Abstract

SMP Negeri 30 Semarang merupakan sekolah yang menerapkan pendidikan multikultural, sehingga perlu dikaji lebih mendalam mengenai implementasi pendidikan multikultural dalam pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Implementasi pendidikan multikultural dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 30 Semarang diawali dengan perencanaan pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran bersifat terbuka, demokratis, berpusat pada peserta didik yang menekankan pada kesetaraan dan keadilan peserta didik serta menghargai masing-masing individu. Evaluasi pembelajaran mengarah pada kognitif, efektif dan psikomotorik dengan menggunakan instrumen sendiri dalam menilai sikap multikultural. (2) Faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan multikultural yaitu lingkungan dan iklim sekolah, materi dan metode pembelajaran, progam dan kegiatan sekolah, ekstrakurikuler (bakat dan minat), serta keasadaran peserta didik. Faktor penghambat dalam yaitu keterbatasan materi IPS tentang keragaman, keterbatasan media tentang keragaman, masih terdapat beberapa peserta didik yang mengejek temannya, minimnya papan-papan maupun tulisan tentang keragaman. This study used qualitative research methods. The results showed that: (1) The implementation of multicultural education in social studies learning at SMP Negeri 30 Semarang begins with lesson planning. The implementation of learning is open, democratic, student-centered which emphasizes the equality and fairness of students and respects each individual. Learning evaluation leads to cognitive, effective and psychomotor by using their own instruments in assessing multicultural attitudes. (2) Supporting factors in the implementation of multicultural education, namely the school environment and climate, learning materials and methods, school programs and activities, extracurricular activities (talents and interests), and the awareness of students. Inhibiting factors are the limitations of social studies material on diversity, media limitations on diversity, there are still some students who mock their friends, the lack of boards or writing about diversity

Abstract

Background: Prognostic factors for ovarian cancer include residual tumor and chemotherapy response, but these parameters are not sufficient to predict ovarian cancer prognoses. A new approach such as mGPS that use a combination of CRP and albumin can be used to assess an inflammatory response. With mGPS, an elevated CRP value and hypoalbuminemia are poor prognosis. Objective: To investigate the effect of mGPS on histopathologic staging and grading of ovarian cancer.Method: The study design was a cross sectional study. The population of this study were patients with suspected ovarian cancer who underwent laparotomy surgical staging at RSUP Dr. Sardjito. The samples were patients with suspected ovarian cancer that have examined the hs-CRP level and albumin level preoperative,then underwent laparotomy surgical staging with histopathological results epithelial ovarian cancer. Data were analyzed using Chi Square test and logistic regression.Results and Discussion: there were 57 subjects with epithelial ovarian cancer consisting of 25 subjects (43.86%) with high mGPS and 32 subjects (56.14%) with low mGPS. The value of mGPS is associated with the stage of ovarian cancer (p = 0.000; RP = 4.000 CI 95% = 2.195 – 7.289). The results of the multivariate analysis showed that the most important factor in determining the stage was mGPS (p = 0.000; RP = 3.818 95% CI = 1.544-6.092). While the most important factor in determining histopathologic grading of ovarian cancer was the type of ovarian tumor (p = 0.000; RP = 7.339 95% CI = 4.960-9.718).Conclusion: There was an association between mGPS and the stage of ovarian cancer. The histopathologic grading was not influenced by mGPS, but was influenced by the type of ovarian tumor.Keywords: mGPS; Stage; Histopathologic grading; Ovarian Cancer; Epithelial Type

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang kiprah Partai Golkar Kabupaten Sinjai pasca kekalahan pada Pemilu 2009. Kiprah partai politik didasarkan pada upaya partai untuk membentuk opini dan wacana publik dalam rangka mencitrakan diri di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Dengan kondisi Partai Golkar Kabupaten Sinjai yang mengalami penurunan suara yang signifikan dalam pemilihan umum Tahun 2009, dibutuhkan upaya partai untuk kembali membangun kepercayaan masyarakat. Salah satu upaya pencitraan partai politik adalah dengan mengenalkan simbol-simbol partai secara kelembagaan di masyarakat. Pengenalan simbol-simbol ini dapat melalui kiprah partai dalam politik di tingkat lokal serta kiprahnya di dalam masyarakat. Sehingga dengan itu, akan menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat akan keberadaan partai tersebut. Pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat tersebut tidak hanya sebatas pada figur-figur tertentu di dalam partai, tetapi masyarakat memahami partai tersebut berdasarkan ideologi, program dan visi misi partai secara kelembagaan.
