Abstract

Tujuan penelitian dilakukan yaitu menghasilkan profil analisis kebutuhan siswa tentang literasi sains yang melibatkan strategi graphic organizers for science untuk membangun sikap ilmiah pada siswa SD kelas tinggi dan menghasilkan prototipe bahan ajar literasi sains untuk membangun sikap ilmiah siswa SD. Penelitian ini dilandaskan dengan permasalahan tentang rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains anak Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian dapat dicapai dengan metode penelitian mixed method dengan jenis pengembangan Plomp. Langkah pengembangan Plomp, yaitu: preliminary research, prototyping phase, dan assessment stage. Hasil penelitian pada tahap preliminary research, yaitu: terkajinya analisis profil kurikulum, analisis profil karakteristik siswa, dan analisis profil kebutuhan siswa. Ditemukan bahwa siswa SD cenderung membuka buku pelajaran apabila dalam proses pembelajaran dan mereka menyukai warna merah untuk buku. Namun, mereka kesulitan dalam hal menumbuhkembangkan sikap ilmiah. Sedangkan pada tahap prototyping phase dihasilkan prototipe bahan ajar literasi sains dengan menggunakan strategi graphic organizers for science untuk membangun sikap ilmiah siswa SD yang sudah valid. Prototipe bahan ajar literasi sains siap untuk diujicobakan.

Abstract

Tujuan pengembangan Lembar kerja siswa (LKS) yaitu menciptakan sebuah LKS tematik yang mencakup empat keterampilan berbahasa dan meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru dalam merancang proses pembelajaran dan menjadikan LKS tematik ini produk khusus pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Untuk mengembangkan LKS peneliti mengunakan model 4D meliputi: "Tahap pendefinisian yaitu Analisis kebutuhan, analisis kurikulum, dan analisis Siswa; tahap Perancangan yaitu Penyusunan Tes kegiatan lesson study mulai dilakukan yaitu perencanaan, uji coba atau LKS digunakan siswa, kemudian dilihat; Tahap Pengembangan dilakukan setelah lesson study, selanjutnya penyebaran dilakukan di dua  sekolah dasar. Hasil yang diperoleh guru mampu menciptakan LKS tematik bahasa Indonesia yang valid dan  praktis pada kegiatan lesson study sehingga LKS tematik bahasa Indonesia ini dapat dinyatakan valid dan paktis digunakan di kelas V sekolah dasar khusus pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia  tema 1. The purpose of Student worksheet development (LKS) is to create a LKS that includes four language skills and improves the professional competence of teachers in designing the learning process and making this thematic LKS a learning-specific product Indonesian language. To develop LKS researchers using models 4D include:  "The definition of necessity analysis, curriculum analysis, and student analysis; Planning phase is the test preparation activity lesson study started to be done planning LKS used students, then seen; The development stage is done after the lesson study, then the spread is done in two elementary schools. The results obtained by the teacher was able to create a valid and practical LKS Indonesian language Thematic in the lesson study so that the Indonesian thematic LKS can be declared valid and the Paktis used in class V elementary School language learning Indonesia Theme 1

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is a type of development research (Research and The Development) which aims to produce poetry writing teaching materials using various valid creative techniques used in learning to write poetry. Based on the development activities and the results of the teaching material validation, it was concluded that the poetry writing materials using various creative techniques were declared valid and suitable for use in poetry writing learning in grade IV elementary school. Overall, the requirements for developing teaching materials have been fulfilled in the development activities carried out. Based on the validator's assessment of the aspects of content, language, presentation, and graphic feasibility. Teaching materials as a whole are suitable for use in an effort to improve students' skills in writing poetry. Keywords: Literacy, Teaching Materials  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and The Development) yang bertujuan menghasilkan bahan ajar menulis puisi menggunakan berbagai teknik kreatif yang valid digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi. Berdasarkan kegiatan pengembangan dan hasil validasi bahan ajar, disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar menulis puisi menggunakan berbagai teknik kreatif dinyatakan valid dan cocok untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi di kelas IV SD. Secara keseluruhan, persyaratan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar telah terpenuhi dalam kegiatan pembangunan yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan penilaian validator tentang aspek kelayakan konten, bahasa, presentasi, dan grafik. Bahan ajar secara keseluruhan sesuai untuk digunakan dalam upaya meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis puisi.Kata Kunci: Literasi, Bahan Ajar

Abstract

This research was conducted as the student’s skill in writing descriptive texts in the second grade of SDN 07 Teladan Kota Bukittinggi was still low is because teacher lack an understanding of the step to write a good descriptive. Therefore, this research was intended to describe the improvement of the student’s skill in writing descriptive texts by using Direct Writing Activity strategy in the second grade of SDN 07 Teladan Kota Bukittinggi. This was a classroom action research which used qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject of research was the practitioner teacher and 32 students in the second grade of SDN 07 Teladan Kota Bukittinggi. The result of the research indicated that the student’s skill in writing descriptive texts improved from 74,48% (adequtae) in the first cycle into 82,94% (good) in the second cycle. It can be concluded, that Direct Writing Activity strategy could improve the student’s skill in writing descriptive text in the second grade of Primary School.Keywords : Writing Skill, Descriptive Texts, Direct Writing Activity strategy

Abstract

The purpose of the development research is to produce a textbook on the development of Beginning Reading and Writing skills by using the VARK (Visual, Auditory, Read-Write, Kinesthetic) model in the practical grade I class. The development is based on the 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) models that emphasize the contextual user needs (teachers and learners), resulting in a draft of the Beginning Reading and Writing skills development package using the VARK model in class I elementary school , which contains the identification of competency standards and basic competencies, identification of indicators, identification of learning objectives. The results of the trial of practicality demonstrate that the textbook of Reading and Writing Beginnings by using VARK model in class I elementary school is practical and feasible to be used by grade 1 elementary school teachers.  Keywords: Beginning Reading and Writing skills, VARK model, Elementary School

Abstract

Anak-anak di wilayah pedesaan Indonesia sebagian sudah mengenal cara menggunakan internet. Banyak di antara mereka kecanduan game online yang membawa pengaruh negatif. Praktisi pendidikan berusaha keras untuk memunculkan secara dominan pengaruh positif internet. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang cocok berupa game edukasi masa depan untuk siswa kelas lima sekolah dasar di wilayah pedesaan Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan dengan model pengembangan 4-D: define, design, develop, dan disseminate.data diolah dengan bantuan SPSS type 22 untuk uji N-Gain. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas V SD Negeri 46 Kuranji, Kota Padang, provinsi Sumatra Barat, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berupa game edukasi masa depan untuk siswa kelas lima sekolah dasar di wilayah pedesaan Indonesia layak dan efektif untuk digunakan. Anak-anak sangat antusias menggunakan game edukasi. Media game edukasi perlu dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk digunakan di lingkungan pedesaan Indonesia. Hal ini untuk menghilangkan kekakuan anak terhadap teknologi dan membiasakan anak menggunakan game edukasi dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas V SDN 13 Batu Gadang Kota Padang masih rendah. Kebanyakan siswa cenderung diam saja ketika guru meminta untuk berbicara. Apabila siswa menunjukkan keterampilan berbicara, siswa masih terbata-bata, malu, dan ragu-ragu. Selain itu kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran di kelas. Hal ini tentu membuat proses pembelajaran terhambat sehingga siswa tidak dapat berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum adalah menguji pengaruh penggunaan podcast terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SDN 13 Batu Gadang Kota Padang. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan factorial design 2x2. Kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol dipilih dengan purposive random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan uji t-test dan analisis varian dua arah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siswa yang diajar dengan penggunaan podcast daripada siswa yang diajar dengan pendekatan konvensional, dan antara kelompok siswa yang bermotivasi belajar tinggi dan rendah

Abstract

The School Literacy Movement program in Indonesia which has been run in elementary schools was still minimal with current reading resources, less inviting students to think ahead, and developing a monotonous attitude. It was necessary to produce the latest children's reading books such as imaginative tales that present stories related to technological developments. Producing imaginative fairy tales was the aim of this research. The study was conducted using a mixed-method with the Plomp development model. The Plomp development model has three steps: preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment stage. The research results at the preliminary research that students like imaginative tales and need new stories every morning before learning begins. In the prototyping phase is produced a valid and practical imaginative fairy tale book. Imaginative fairy tale book was designed using the Adobe Photoshop program. The imaginative fairy tale book that was developed was able to provide new ideas for students who read it. Besides, the development of a positive attitude is also included in the story, making it easier for teachers to educate students in elementary school

Abstract

Nowdays technological developments have had a major influence on the lives of Indonesian Muslim children. The change in attitude is going in an unexpected direction. Children tend to be negative in everyday life. The number of children who have the courage to show disrespect is increasing. In fact, violence against peers is increasingly emerging among elementary school age children. Therefore this study aims to analyze the role and influence of the character education-based discovery learning model on the development of attitudes of Indonesian Muslim children who are in elementary school. The research objective can be achieved by conducting experimental research with a two-way ANOVA test. The population of this research is fourth grade elementary school children. The research sample was taken by random sampling. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, observation sheets, interviews, assessment sheets, student response questionnaires, and evaluation sheets among others. The research findings show that the character education-based discovery learning model has an effect on scientific thinking and the development of responsible and caring attitudes for Indonesian Muslim children. The role of the character education-based discovery learning model on the development of the attitudes of Indonesian Muslim children, namely the character education-based discovery learning model can build an attitude of responsibility and care in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a thematic learning media in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 by using educational games for elementary students that are valid, practical and effective. Thematic learning media using educational games is closely related to innovation and the use of technology following the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0 era to increase student’s attractiveness in learning. Thematic media learning was the result of development by using adobe flash CS6 program. The contained of media was thematic learning that integrates of several subjects. The development model used was 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate). The research data was obtained from the validity test (media validation sheet), practicality (student and teacher response questionnaire), and effectiveness (student learning activities and results). Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the thematic learning media was valid (media content according to curriculum, attractive design and layout, ease of operation, easy to understand students' language, and clear presentation according to student characteristics), practical (clear contents and objectives, easy to read, attractive appearance, and student interest increases), and effective (can increase student activity and learning outcomes). Learning media using educational games can create a fun learning process
