Abstract

Library accreditation is a procedure in order to evaluate all the activities of the organization of the library is measured based on the parameters specified quality standards. The standard is the benchmark measure of quality. Managing the college library-based accreditation means applying the concept of accreditation in the management of the library. There are nine components that need to be referenced accreditation based library management services, collaboration, collection, organizing library materials, human resources, building / space and infrastructure, budget, library management and collections care. Ninth aspect of this being used as a reference library management roadmap in order to realize the quality of the library.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam rangka mengkaji manajemen di enam perpustakaan PTKIN di jawa tengah dan Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei dengan jenis pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, display data dan penyusunan konklusi. Studi manajemen ini diharapkan dapat mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan manajemen di beberapa perpustakaan PTKIN. Kelebihan dari sebuah manajemen  dapat dijadikan masukan dan evaluasi bagi pengelola yang lain. Sedangkan kekurangan manajemen menjadi bahan evaluasi untuk pembenahan manajemen. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukan bahwa manajemen perpustakaan UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dianggap sangat baik untuk dijadikan sebagai benchmarking bagi perpustakaan lainnya baik setara universitas maupun institut. Manajemen perpustakaan IAIN Purwokerto dan perpustakaan IAIN Salatiga dapat dijadikan sebagai role model tentang pengelolaan perpustakaan setara institut. Manajemen perpustakaan IAIN Kudus menjadi contoh perpustakaan yang memiliki motivasi menuju perubahan. Manajemen perpustakaan IAIN Surakarta adalah contoh dari manajemen yang stabil yang perlu memaksimalkan potensi sumber daya yang ada. Perpustakaan IAIN Pekalongan adalah perpustakan yang kondusif yang jika digali potensi yang dimiliki akan lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

The Baitul Hikmah Library was recorded as a library owned by Muslims, which was established during the Abbasid Caliphate which was considered the first largest library to influence Muslim civilization in the field of science. The climax occurred during the caliph al-Ma'mun. Al Ma'mun is able to develop the Baitul Hikmah library with good management, and maximum one of them is through large financial support for research, paying professional librarians, paying for translation and even collaborating with experts from various fields regardless of religious background. As a result, Baitul Wisdom becomes a reference source of important information in various fields, ranging from the social, medical, mathematical, physical and philosophical fields. This is very interesting to be used as the knowledge of library managers at the moment, as well as being an important lesson material about the role of libraries in the development of intelligence and human civilization.

Abstract

EQ had a role to give a strong certainty. It would haveadvantage to understand the reality of emotion instantly, and make appraisal shortly, so that one can show will be distrusted, who have to trust, who will suffer. While AQ will give a horizon and a lot new of tools to decrease adversity and to increase some one’s qualities so they could face the continues change.EQ and AQ in developing of librarian profession will aid to self control and emotion management. By EQ and AQ will aid librarians able to manage self complexity, so it will bear intellectual, skill, behavior, leadership, good personality, smart, creative, progressive and broad horizon.
