Abstract

Background: Ovarian stimulation is part of assisted reproductive technology (ART) process, which aims to spur the growth of follicles to be developed, so that it will increase the chance of getting pregnant. LH surge cause the final follicular maturation, ovulation and becoming corpus luteum. So that an increase in LH may adversely affect the development of the follicle and eventually affect in-vitro fertilization.Objective To determine the effect of basal LH hormone to follicles on the stimulation of ovarian.Method: Cohort Retrospective. Research Location: Permata Hati Clinic of Sardjito Hospital, YogyakartaResult dan Discussion: The study included 70 cycles of 70 women who underwent ovarian stimulation for in-vitro fertilization and fulfill inclusion and exclusion criterias. The subjects were divided into 2 groups based on basal LH hormone levels i.e. LH ≤ 3 mIU/ml as the test group and LH >3 mIU/ml as the control group. From analysis, response to ovarian stimulation in group with LH ≤3 mIU/ml was significantly different than LH >3 mIU/ml (RR 1,875; 95% CI 1,275–2,757; p=0,00*).Conclusion: Low level of basal LH (≤ 3 mIU/ml) generating fewer number of mature follicles in patients who performed ovarian stimulation in in-vitro fertilization program.Keyword: basal LH, ovarian stimulation, in-vitro fertilization.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Implikasi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Melalui Budaya Organisasi Dan Motivasi AbstrakKinerja karyawan ditentukan kepemimpinan dalam organisasi. Salah satu kepemimpinan yang dapat mendorong kinerja karyawan adalah kepemimpinan transformasional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui variabel budaya organisasi dan motivasi. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 77 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakanpath analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepemimpinan transformasional tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan secara langsung. Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan secara tidak langsung melalui variabel motivasi. Sedangkan, kepemimpinan transformasional tidak berpengaruh terhadap terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui variabel budaya organisasi. Hasil penelitian memiliki implikasi manajerial, yakni untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan perlu mengoptimalkan peran kepemimpinan yang mendorong motivasi kerja karyawan. A Transformational Leadership, It’s Implication on Employee Performance through Organizational Culture and MotivationAbstractThe employee performance is determined by a leadership in an organization. One of leadership that can increase the employee performance is a transformational leadership. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of transformational leadership on employee performance by organizational culture and motivation variables. The total samples in this study is 77 persons. The technique of data collecting uses questionnaire. The data analysis uses path analysis. The result of this study shows that the transformational leadership does not influence directly the employee performance. The transformational leadership influences indirectly the employee performance through motivation. Whereas, the transformational leadership does not influence the employee performance by organizational cultural variable. The result of the study has managerial implication, that is for improving the employee performance it necessarily optimizes the leadership role for forcing the working motivation of employees.
