Abstract

A pot experiments was conducted in September 2000 until January 2001 at Experimental Station of Faculty ofAgriculture, Udayana University. The experiment was arranged in Completely Randomized Design with treatmentsallocation in factorial with three replications. The treatments were : the first factors consisted of four rates of N,P,Kfertilizers: F1 = 300 kg Urea, 75 kg SP.36, 50 kg KCl ha-1 (1.2 g Urea, 0.3 g SP.36, 0.2 g KCl pot-1) ; F2 = 250 kgUrea, 50 kg SP.36, 25 kg KCl ha-1 (1.0 g Urea, 0.2 g SP.36, 0.1 g KCl pot-1) ; F3 = 200 kg Urea, 25 kg SP.36, 0kg KCl ha-1 (0.8 g Urea, 0.1 g SP.36, 0 g KCl pot-1); F4 = 150 kg Urea, 0 kg SP.36, 0 kg KCl ha-1 (0.6 g Urea, 0 gSP.36, 0 g KCl pot-1). The second factors were three kind of alternative fertilizers : Fr (Floran), Gn (Greener) andDg (Dekorgan) each rate 3 l ha-1 or 1.333 ml pot-1 (concentrations 3 ml l-1 water). The results indicated that theinteractions between fertilizers rates (N,P,K) with kind of alternative fertilizers were not significantly different forall variable observed. The alternative fertilizers not significantly different for all variable too but fertilizers rates(N,P,K) affected the fertile number of rice tillers and highly significantly affected to the available P and K in the soil. The treatment of 250 kg Urea, 50 kg SP.36, 25 kg KCl ha-1 gave the highest fertile tillers (37.00 tillers pot-1) andavailable P in soil (10.18 ppm) but the treatment of 300 kg Urea, 75 kg SP.36, 50 kg KCl was observed the highestavailable K in the soil. The combination treatment of 300 kg Urea, 75 kg SP.36, 50 kg KCl ha-1 with Dekorganproduced the highest rice yield (65.69 g pot-1) or 58.14 % higher than the lowest yield produced by combinationtreatment between 200 kg Urea, 25 kg SP.36, 0 kg KCl ha-1 and Dekorgan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the Pedagogical Competence of Class IV Teachers of SD Negeri 9 Dauh Puri and the ability of teachers to prepare RPP in the Learning Process by applying Academic Supervision. This type of research is school action research and involves 1 teacher at the Dauh Puri 9 Elementary School in the academic year 2016/2017.The data of this study include pedagogic competency data collected using worksheets for assessment instruments for the implementation of learning and the ability to develop learning implementation plans using planning instruments for learning activities. Furthermore, the data collected in this study was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that there was an increase in Pedagogic Competence and Ability to Arrange RPP. This is evident from the results obtained in the 1.70% cycle for preparing lesson plans and 73.33% for pedagogical competencies. From cycle I to cycle II it increased 100% for the preparation of RPP and 100% for pedagogic competencies. The conclusion obtained from this study is that academic supervision can improve the pedagogical competence of the teacher and develop a plan for implementing learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the agarwood producing fungal inoculant formulation that infect Ketimunan tree (Gyrinops versteegii DOMKE) effectively and resulted in high quality of agarwood. Randomized Completely Block Design was applied in this study with formulation of Fusarium solani and Rhizopus sp inoculant in liquid and solid form were combined as treatments. Treatments were: solid Fusarium solani inoculant, solid Rhizopus sp inoculant, mixture of solid Fusarium solani inoculant and solid Rhizopus sp inoculant, liquid Fusarium solani inoculant, liquid Rhizopus sp inoculant, mixture of liquid Fusarium solani inoculant and liquid Rhizopus sp inoculant, and mixture of solid and liquid of Fusarium solani and Rhizopus sp inoculants. There are three replicates for each treatment. Parameters measured were level of fragrance, agarwood color, and its resin content. The result showed that all formulations affected resin content significantly compared to control of agarwood. Mixture of liquid Fusarium solani and liquid Rhizopus sp inoculant showed the best quality agarwood with quality characteristics: brownish black or agarwood with black and brownish black color, very strong fragrance, and with 13.58% resin content.

Abstract

This study aims to find the most effective formulation of the gaharu agar wood forming fungi inoculantswhich infect Gyrinops versteegii plants, thus producing high quality agar wood. The method used inthis research is the randomized block design (RBD) with three replication. The treatments were twofungi as inoculant applied saperately each and a combination of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium sp. in theform of solid and liquid. The treatments tested were: (A) Fusarium solani fungi inoculant in solid form,(B) Rhisopus sp.fungi inoculant in solid form, (C) Mixture of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungiinoculants in solid form, (D) Fusarium solani fungi inoculant in liquid form, (E) Rhisopus sp.fungiinoculants in liquid form, (F) Mixture of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants in liquidform, and (G) A combination of solid and liquid of Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solani fungi inoculants. The parameters measured were the agar wood formed: agar wood fragrance level, color of agar woodand resin content of the agar wood. Furthermore, the data is analyzed statistically by analysis ofvariance. The results showed that, treatments of inoculants formulations significantly affects the aromaand resin content of agar wood. Formula of G (a combination of solid and liquid Rhisopus sp. andFusarium solani fungi inoculants) and F (a combination of liquid Rhisopus sp. and Fusarium solanifungi inoculants) produced agar wood of the highest quality compared to other formulas. Formula Gand F produced each agar wood with black and blackish-brown colour, with strong aroma (fragrance),and a resin content of 7.69% and 6.98%.

Abstract

Analysis of Relationship Between Crop Density and The Balancing of Both Soil Nitrogenand Phosporus in Verticulture System of Mustard Green (Brassica juncea L) and Kale(Ipomea reptana). The relationship between crops density and the balancing of both soilnitrogen and phosphorus in verticulture system remained to be important issue. A glasshouseexperiment had carried out from October 2014 to March 2015 in order to determine (1) theoptimum population density of both mustard greens (Brassica juncea L) and kale (Ipomeareptana), (2) soil total-N or available-P balance, and (3) the relatiohships between plantspopulations and soil nutrients balance. A split plot experiment under complete block designwas applied to examine the effect of the main plot (crops type i.e. mustard green and kale) andsub plot (crops population i.e 10, 15, 20,25, and 30 crops per planting container 0,12 m2 insize). The results showed that no optimal crops population density had achieved. Themaximum crops population was 30 for both mustard greens and kale. The soil total-N balancewas negative while these was positive for soil available-P balance of P and N negative. Alogarithmic relationships was calculated between soil total-N balance with mustard green, while linier patterns were significant for soil-N balance with kale and available-P balancewith both mustard greens and kale.
