Mathematics should be studied systematically and regularly and it must be presented with a clear structure, therefore an appropriate learning approach is needed. One approach to learning in mathematics is metaphorical thinking. This approach can encourage students to think metaphors to understand a mathematical concept. This study aims to determine the effect of the metaphorical thinking approach on understanding mathematical concepts. This type of research is experimental. Research subjects class VIII-E and VIII-F in MTs Negeri 2 Lamongan. The research instrument used to measure understanding of mathematical concepts in the material Surface Area of Flat Side Space is in the form of description. The results showed that students' understanding of mathematical concepts using the metaphorical thinking approach (experimental class) was better than students who used the deductive learning approach (control class). Data analysis used two independent samples t-test which showed a sig value of 0.011 <α = 0.05, then reject Ho. Thus the learning of mathematics in the material Surface Area Build Flat Side Space by using the metaphorical thinking approach affects the understanding of students' mathematical concepts

The problem that underlies the Augmented Reality-based teaching material development assistance program for teachers in remote areas is located in the gap in the progress of the quality of education between remote and urban areas caused by demanding access to cities, and the lack of knowledge and understanding of teachers in developing materials innovative teaching by utilizing current technological advancements. Community service activities aim to produce innovative teaching materials based on Augmented Reality at Muhammadiyah 4 Daun Vocational School and MTs Muhammadiyah 5 Daun Sangkapura, Bawean Island. Bawean Island is located 80 miles or 135 km north of Java. The geographical location and transportation conditions connecting Bawean and Gresik islands are the main obstacles for teachers on Bawean island to follow the development of science and technology which results in the low quality of the learning process so that it lags behind the development of information technology. Form of implementation of the program as a realization troubleshooting manifest in periodic and scheduled activities through a strengthening phase followed the concept of mobile learning needs analysis workshop, workshop material development, and implementation with the assistance of a team of stewards and continued application independently by the school in the implementation phase of using the steps Lesson Study as much as two cycles. The method used in the implementation of this activity is the method of discussion, workshops, and direct practice in class. Artikel ini mengulas berbagai penelitian yang signifikan dan beragam tentang penilaian dalam pendidikan matematika di Indonesia sebagai hasil dari perubahan kebijakan pendidikan di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian yang menjadi bahan kajian adalah periode sepuluh tahun terkahir 2011–2020. Dalam konteks pendidikan, penilaian dapat dirancang untuk menargetkan peserta didik, calon guru, atau guru, baik sebagai individu atau sebagai perwakilan kelompok, dan untuk berbagai tujuan. Salah satu tujuan utama penilaian dalam pendidikan matematika adalah untuk memberikan bukti yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat keputusan tentang pendidikan matematika, yang kemudian menimbulkan pertanyaan tentang aspek kompetensi matematika mana yang harus dinilai, serta bagaimana dan untuk tujuan apa. Artikel tinjauan ini membahas dua tema terkait: (1) masalah yang terkait dengan proses penilaian dan pengembangan penilaian yang dapat menilai kompetensi matematika secara valid; (2) isu terkait kebijakan pendidikan dan hubungan antara penilaian dan kebijakan. Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) has significantly impacted Indonesia. Social restrictions in Indonesia's major cities and rural areas have been put in place as the coronavirus spreads. The Indonesian government is more vigilant with the spread of COVID-19, namely by issuing a lockdown policy to PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions). Almost all Indonesian people have complied with the guidelines set by the government, namely carrying out all activities in a WFH manner to minimize the chain of distribution of COVID-19 in Indonesia. The author of this work forecasts the recovery rate of Covid-19 patients in the East Java region using the Cheng Fuzzy Time Series approach. After checking the simulation with real in the field, it can be seen that using 51 data starting from February 4 2021 to March 26 2021 gives results MAPE = 0.4602%, which means the forecasting is very accurate.©2021 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tetang penerapan media puzzle balok terhadap anak tunagrahitta ringan dalam memahami materi geometri khususnya materi mengenal bangun ruang sederhana dan mendeskripsikan tes hasil belajar peserta didik anak tunagrahitta ringan setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan media puzzle balok. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 anak peserta didik anak tunagrahitta ringan di Pusat Kajian Pengembangan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (PKPABK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik. Data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Dan untuk mendapatkan data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini, Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lembar observasi dan lembar tes hasil belajar. Hasil-hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah : (1) Lembar observasitentang penggunaan media puzzle balok materi geometri bangun ruang sederhana pada anak tunagrahitta ringan, sebagai berikut : a) HSB mampu menggunakan media puzzle balok dengan baik, hanya saja HSB terkadang masih kurang teliti dalam menyebutkan jumlah masing-masing pada unsur-unsur bangun ruang sederhana. b) MFDK mampu menggunakan media puzzle balok, hanya saja MFDK masih sering kurang teliti dalam menyebutkan nama-nama bangun ruang sederhana. c) AA mampu menggunkan media puzzle balok, hanya saja AA sering tergesah-gesah dalam menghitung unsur-unsur dari bangun ruang sederhana tersebut. d) UM mampu menggunakan media puzzle balok tanpa ada kendala atau kesulitan. e) MYZ mampu menggunakan media puzzle balok, hanya saja MYZ kurang mampu menulis nama bangun ruang sederhana dengan baik dan benar. (2) Ketuntasan belajar dapat tercapai karena lebih dari 50% yaitu 85%.

Teacher creativity and teaching effectiveness are two inseparable variables that affect student learning outcomes, this is the focus of this service activity. This service activity is proposed with 3 (three) things behind it, namely 1) evaluation of the results of the 2019 service, that 100% of teachers have implemented online learning; 2) the results of the team's experience in managing online learning at the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik; 3) The need to increase teacher competence in terms of developing HOTS-oriented innovative teaching materials, as demanded by 21st-century teachers. Based on these problems, through this PKM program, a solution is offered with the Assistance program to develop innovative HOTS-oriented teaching materials, which the team already has experienced very well in this area. The program is carried out through the stages of strengthening creative teaching concepts, workshops on developing innovative teaching materials oriented to HOTS, FGD validation of development results, then implementation with assistance from a service team and continued implementation independently by the schools.The result of this activity are 1) increased teacher understanding of creative teaching concepts; 2) produced innovative teaching materials' HOTS oriented; 3) teachers can implement innovative teaching materials' HOTS oriented independently

This study aims to: (1) produce a product in the form of appropriate and effective interactive learning media, (2) increase students' self-regulated learning. The subjects of this study were 30 students of class VII D UPT SMP Negeri 15 Gresik. This type of research is RnD and uses a 4D development model which includes define, design, development, and disseminate stages. The results showed: (1) the validation results obtained from the assessment by media experts and material experts were in the very appropriate category, and the effectiveness of the media was in the very positive category, (2) the level of self-regulated learning of students increased by 45% after learning. using interactive learning media based on the articulate storyline that has been developed. Thus, interactive learning media based on articulate storylines to improve self-regulated learning can be utilized to support the learning process.

The research was conducted with the aim of knowing mathematic learning with a realistic mathematics approach has an effect on the ability to understand students’ mathematical concepts better. Conducted using a quasi-experimental research type, the learning process applied involves two types of classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. PMR-based learning is used in the experimental class, while the control class is used for conventional learning. Considering that mathematics lessons cannot be separated from students' creative learning abilities, in addition to the posttest only control design in the form of a final test of understanding the concept of research instruments, such as learning creativity questionnaire sheets are also given to students. Using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) data analysis techniques with a probability value (significant) of 5%, it shows a positive influence which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the descriptive data obtained, it is known that the mean posttest learning outcomes in the experimental class (PMR) are greater than the control class (conventional), which illustrates the application of learning using PMR has a significant influence on the ability to understand mathematical concepts and learning creativity of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Babat.

This study aims to evaluate the knowledge of health students in Pancasila education with online teaching methods, namely zoom meeting and SPADA (Online Learning System). Health students are prospective health workers who will later be involved in the health profession. With humanitarian responsibilities that will be borne in the future, health students need to have cognitive abilities in the field of citizenship so that they can perform their professional performance in accordance with the integrity and applicable rules. The method used is semi-experimental by conducting two different learning methods on 116 health students at the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik. This research was conducted in januari - februari 2022. The results of this study indicate that the knowledge of health students related to pancasila education is in the good category. In addition, the results of this study indicate that there is no difference in Pancasila knowledge between health students using the Zoom Meeting and SPADA online learning methods.
