This study aims to determine the strategies and methods used by schools in improving the religious character of students at SMA Muhammadiyah Tanjung Redeb-Berau. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research; the data in this study were collected by observation, interview, and documentation techniques and then analyzed by data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions. The researchers concluded that the strategies adopted by the school in improving the religious character of students at SMA Muhammadiyah Tanjung Redeb-Berau, namely: 1) Strategies to increase students' religious character through planning, 2) Strategies to increase students' religious character through examples, 3) Strategies to increase students' religious character through habituation, and 4) Strategies to increase students' religious character through evaluation. To improve the religious character of students, schools need to carry out measurable and structured strategies. To produce the best results.
