Abstract

Adequate water availability in irrigation systems is an important factor in the success of irrigation agriculture, including Sungai Tabuk irrigation system which land is planted with rice paddy, fields rice paddy and crops. The availability of water in Kecamatan Tabuk River was calculated by dependable flow analysis using flow data from Mock method calculation. The model of rainfall-flow relationship with the monthly interval used was Mock Method, and 80% dependable flow was used to calculate the availability of the irrigation water. Based on the rainfall and evapotranspiration data (Mock method) in irrigation system of Sungai Tabuk area, the average flow per year of 5.758 m3 / sec obtained. With the highest flow occurred in March of 9.405m3 / sec and the lowest flow was in September at 1.616 m3 / sec. The 80% dependable flow was an average of 3.504 m3 / sec with the highest 80% of the highest dependable flow recorded in February of 7.37 m3 / sec and the lowest flow was in October which 80% flow was 0.24 m3 / sec. The calculation of irrigation water needed was based on KP-01. The calculation results showed that the average water demand was 2.690 m3 / sec with the beginning of planting on December I by using ordinary rice-ordinary rice planting pattern; while the average water demand for crops was 0.029 m3 / sec. From the analysis, the availability of irrigation water of Sungai Tabuk (average value of 3,504 m3 / sec) can fulfil the irrigation water requirement (average value of 2,690 + 0,029 = 2,719 m3 / second).

Abstract

Abstract Barito Kuala Regency is one of the district governments that borders the provinces of Central Kalimantan and South Kalimantan, Indonesia. During the rainy season at the time of the tide of the Kapuas River, the Barito River and consignment water from Banjar Regency, which is directly adjacent to Mandastana District, can overwhelm most of this area and result in continuous inundation of the land surface. The problem experienced by the field in Mandastana Subdistrict is a problem that affects water management related to irrigation channels in agriculture itself which experiences tidal water, which moves up and down caused by tides on the Barito River and Kapuas River, where at the time of tide the area rice fields experience excess water. The calculation method used in this study is the mock method for calculating the mainstay discharge and water balance and penman method and the KP-01 standard for calculating water requirements. Based on the analysis of water balance (availability of water from rainfall minus water requirements under existing conditions) obtained results of 3.017 m3 / sec, so that the paddy fields occur excess water, so if you want to expand rice fields the availability of water is still sufficient to irrigate water in the fields.

Abstract

Abstract Telaga Langsat Irrigation Area, Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan with an area of 3044.8 Ha, is functioned to be able to irrigate agricultural rice fields with technical irrigation, in recent years there needs to be a review of the distribution of water which is only functioning but not optimal, base on data of the left Telaga Langsat, it is only served 1264,45 Ha in a discharge is 2,231 m3/sec (Ikrimathus. S, 2013).. Moreover, from its development since 1989 until now it is more than 30 years old, using the 1986 Planning Criteria (KP). The aim of this research is to modify and recalculate the discharge of water needs based on the Irrigation Regulatory Standard (KP) of 2013, with research methods including primary and secondary data as well as data processing based on these regulations. The results show that the existing discharge is 5397 liters / second and the modified discharge is 5652.49 liters / second, so there is a difference of 255.49 liters / sec. The area of tertiary compartments should be reduced, ideally 50 ha, in certain circumstances can be tolerated up to 75 ha, which is adjusted to topographic conditions so that the implementation of operation and maintenance is easier. There are several tertiary plots that have been simulated with modification, by dividing the area of the original tertiary plot and adding new tertiary plots that allow for even distribution and fulfillment as needed
