Abstract

This research is an online media study about the phenomenon of ‘waria’ (transgender) people in Indonesia. Okezone.com reports about plans to make ‘Fiqh Waria.’ Fiqh is expected to be a reference for ‘waria’ to perform religious rituals in Islam. Islam has different laws between men and women. Research using Robert N. Entman's Framing Analysis. According to Entman, framing is a selection process that highlights aspects: problem identification, causal interpretation, moral evaluation, and action recommendations. The results of the study mentioned that in identifying the problem, it was reported about the plan to make a special jurisprudence called ‘Fiqh Waria.’ In causal interpretation, making fiqh is needed so that they can perform worship after gender changes. In moral evaluation, transgenders are considered to have the same right to perform worship rituals. In the recommended action, it was reported that if the fiqh would become religious jurisprudence that humanizes humans.

Abstract

This research discusses the dissemination of education policy by looking at the responses and insights of students, lecturers, and education staff at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar towards the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). The biggest challenge in implementing educational policies in higher education is the percentage of understanding of the academic community and their readiness to implement education policy packages implemented by the government. In this study, a qualitative method was used by using a case study at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. The data was obtained from the results of a survey to students, lecturers, and education staff conducted by the MBKM Grant Team of the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar through a survey platform and survey questions facilitated by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia starting on 18-22 December 2021. The results of the survey processed using the Nvivo application. There have been various responses regarding the Independent Learning-Kampus Merdeka Program and it can be concluded that the dissemination of the MBKM policy still needs to be maximized, because there are still many educators and students who do not know the nature of the policy.

Abstract

Perilaku komunikasi toxic friendship merupakan bagian dari proses komunikasi yang dialami oleh kalangan sesama mahasiswa. Pola komunikasi ini menggunakan bahasa yang tidak/kurang baik serta disertai dengan tindakan buruk. Hal ini memengaruhi perilaku komunikasi mereka, baik komunikasi secara verbal maupun nonverbal. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku komunikasi Toxic Friendship dengan teman sebaya melalui pesan verbal dan nonverbal dan Untuk mengetahui dampak perilaku komunikasi Toxic Friendship dengan teman sebaya pada mahasiswa Fisip Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yaitu peneliti berusaha mengungkapkan suatu realita atau fakta fenomena sosial. sumber data yang digunakan yaitu sumber data primer dan sekunder dengan  jumlah Informan sebanyak 10 orang mahasiswa. Teknik untuk memperoleh data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Proses analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kondisi yang dialami masing-masing mahasiswa dalam menanggapi stimulus yang diberikan toxic friends. Perilaku komunikasi toxic friendship yang dialami oleh mahasiswa Fisipol angkatan 2015-2016 Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar dominan mendapatkan bentuk komunikasi verbal dibandingkan dengan nonverbal, serta bentuk perilaku Toxic friendship yang dominan dialami beberapa mahasiswa yaitu        pengkritik dan tidak ada empati. Kemudian dampak yang dialami dominan merasakan kemarahan. Respon yang timbul yaitu beberapa mahasiswa memilih diam dan meninggalkan circle pertemanan tersebut adapula memilih bertahan dan membicarakannya.
