hal ini dikarenakan faktor internal dalam diri masyarakat Desa Bingkat Kec. Pegajahan Kab. Serdang Bedagai yang berfikir bahwa Tindak Pidana tersebut merupakan aib dirinya dan mengadu kepada siapapun mengenai hal tersebut merupakan suatu hal yang tabu. Dan terdapat beberapa faktor eksternalnya dimana pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Bingkat yang masih awam akan hukum dan faktor budaya yang sangat kental. Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui faktor apa saja  yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar mahasiswa, apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara cara belajar, fasilitas belajar dan lingkungan belajar terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa, serta faktor mana yang paling berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 192 mahasiswa (FIP) UMJ angkatan tahun 2013-2015 yang aktif mengikuti perkuliahan. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode kuantitatif survey. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan  kuesioner dengan skala likert. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, dan analisis  Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbantuan program LISREL 8.3. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji Chi-square dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel cara belajar memiliki kontribusi yang paling besar, selanjutnya variabel kedua yang berkontribusi meningkatkan motivasi belajar adalah lingkungan belajar dan terakhir fasilitas belajar memberikan pengaruh yang paling kecil terhadap motivasi belajar. Jadi, variabel laten cara belajar dan lingkungan belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar dan fasilitas belajar berpengaruh negatif terhadap motivasi belajar.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to improve the learning of English with a speech variable using the TED Talks Application. The quantitative approach is the technique used in this research. The design used in this quantitative study is a quasi-experimental design, which utilizes a pre-test and post-test design culture. The population in this study was 20 grade XII students of SMK Muhammadiyah Parung, Bogor in the academic year 2020/2021. Pre-test and post-test data were analyzed using SPSS 25 version. The results of the study showed that the students pre-test score was 64.70 and after treatment, the students post-test score was 87.60. The results of this study also clarified that the t-test in the paired sample test in which tobtained was 28.56 and the crucial tvalue at significance level (p)=0.05 was 2.093, which means that t-test in which the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) accepted. The writer finding might summarize that the student’s post-test results are higher than the student’s pre-test results. In other words, the use of TED Talks is useful in the 12th grade of vocational high school for students who speak English.

Abstract

TIMSS 2011 and PISA 2012 results for mathematical communication skills of junior high school are considered low. One of eforts to increase their mathematical communication skills are using of problem solving method. Problem solving method gived opportunity for student to express of mathematic idea in coherent to their teacher or another students, so they can practice their mathematical communication skill. This case is the background for reasearcher to do some research in mathematical communication skill using problem solvig method. The purpose of this research is to increased mathematical communication skill of students. Type of this research is quasi experiment with nonequivalen control group design which is compare of control class with experiment class. Population for this reasearch are students second grade in junior high school 2 Pagedangan. Samples for this reasearch is students in VIII 5 class with 31 students as control class and students in VIII 6 class with 30 students as experiment class. In control class, learning activity using conventional method while in experiment class using problem solving method. Data in this research are collected with giving pretest question and posttest question as analysis question. Testing of hypotheses using with normality test and mann-whitney test. Result from this research are increased mathematical communication skill for students in experiment class which is used problem solving method are better tahn increased mathematical communication skill for students in control class which is used conventional method. Another result is positive attitude of students to mathematic learning used problem solving method.

Abstract

Abstrak:Kecakapan berbicara bahasa Inggris guru bahasa Inggris berperan penting dalam membantu peserta didik untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran bahasa tersebut. Teknik yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kecakapan ini harus diperhatikan oleh mahasiswa Program Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, dimana mahasiswa calon guru-guru bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji apakah oral presentasi efektif untuk pembelajaran kecakapan berbicara bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pretest/posttest dengan sampel 52 orang mahasiswa semester II Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta tahun akademik 2012/2013. Data dari hasil penelitian ini dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan dideskripsikan dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa oral presentasi efektif dalam pembelajaran berbahasa Inggris, karena hasil post-test baik dari segi isi materi paparan (content) maupun cara penyajian materi (delivery) lebih tinggi nilainya dibandingkan hasil pretestnya. Oleh karena itu, teknik oral presentasi ini menjadi alternatif pilihan teknik pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru bahasa Inggris pada pembelajaran berbicara bahasa Inggris.Kata kunci: berbicara, kecakapan berbicara, oral presentasi. Abstract:English teachers’ proficiency in speaking English plays a major role to help students achieve the objectives of learning English. The appropriate method to improve this proficiency should be taken into consideration by students in English department where they are prepared to become English teachers. This study is aimed to examine the effectiveness of oral presentation to improve students’ proficiency in speaking English. An experimental method applied in this study in which 52 students of second semester from English department in Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta in the academic year of 2012-2013 were chosen as the sample. The results of the study were quantitavely analyzed and described in percentages. The findings of the study show that students’ post-test results both in the content and delivery technique of the presentation were higher than those in the pre-test. It is hoped that this oral presentation is potential as an alternative technique for English teachers in teaching English speaking skill.Keywords: speaking, proficiency, oral presentation

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effectiveness of Facebook in students’ descriptive writing. The writer applied the pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test designs, and collected data based on the test. The data was analyzed statistically using SPSS 22. The sample of the research was the tenth grade students of SMK Bina Insan Tangerang consisting of 20 students. The sample was taken by using simple random sampling technique. The result of the calculation shows that the mean score of the students on the post-test is higher than on the pre-test. Where in the pretest students got 70.45 while in the post-test they reached 86.35. Based on the statistical calculation with the significance level of 5%, t-test (9.133) was higher than t-table (2.093). It means that there was a significant difference. Therefore H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It indicated that Facebook is effective in students’ descriptive writing.

Abstract

In foreign language and teaching in Indonesia, when teaching speaking, most of teachers employ the same strategy. The teacher must change the strategy to be applied to students in order to successfully in the learning process. By using Self-Regulated Learning Strategies can be used to make students improve their learning outcomes. Self-Regulated learning strategies were defined as the strategies used by speakers to control their level of fluency. This research purpose to develop of students’ speaking by using self-regulated learning strategies. The data of this research used Quantitative research method in pre-experimental design. The data sample techniques only used 10 grader BDP A of SMK Darul Ulum Depok, West Java. And the data analyzed used statistically by t-test. The results of this study presented that the mean of students’ pre-test 57.42 and post-test 75.45. The statistic calculation showed that the result of t-calculation (tcal) > t-table (ttable) was 19.040 for t-calculation (tcal) and 2.037 for t-table (ttable) at the significance level of 5% (0.05), indicating that tcal was greater than ttable. Hence, that the Null Hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the Alternative Hypothesis (H1) was accepted. Based on the result, it can be decided that using self-regulated learning strategies can develop to students speaking proficiency.

Abstract

NDT means testing without damaging the material or specimen. One of the NDT equipment that can be used to measure the thickness of the hull plate is the Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge (UTG). This tool uses sound waves that are reflected and received by the probe and converted to numerical data, the number is used to see the thickness of the plate material. The research purpose is identifying the thickness of tanker Tyche hull plate by Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge (UTG). Based on data from the Tyche hull shell opening table on the portside and sideboard the smallest test results are 9.7 mm. These results are still included in the tolerance because if the initial plate thickness is calculated from 12 mm – 2.4 mm, then the minimum acceptable thickness is 9.6 mm. If it is found that the plate thickness is below 9.6 mm based on the standards from the Indonesian Classification Bureau (BKI), the plate will be declared NG (Not Good) and the replating process will be carried out. Based on the test table, no UTG results were found which were below the standard plate thickness that had been set. Therefore, the Tyche tanker with the IMO code 8794891 is still feasible to operating and there is no need for a partial or complete replating process.
