Abstract

There is no learning media yet except experiment modul on experiment subject that cause the lack on students science process skill. As a result, it encouraged researcher to do research developmet about learning media i.e tutorial video. The objective of this reseach is to know practicality of tutorial video of experiment physics subject to increase science proccess skill of the student. This research is research and developmen research. The result of video tutorial had been validated and then tested to the student of physics education 7th semester of IAIN Batusangkar. Based on questionnaire, it showed that tutorial video of experiment physics subject for increasing students’ science process skill is very practically used.Belum adanya media pembelajaran selain modul praktikum cetak pada mata kuliah eksperimen fisika menyebabkan kurangnya keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa. Hal ini mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan sebuah pengembangan media pembelajaran berupa video tutorial pada mata kuliah eksperimen fisika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui praktikalitas dari video tutorial pada mata kuliah eksperimen fisika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Hasil video tutorial yang telah divalidasi dilakukan uji coba terbatas kepada mahasiswa semester VII Jurusan pendidikan Fisika IAIN Batusangkar. Berdasarkan hasil angket respon juga diketahui bahwa video tutorial pada mata kuliah eksperimen fisika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa sangat praktis digunakan.

Abstract

The investigation of bimetallic CuPt Nanoparticles (CuPt NPs) with average diameters in the 196.7±98 nm range have been prepared by the Liquid phase deposition methods and synthesized directly on an indium tin oxide (ITO) substrate. CuPt NPs with  high surface defect grown on (ITO) surface were prepared via a simple immersion of the substrate into a solution contains 1 mM Potassium Hexachloro Platinate (K2PtCl6), 0.2 mM Anhydrous Copper (II) Sulfate (CuSO4) anhydrous, 0.01 M Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and 10 mM Formic acid for 4 h at room temperature. The modification of Cu2+ ion precursor play a role to determine the nanoparticles geometry obtained. The simultaneous reduction of metal ions leads to either a surface enriched with one component or an alloy type of structure depending on the bimetal composition. The bimetallic CuPt NPs dispersions are characterized by FESEM, EDX Mapping, XRD, HRTEM and XPS analysis.Key words: CuPt, Liquid phase deposition, Bimetallic CuPt NPs

Abstract

Research on identification of honey bee using Computed Radiography has been done. The testing was carried out by providing digital radiograph of the three types of honey bee. The voltage of the x-ray generator was varied at 50 kV, 60 kV and 70 kV, while filament current was set at 100 mA and exposure time was at 5 ms. Honey bee was identified based on the image line profile that indicated the distribution of linear absorption coefficient (µ) for each sample. The analyses on the image line profile showed that at the voltage of 50 kV and 70 kV the three kinds of the honey bee can be distinguished. However, at the voltage of 60 kV the difference among honey bee was unable to be identified.

Abstract

This research was aimed at finding out the usage of radiological physics, i.e. the use of radiology in projecting the image of a constituent material without damaging the outer profile, calibrating radiological picture with aluminum profiles and measuring the relative sim card storage capacity of hand phones. The test was conducted to five types of sim cards along with a ladder-shaped aluminum profile. Photography radiology was performed energy 50 kv. Then the analysis of image quality was done by using software of new image analyzer 2007.  Image calibration process was done by using the results of aluminum profile image. The results of the photographic image were recorded 20 times, and then selected the best image. Then the image result obtained was used to calibrate the thickness of aluminum profile. From the calibration it was found the function equationof the grayscale, y=143,9e-0,18x with the correlation 0,974. As the result of the calibration, it was obtained the relative thickness of sim cards toward aluminum; between 0,3877 ? 0,7423mm. The density measurement of the sim card with grayscale was ranging between 125-134. The density shows the relative simcard storage capacity.Key words: storage capacity, radiographic images, simcard

Abstract

This study aimed to see whether there are differences in the profile line image and the linear attenuation coefficient in the urine baby boys and baby girls who drink only breast milk alone and additional milk with computed radiography, and relation to differences in impurity law. The study was conducted in the x-ray radiology Hospital National Stroke Bukittinggi. The study sample consisted of urine male and female babies who drink only breast milk and urine only baby girls and boys who drank ation and additional milk. CR image retrieval is performed three days (22, 25 and 26 September 2014) with a voltage variation of 50 and 60 kV and 100 mA using a strong current and exposure time of 5 ms. The image was analyzed visually, and physical image quality. The results showed that visual image acquisition of the third day and with two different voltage variations indicate that there are differences in the brightness, contrast and sharpness of the image. Analysis of image quality (based grafi line profile image) shows the pattern of the same line profile image on the third day of taking images at a voltage of 60 kV. Physical Analysis of the image showed that the urine samples tested had a pattern of linear attenuation coefficient value equal to the voltage of 60 kV on three different days. Linear attenuation coefficient values greatest U1 and U3 linear attenuation coefficient on the third day of the smallest image retrieval. The big difference in the value of the significant linear attenuation coefficient between U1 and U3 sample is related to differences in the urine purification unclean baby boys and baby girls.Key words: baby boy urine, urine baby girl, computed radiography, law unclean in Islam

Abstract

The use of analytical methods in solving some forms of differential equations, specifically the non-linear differential is difficult to conduct. The alternative is by using the numerical method. The numerical method used is the euler method which applies the second order differential equation on an LC series circuit. Abstract

This study aims to produce free fall practicum tools by utilizing phototransistor sensors to record the travel time of objects that fall from the starting point to the end point. Dealing with free falling equipment (GJB), equipment in schools is generally still very simple that is using a stopwatch. This type of research is a research and development using 4-d model (define, design, develop and disseminate), which is limited to the stage of development to practicalization activities. Data were collected through validation and responses toward  administered questionnaires.  Data analysis were conducted by analyzing validation sheet and quantitative response questionnaire by finding percentage of each item on the validation sheet. Then the data validation results are analyzed by descriptive technique to describe the quality of the developed product. The result of calibration of free fall practicum by using phototransistor sensor at 40 cm, 50 cm, and 70 cm distance obtained the average travel time of each object is 0.28 s, 0.32 s, and 0.37 s. These results indicate that the practicum tool has been calibrated. Validation of practicum tool is 72,39% and validation of questionnaire response of practican is 75%, indicating tool categorized valid. Furthermore, this tool is tested in class X.MIA and XI.MIA MAN 3 Payakumbuh which consisted 23 students in the science laboratory of MAN 3 Payakumbuh with the questionnaire response practicality are 87.75% and 84.41% respectively which are categorized very practical.

Abstract

Magnet contribute greatly to health. As a result, a variety of products using a mag-net as a healing tool. The use of magnets for health is presumably because in the human body there are also magnetic. The purpose of this study is to examine the magnetic analysis in the human body. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data collected by the technique of writing literature. The results obtained by the analysis that the human body contains a metallic element that is iron. Basic properties of the mag-netic material is located on the magnetic properties of the core elements of the human body shaper is hydrogen, H2O molecules and iron. In the human body Fe contained in the grains of red blood (hemoglobin). Other substances that have magnetic properties but is not as strong as the Fe in hemoglobin is the molecule H2O.Key words: magnets, the human body

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kesulitan mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep global warming dan penanaman nilai-nilai karakter sehingga perlu dirancang media poster berbasis pendidikan karakter. Media poster berbasis pendidikan karakter ini sudah valid menurut validator. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kepraktisan dari media poster berbasis pendidikan karakter yang telah dikembangkan pada perkuliahan Ilmu Alamiah Dasar. Kepraktisan dari media poster ditinjau dari kemudahan penggunaan media poster oleh mahasiswa.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian pengembangan digunakan untuk mendapatkan media poster yang praktis. Kepraktisan bahan ajar diperoleh dari ujicoba terbatas pada mahasiswa yang sudah mengambil IAD. Instrumen penelitiannya adalah angket responden.Hasil penelitian pengembangan media poster berbasis pendidikan karakter sudah sangat praktis menurut mahasiswa,dengan persentase 81.9 %. Kata kunci: media poster berbasis pendidikan karakter, praktis, global warming
