Abstract

The process of building a platform is a process that consists of various stages, there is a focus of work and requires different preparation, but until now there has been no awareness in utilizing data and information sources that have been available to be used as a basis for developing or creating a platform that is able to improve quality a system of integrity. For this reason, a Platform as a Service (PaaS) architecture was built which provides application development services to process data and information obtained from practicum activities during the lecture period based on cloud computing using the Service Oriented Architectural (SOA) method. The API gateway is used as middleware system. The results of the implementation and analysis carried out prove that the architecture using the API gateway as a built-in middleware can be considered to develop the Telkom University lab service system. Although there are adjustments to resources and needs, but the purpose of this architectural development has generally been realized. From the results of tests performed on a platform architecture that uses a gateway API, it produces RTT 2.081 seconds, 45 MB memory, and 8% CPU for each user in 100 users.

Abstract

The tourism sector is one of the country's most significant sources of income, especially in Indonesia. This is inseparable from many visitors or foreign tourists who come to Indonesia. Bandung is a tourist destination that is famous for its natural beauty and traditional culture, one example is in Desa Alamendah which has several tourist destinations, namely agro-tourism, nature tourism, and cultural tourism. However, access that can be passed from every tourist spot in Desa Alamendah can only be given on foot or by bicycle. Responding to this matter, bicycle facilities as a means of rotation are needed to access tourist attractions in Desa Alamendah. Based on these problems, this study aims to create a recommendation system for tourist attractions and bicycle rentals using an application in Desa Alamendah, Bandung. Using the Genetic Algorithm, an algorithm that can solve multi-objective problems can be applied to a tourist spot recommendation system in Desa Alamendah. In this system, the Genetic Algorithm is also used to determine fares based on the total distance traveled, so that bicycle rentals are more efficient. The study combines Google Maps as an appropriate route selection based on the recommendation of tourist destination points that tourists can visit using Genetic Algorithms, so that bicycle rentals are more efficient. Based on the results of tests that have been carried out in the process of forming tourist attractions recommendations with a Genetic Algorithm that using mutation probability 1.0 and Crossover Probability 0.6, can produce a Mobile Application with a Genetic Algorithm as a tourist spot recommendation system in Desa Alamendah. In addition, it also can provide recommendations, namely displaying tourist points, route using Google Maps. The rental fee is based on the total distance traveled.

Abstract

Information is a very important thing from time to time. Lighting is needed by humans to support their daily activities. The problem of the lighting sector today is energy efficiency which is still not resolved. Where the use of electricity for lighting is still using old technology that is not environmentally friendly and costs a lot of money per month. One of the concepts of IoT, namely smart lighting, emerged as a solution to overcome problems in the lighting sector. However, the current smart lighting still requires a direct power source from the government (PLN), In addition, sectors such as tourist attractions in rural areas still need to be considered because there are still many areas that do not have a power source that can be used for street lighting. the tourist attraction. So we need a smart lighting technology that can produce its own power source to reduce the electricity costs that must be incurred. This study aims to build a tool or device that can manage and optimize the energy expended by building an IoT device using a piezoelectric sensor as the main material to generate an electric field that will produce electrical energy for lighting or lighting in rural tourist destinations and using fuzzy algorithms. Mamdani logic is a determinant of the intensity of the light obtained from the light sensor on the IoT device. The overall results of the system that has been built can work properly and the Mamdani fuzzy algorithm can be used properly with an accuracy of 93% power saving at the time of testing. In addition, the monitoring system built is also following the data obtained from the system. The suitability between the fuzzy system and Matlab as a whole is in accordance with the value of 100%

Abstract

The use of online platforms in cultural exchange is something new, so everyone has a different level of readiness. Therefore, a review is needed to determine a person's level of readiness to accept technology. In line with the existing problems, this study was made to measure the level of readiness to adopt technology. This study selects a case study of online platform technology in cultural exchange. The measurement method used in this study uses the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) model. This study used 8 official staff of the Indonesian Embassy in Quito as the sample. Research data collection is done by distributing questionnaires. After the data is collected, data analysis is carried out using the TRI value test. From the TRI test, the value is 3.49, where the value is categorized at the Medium Technology Readiness level. In the TRI model, the level of readiness is categorized as Medium Technology Readiness if the TRI value is between 2.90 to 3.51. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the official staff of the Indonesian Embassy in Quito are ready to implement cultural exchange with an online platform, because the level of readiness is in the Medium Technology Readiness category.

Abstract

Delivery of justice with the help of artificial intelligence is a current research interest. Machine learning with natural language processing (NLP) can classify the types of sexual harassment experiences into quid pro quo (QPQ) and hostile work environments (HWE). However, imbalanced data are often present in classes of sexual harassment classification on specific datasets. Data imbalance can cause a decrease in the classifier's performance because it usually tends to choose the majority class. This study proposes the implementation and performance evaluation of the synthetic minority over-sampling technique (SMOTE) to improve the QPQ and HWE harassment classifications in the sexual harassment experience dataset. The term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) method applies document weighting in the classification process. Then, we compare naïve Bayes with K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) in classifying sexual harassment experiences. The comparison shows that the performance of the naïve Bayes classifier is superior to the KNN classifier in classifying QPQ and HWE, with AUC values of 0.95 versus 0.92, respectively. The evaluation results show that by applying the SMOTE method to the naïve Bayes classifier, the precision of the minority class can increase from 74% to 90%.

Abstract

Pengelolaan Desa Wisata Alamendah diserahkan pada kelompok pemuda desa yang terbentuk pada tahun 2019. Namun, hingga saat ini pengelolaan belum dilakukan secara optimal. Desa Alamendah memiliki banyak sekali titik wisata yang berpotensi mendapatkan banyak pengunjung, namun informasi potensi ini tidak dapat diakses dengan mudah oleh publik. Selain itu, banyaknya titik wisata di Desa Wisata Alamendah pun belum tergambarkan, sehingga sulit untuk benar-benar mengidentifikasi letak titik wisata. Permasalahan yang diangkat ini sangat berpengaruh pada potensi kedatangan pengunjung yang pada akhirnya pun sangat memperngaruhi pergerakan dan pertumbuhan perekonomian Desa Wisata Alamendah. Untuk itu, tim kami menawarkan solusi berupa pembuatan travel guide platform yang memberikan informasi berbasis peta untuk mendorong pertumbuhan perekonomian berkelanjutan Desa Wisata Alamendah

Abstract

Sekemala Integrated Farm (Sein Farm) merupakan bagian dari Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Pembibitan Tanaman Pangan, Hortikultura, dan Peternakan,  Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian (DKPP) Kota Bandung yang memiliki fungsi sebagai laboratorium umum (masyarakat) untuk kegiatan urban farming. Salah satu kegiatan urban farming adalah budidaya ikan dalam biofloc. Sein Farm memiliki biofloc sebanyak 55 unit untuk budidaya ikan tawar. Menjaga kualitas air dalam biofloc memiliki peran yang sangat krusial dalam keberhasilan budidaya ikan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi Sein Farm dalam budidaya ikan di biofloc adalah dengan keterbasan jumlah karyawan dalam kegiatan operasional sehari-hari untuk menjaga kualitas air. Integrasi teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dan Artificial Intelligence (AI) memberikan solusi untuk otomatisasi kegiatan akuakultur termasuk untuk menjaga kualitas air, yang juga dikenal sebagai smart aquaculture. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tim dari Fakultas Informatika Universitas Telkom membangun, menerapkan, melakukan alih teknologi, dan mengukur penerimaan solusi berbasis smart aquaculture kepada 16 pegawai operasional di Sein Farm. Dari hasil kegiatan tersebut, tujuan dari kegiatan masyarakat berhasil capai, yaitu berhasil membangun dan menerapkan smart aquaculture di Sein Farm, melakukan pelatihan untuk pengoperasian sistem, dan melakukan survey untuk penerimaan teknologi. Hasil dari survei menunjukkan 95% menjawab “setuju” dan “sangat setuju” terhadap penerapan smart aquaculture dalam membantu kegiatan operasional untuk menjaga kualitas air dalam budidaya ikan di biofloc.

Abstract

As a company engaged in the field of information technology, problems with information leakage, data loss, and so on can pose detrimental threats, so a security standard is needed to prevent information security leaks from occurring. So the standard raised in this research is ISO 27001:2013. The method used in this research is interviews and observations of related employees and documents at PT. XYZ, the stages in this study refer to the standards in ISO 27001:2013. Currently, the company where this research was conducted does not yet have standards in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013. Furthermore, this research is expected to improve the security system and also prevent security data leaks at PT. XYZ. As well as make recommendations or suggestions from the research results.Keywords: ISO/IEC 27001:2013; Information Security; Data Leak AbstrakSebagai perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang teknologi informasi, permasalahan kebocoran informasi, kehilangan data, dan lain sebagainya dapat menimbulkan ancaman yang merugikan sehingga dibutuhkanlah suatu standar keamanan untuk mencegah terjadinya kebocoran keamanan informasi. Maka standar yang diangkat pada penilitian ini yaitu ISO 27001:2013. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian kali ini adalah wawancara dan observasi terhadap pegawai terkait dan dokumen pada PT. XYZ. Tahapan pada penelitian ini merujuk dengan standar yang ada pada ISO 27001:2013. Saat ini perusahaan tempat penelitian ini dilakukan belum memiliki standar yang sesuai dengan ISO/IEC 27001:2013. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan sistem keamanan dan juga dapat mencegah kebocoran data keamanan pada PT. XYZ. Serta membuat rekomendasi atau saran dari hasil penelitian.
