Abstract

Abstract— This paper explains how the elaboration model that a student does in the abstraction process of mathematical concepts. Every mathematical activity undertaken by a student will not be separated from the concept of mathematics itself, learning mathematical concepts are being started from the things are abstract. abstract is something that is not form, something intangible. The word abstract is closely related to the word abstraction. Abstraction itself is an important component of mental activity that aims to formulate basic concepts of mathematics. In the process of learning basic concepts of mathematics that have been studied previously must be re-emerged in the memory of students. storage of information at any time, which involves coding, storing, and retrieving. In the process of encoding information of someone's ability to remember not only in-depth processing or meaningful, but someone can have a good memory when someone involves elaboration in the coding process Keywords— Cognitive Elaboration, Abstraction Process, Mathematical Concept Abstrak— Tulisan ini menjelaskan bagaimana model elaborasi yang dilakukan seorang siswa dalam proses abstraksi Konsep matematika. Setiap kegiatan matematika yang dilakukan seorang siswa tak akan terlepas dari konsep matematika itu sendiri, pembelajaran konsep matematika dimulai dari hal –hal yang bersifat abstrak. abstrak adalah sesuatu yang tidak berbentuk, sesuatu yang tidak berwujud. Kata abstrak sangat berkaitan erat dengan kata abstraksi. Abstraksi sendiri merupakan  kompenen penting dari aktivitas mental yang bertujuan untuk merumuskan konsep-konsep dasar materamatika. Dalam proses pembelajaran matematika konsep-konsep dasar yang telah dipelajari sebelumnya harus dimunculkan kembali dalam memori siswa. penyimpanan informasi di setiap waktu, yang melibatkan pengkodean, penyimpanan, dan pemanggilan kembali. Dalam proses pengkodeaan informasi kemampuan mengingat seseorang tidak hanya pada pemprosesan yang mendalam atau bermakna, tetapi seseorang dapat memiliki ingatan yang baik ketika seseorang tersebut melibatkan elaborasi dalam proses pengkodeannya. Kata Kunci— Elaborasi Kognitif, Proses Abstraksi, Konsep Matematika

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study is entitled "The Implementation of Problem Solving Model to Improve Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 9 Lubuklinggau". This study aims to determine the increase in students' problem solving abilities in learning mathematics after being applied using a problem solving model. The type of research used is Pre Experimental Design. The population of all VII grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Lubuklinggau totaling 248 students and as a sample of class VII.5 with 32 students, the sample was taken randomly. Data collection was carried out using test techniques. The collected data were analyzed using t-test at a significant level = 0.05. Based on the results of the final test data analysis it can be concluded that. There is an increase in the ability to solve math problems of VII graders of SMP Negeri 9 Lubuklinggau after applying the problem solving model. The average value of students' mathematical problem solving abilities is 28.24.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja peran guru dan bagaimana cara guru dalam penguatan karakter siswa sekolah dasar pada proses belajar dari rumah (Learning From Home) kelas V SD Negeri 19 Lubuklinggau. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah satu orang guru dan siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 19 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data penyajian data, verivikasi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) peran guru yang dilakukan sudah maksimal meliputi keteladanan, motivator, fasilitator dan evaluator dan; 2) karakter siswa sudah menjadi lebih baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran guru kelas V dalam penguatan karakter siswa sekolah dasar pada proses belajar dari rumah sudah dilakukan dengan baik sehingga karakter religius, disiplin dan tanggung jawab sudah menjadi lebih baik.Kata Kunci: Peran Guru, Belajar dari Rumah (Learning From Home), SD

Abstract

RSUD Salatiga is a hospital that already has a wastewater treatment plant, but has not been able to process all the waste generated. Wastewater treatment plant will be designed to process wastewater from the installation of nutrition, laundry, PONEK, pavilion and classroom III. WWTP capacity will be made at 120.4 m3/day with the type of anaerobic-aerobic biofilter treatment. Processing to be used consists of control boxes, tubs fat separator, equalization basin, tub anaerobic decomposition, initial deposition basin, anoxic biofilter, biofilter aerobic, final settling basin and bath indicators with the disinfection process. Later, when the new WWTP has been made, the existing WWTP will be retained so that the hospital will have two WWTP Salatiga.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the cognitive elaboration models of students in the process of abstraction of concepts and principles of two-dimensional mathematical space in Class XI of Las Teknik SMK 1 Curup. This research uses a qualitative approach. The main instrument is the researchers themselves guided by student ability test sheets and interview guide sheets. Data were analyzed through three stages, namely the stage of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Research result; description of students' elaboration models in the process of abstraction of mathematical concepts in two-dimensional space: Recognizing models; Students are clearly familiar with the shapes of two-dimensional spaces, Students can understand the definition of two-dimensional shapes of two-dimensional space objects given, and based on information that students have obtained previously. Students can determine the objects that constitute the building of two-dimensional space. Students can discover the principles of building a two-dimensional space Model Building With; Students can discover the relationships of concepts and principles of two-dimensional geometric shapes by analyzing images of two-dimensional geometric objects. Model Contracting; Students know what concepts will be used, and to know these concepts students imagine and sketch a two-dimensional space object of the existing problems, in solving these problems associated with the incorporation of mathematical principles contained in the concept, and the student's knowledge according to students' ability to remember. Conclusion, through the concept of cognitive elaboration in the process of abstraction of principles and mathematical concepts of two-dimensional space students are able to use mathematical concepts and principles in solving problems so students are able to make conclusions from the results of the settlement and students are able to explain or present the results of their work. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of abstraction of students of class XI IPA 2 of SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau in understanding the concepts and principles of geometry in terms of Van Hiele's theory. The method used in research is a qualitative method. Data were analyzed through three stages, namely the stage of data preduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of data analysis obtained from the five steps of thinking based on Van Hiele's theory that the thinking of students of class XI IPA 2 of SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau is only at stage 0 to stage 2, whereas for stage 3 and stage 4 the level of thinking of class XI IPA 2 students Lubuklinggau still has difficulty in drawing conclusions from things that are general to things that are specific and at this stage is also a stage of thinking that is high, complicated and complex. Conclusion, the level of thinking of students of XI Science 2 of SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau is still low in understanding the concepts and principles of geometry in terms of van hiele's theory. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a valid and practical Problem Based Learning (PBL) based student worksheet for junior high school students in Lubuklinggau. This research is a development research or development research type formative research. The subjects of the study were 75 State Junior High School students in Lubulinggau City, 27 people from SMP N 9 Lubuklinggau, 27 people from SMP N 11 Lubuklinggau, and 21 people from SMP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Data collection techniques used are walk through, to determine the validity of student worksheets in content, construct and language as well as documents to determine the practicality of student worksheets. This research produces Problem Based Learning based student worksheets that can measure students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Overall test results with an average value of 70,15 mathematical reasoning ability stated good. Conclusions, Student Worksheets developed are valid and practical to use and have a potential effect on improving students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop student worksheets (LKS) using the Lubuklinggau city-based Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on the set material in class VII according to the 2013 curriculum and find out the quality of worksheets developed from the validity, practicality and potential effects of using LKS. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) research. Development of worksheets using a 4-D model that was modified to a 3-D model. This model consists of 3 stages, namely: the stage of defining (Define), design (Development) and development (Develop) without including the spread (Disseminate) due to time constraints. The results of the study are based on the assessment analysis by the three experts namely: linguists, material experts, and media experts showing that the worksheet fulfills valid criteria with an average score of 3.12. While the results of the analysis of student response questionnaire assessments obtained that the student worksheets meet practical criteria with an average score of 3.55 and have a potential effect of 27 students (84.37%) whose grades reach mastery learning, while 5 students (15.63%) not reached mastery learning. In conclusion, the development of student worksheets using the contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based on the city of Lubuklinggau is declared valid, practical and has a potential effect on students' mastery learning.
