Abstract

Suatu penelitian tentang produksi hijauan segar dan kadar bahan kering rumput setaria (Setaria sphacelata) telah dilakukan di Laboratorium Lapangan Peternakan (LLP) yang terletak di Jalan Utama Gampong Rukoh dan Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Teknologi Pakan Prodi Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala mulai dari bulan Februari 2017 hingga April 2017. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian mikoriza arbuskula terhadap produksi hijauan segar dan kadar bahan kering rumput setaria (Setaria sphacelata). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 4 perlakuan dengan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan L0 adalah perlakuan kontrol/tanpa pemberian mikoriza arbuskula, perlakuan L1 adalah perlakuan dengan pemberian 5 gr mikoriza arbuskula per rumpun, perlakuan L2 adalah perlakuan dengan pemberian 10 gr mikoriza arbuskula per rumpun, sedangkan  perlakuan L3 adalah perlakuan dengan pemberian 15 gr mikoriza arbuskula per rumpun. Parameter yang diukur adalah produksi hijauan segar dan kadar bahan kering. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian mikoriza arbuskula tidak berpengaruh (P0,05)  terhadap produksi hijauan segar dan kadar bahan kering.Fresh Forages Production and Dry Matter Content of Setaria (Setaria sphacelata) with Different Level of Arbuscular Mycorrizal ApplicationA research concerning fresh forages production and dry matter content of setaria (Setaria sphacelata) grass with different level of arbuscular mycorrizal application was conducted at Field Laboratory Peternakan (LLP) located on Jalan Utama Gampong Rukoh and at Nutritional Science and Feed Technology Laboratory, Department of Animal Husbandry Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University.  The research had been conducted from February until April 2017. Completely Randomized Design was used in this research consists of four treatments (L0 = 0 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps (control), L1 = 5 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps, L2 = 10 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps, and L3 = 15 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps), and five replications. Fresh forages production and dry matter content were the parameter determined. Statistical analysis result indicated that there was no significant effect (P0.05) caused by the treatments on fresh forages production and dry matter content. Abstract

Completely Randomized Design was used in this research consists of four treatments (L0 = control/0 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps, L1 = 5 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps, L2 = 10 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps, and L3 = 15 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps), and five replications. Crude protein and crude fiber content were the parameter estimated. Statistical analysis showed that there was highly significant effect (P0,01) caused bythe treatments on crude protein and crude fiber content. The conclusion was that the different level of arbuscular mycorrhizal applied on setaria grass indicated to different result.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Balai Penelitian Ternak Unggul dan Hijauan Pakan Ternak (BPTU-HPT) Indrapuri, Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 45 hari dimulai pada tanggal 12 Oktober sampai dengan tanggal 25 Novembeer 2018. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 12 ekor sapi Aceh jantan dengan umur berkisar 1,5 - 2,0 tahun dan berat badan berkisar 150 – 175 kg yang diperoleh dari Balai Pembibitan Ternak Unggul dan Hijauan Pakan ternak (BPTU-HPT) Indrapuri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi terhadap besar konsumsi dan koefisien cerna protein kasar dan koefisien cerna serat kasar sapi aceh jantan dengan pemberian imbangan konsentrat dan hijauan. Konsentrat yang diberikan adalah konsentrat komersial (Big Geny) produksi PT. Cargill, dan hijauan yang diberikan adalah rumput gajah umur 30-35 hari menjelang berbunga yang diperoleh dari BPTU-HPT Indrapuri. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Data yang diperoleh seperti konsumsi ransum, koefisien cerna protein kasar dan koefisien cerna serat kasar  selanjutnya akan diolah menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap, jika didapatkan hasil yang berbeda maka akan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Perlakuan A yaitu 100% Rumput gajah,  B 20% konsentrat dan 80% Rumput gajah, C yaitu 40% Konsentrat 60% Rumput gajah dan D yaitu 60% Konsentrat 40% Rumput gajah. Parameter yang diamati adalah : konsumsi ransum, koefisien cerna protein kasar, koefisien cerna serat kasar dan hubungan regresi koefisien cerna protein kasar dengan koefisien cerna serat kasar. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian imbangan antara konsentrat dan hijauan pada sapi aceh jantan berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi ransum, koefisien cerna protein kasar dan koefisien cerna serat kasar. Berdasarkan rataan tiap perlakuan bisa disimpulkan perlakuan pemberian 40% konsentrat yang menjadi rataan tertinggi di tiap perlakuan. Berdasarkan nilai regresi linier nilai signifikansi 0,000 0,05, dapat disimpulkan bahwa KCSK berkorelasi sangat tinggi terhadap KCPK.Analysis of Consumption and Digestion Coefficient of Crude Protein and Crude Fiber of Acehnese Bulls Given Different Ratio of Concentrate and Forage in BPTU – HPT IndrapuriAbstract. The research was located at Research Institute for Animal Husbandry and Forage (BPTU-HPT), Indrapuri, Aceh Besar. It was conducted for 45 days starting from 12 October until 25 November 2018. The material used in this study were 12  Acehnese Bulls, with body weight 150 to 175 kg and 1,5 – 2,0 years old, were used in this research. The bulls were obtained from Research Institute for Animal Husbandry and Forage (BPTU-HPT), Indrapuri. This research aimed to obtain information on the amount of consumption and digestibility coefficient of crude protein and crude fiber of acehnese bulls by giving different concentrate and forage ratio. The concentrate used was commercial concentrate (Big Geny) produced by PT. Cargill, and it was also given elephant grass aged from 30 to 35 days before flowering as the forage. The grass was obtained from BPTU-HPT Indrapuri. The data obtained such as feed consumption, crude protein digestion coefficient and crude fiber digestion coefficient, would be processed by using a completely random design. If it showed different results, it would be continued by using Duncan test. The treatment were 100% of elephant grass (A), 20% concentrate and 80% elephant grass (B), 40% concentrate and 60% elephant grass (C), and 60% concentrate and 40% elephant grass (D). The parameters observed were: ration consumption, crude protein digestion coefficient, crude fiber digestion coefficient and regression relation of crude protein digestion coefficient with crude fiber digestion coefficient. Based on the average of each treatment, it can be concluded that the treatment gives 40% concentrate which is the highest average in each treatment. Based on the linear regression value of significance value of 0,000 0.05, it can be concluded that KCSK has an effect on KCPK.

Abstract

ABSTRAK, Suatu penelitian tentang penentuan bahan aditif terbaik untuk meningkatkan kualitas fisik silase rumput gajah mini, telah dilaksanakan dalam tiga bagian. Penelitian bagian pertama merupakan proses pembuatan silase yang dilakukan di Laboratorium Lapangan Peternakan (LLP) yang terletak di Jalan Utama Gampong Rukoh selama 21 hari, dimulai dari tanggal 25 April 2019 hingga 16 Mei 2019. Bagian kedua adalah uji organoleptik dilakukan di Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala pada tanggal 17 Mei 2019, sementara bagian ketiga penelitian berupa uji pH dilakukan di Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Pengolahan Susu Prodi Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala pada tanggal 17 Mei 2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian probiotik EM-4 dengan tambahan bahan aditif yang berbeda terhadap kualitas fisik silase rumput gajah mini. Rancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, dimana perlakuan adalah 1) kontrol, 2) Belimbing wuluh 3%, 3) Molases 3% dan, 4) Dedak halus 3%. Parameter yang diukur pada penelitian ini adalah Warna, Aroma, Tekstur, Keberadaan Jamur dan Kadar pH. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan probiotik EM-4 dengan tambahan bahan aditif yang berbeda dapat meningkatkan kualitas fisik silase rumput gajah mini.   PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF DWARF ELEPHANT GRASS (Pennisetum purpureum CV. Mott) ENSILED WITH DIFFERENT ADDITIVE PLUS EM-4 PROBIOTICABSTRACT. A research concerning the physical characteristics of dwarf elephant grass ensiled with different additive plus EM-4 probiotic was completed. The research was conducted in three parts sequentially. Firstly was the silage processing done at the Field Laboratory Peternakan (LLP) located on the main road of Rukoh village during 21 days from April 25th to May 16th, 2019.  Secondly was the organoleptic test that conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University on May 17th, 2019. The last part of the research was pH test carried at the Science and Milk Processing Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University on May 17th, 2019. The objective of this research was to find the effect of ensiled dwarf elephant grass with different additive plus EM-4 probiotic on the silage physical characteristics. The design used in this research was a completely randomized design (CRD) The Each treatment was repeated four times, were L0 (control), L1 (3% sliced starfruit added), L2 (3% molasses added), and L3 (3% fine bran added). The color, the scent, the texture, the presence of fungus, and pH value were the parameter determined. The results showed that physical characteristics of dwarf elephant grass ensiled with different additive plus EM-4 probiotic was improved.

Abstract

Abstrak.  Penelitian evaluasi kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik pada domba ekor tipis jantan yang diberi pakan  limbah sereh wangi (Cymbopogon nardus) fermentasi, dilakukan dengan  metode Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin  dengan  4 perlakuan  dan  4  ulangan.  Perlakuan  R0  adalah  tanpa  adanya  substitusi  limbah  sereh  wangi  fermentasi  (0%), perlakuan R1 adanya substitusi limbah sereh wangi fermentasi (10%), perlakuan R2 adanya substitusi limbah sereh wangi  fermentasi  (20%),  perlakuan  R3  adanya  substitusi  limbah  sereh  wangi  fermentasi  (30%).  Parameter  yang diamati meliputi konsumsi bahan kering, kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa substitusi limbah sereh wangi fermentasi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P0.05) terhadap konsumsi bahan kering, kecernaan bahan kering dan kecernaan bahan organik.Evaluation of Dry Matter and Organic Matter Digestibility in Thin-Tailed Sheep Fed with Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus) Waste Fermentation.Abstract. Research on the evaluation of dry matter and organic matter digestibility in thin-tailed sheep fed with citronella (cymbopogon nardus) waste fermentation was carried out using the Latin squore Design method with 4 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment R0 was the absence of substitution of fermented citronella waste (0%), treatment R1 was the existence of fermented citronella waste substitution (10%), treatment R2 was the substitution of fermented citronella waste (20%), treatment R3 of the substitution of fermented citronella waste (10%) 30%). The parameters observed include the consumption of dry matter, digestibility of dry matter and digestibility of organic matter. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 3 desa yang berbeda di Kecamatan Indrapuri, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian berlangsung selama 30 hari yang dimulai dari tanggal 18 Februari - 19 Maret 2017. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi ukuran tubuh turunan sapi aceh pada umur sapih dengan sisitem pemeliharaan yang berbeda. Materi  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah anak sapi Aceh lepas sapih sebanyak 24 ekor. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi yaitu dengan cara mengukur ternak turunan sapi Aceh lepas sapih tersebut. Penentuan desa dengan mempertimbangkan adanya sistem pemeliharaan sapi secara ekstensif dan intensif dan jumlah ternak sapi lepas sapih terpenuhi untuk pengambilan sampel. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah lingkar dada, panjang badan, dan tinggi pundak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ukuran lingkar dada turunan sapi Aceh pada umur sapih yang di pelihara dengan system intensif menunjukkan ukuran yang lebih tinggi di bandingkan dengan ukuran lingkar dada yang dipelihara dengan system pemeliharaan ekstensif dan pada pengukuran panjang badan dan tinggi gumba turunan sapi Aceh yang di pelihara dengan system ekstensif menunjukkan ukuran yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan ukuran  panjang badan dan tinggi gumba yang di pelihara dengan sistem intensifEvaluation of Body Size of Aceh Cow Beans with Different Maintenance System in Indrapuri Sub-district, Aceh BesarThis research was conducted in 3 different villages in Indrapuri Sub-district, Aceh Besar District. The study lasted for 30 days starting from February 18 to March 19, 2017. This study aims to evaluate the body size of aceh cows at the weaning age with different maintenance systems. The material used in this study is Aceh calf off weeds as much as 24 tail. This research method using the observation method that is by measuring the cattle of Aceh cattle derivatives off the weaning. Determination of the village taking into account the existence of an extensive and intensive cattle breeding system and the number of loose weaning cattle is fulfilled for sampling. Parameters observed in this study were chest circumference, body length, and shoulder height. The results showed that the size of the chest circumference of cows of Aceh cattle at the age of weaning with intensive care system showed a higher size in comparison with the size of the chest circumference maintained with extensive maintenance system and on the measurement of the length and height of the gumba derived from Aceh cows Extensive systems show a higher size compared to the size of the body length and height of the gumba maintained in an intensive system

Abstract

Abstrak. Penggunaan konsentrat komersial (683) untuk memacu pertambahan berat badan kambing kacang yang diberi pakan dasar hijauan campuran telah dilakukan di Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Ternak Potong Program Studi Peternakan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan Oktober 2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pertambahan berat badan harian pada kambing kacang jantan yang diberikan kosentrat komersial (683) dan hijauan campuran. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin (RBSL) yaitu dengan menggunakan empat perlakuan dan empat periode (ulangan). Masing-masing perlakuan adalah pelakuan A (0% pellet 683) perlakuan B (20% pellet 683), perlakuan C (40% pellet 683), dan pelakuan D (60% pellet 683). Data penelitian yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). Parameter yang diamati adalah : Pertambahan berat badan, Konsumsi pakan, Konversi pakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang sangat nyata (P0.01) terhadap konsumsi ransum. Namun terjadi perbedaan yang tidak nyata (P0,05) pada parameter pertambahan berat badan dan efesiensi ransum. Use of Commercial Concentrates (683) to Stimulate Weight Loss of Goat kacang Provided with Basic Mixed Forage FeedAbstract. The use of commercial concentrate 683 to accelerate the growth of kacang goat fed with mixed forage has been conducted at the Laboratory of Technology and Livestock Production, the Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University of Banda Aceh. from August to October 2017. The objective of this study was to determine the daily weight gain in kacang goat given commercial concentrate (683) and mixed green. The design used in this study was Latin Square Design (RBSL) wash four treatments and four periods (replication). The treatment ware A (0% pellet 683) B (20% pellet 683), C (40% pellet 683), and D (60% pellet 683). The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). Parameters observed were: Weight gain, Feed consumption, Feed conversion. The results showed a significant difference on (P 0.01) to the consumption of rations. However, the difference was not significant (P 0.05) on the parameter of weight gain and ration efficiency.

Abstract

Abstrak.  Suatu penelitian tentang efektivitas mikoriza arbuskula terhadap performans rumput  setaria (Setaria sphacelata) telah dilakukan di Laboratorium Lapangan Peternakan (LLP) yang terletak di Jalan Utama Gampong Rukoh dan Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Teknologi Pakan Prodi Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala mulai dari bulan Februari 2017 hingga April 2017. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui performans rumput setaria yang diberi mikoriza arbuskula. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 4 perlakuan dengan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan L0 adalah perlakuan kontrol/tanpa pemberian mikoriza arbuskula, perlakuan L1 adalah perlakuan dengan pemberian 5 gr mikoriza arbuskula per rumpun, perlakuan L2 adalah perlakuan dengan pemberian 10 gr mikoriza arbuskula per rumpun, sedangkan  perlakuan L3 adalah perlakuan dengan pemberian 15 gr mikoriza arbuskula per rumpun. Parameter yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman, lebar daun, jumlah anakan, berat segar akar dan berat kering akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mikoriza arbuskula tidak berpengaruh (P0,05)  terhadap tinggi tanaman, lebar daun, jumlah anakan, berat segar akar dan berat kering akar.The Performance of Setaria sphacelata on Different Level of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Abstract. A reaserch concerning effectivity ofarbuscular mycorrhizal applied on setaria (Setaria sphacelata) grass was conducted at Field Laboratory Peternakan (LLP) located on Utama Street Gampong Rukoh andat Nutritional Science dan Feed Technology Laboratory,Department of Animal Husbandry Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University from February to April 2017. Completely Randomized Design was used in this research with 4 treatments (L0 = control/0 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps, L1 = 5 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps, L2 = 10 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps, and L3 = 15 gr arbuscular mycorrhizal applied per clumps. Plant height, leaf width, number of tillers, fresh root weight and dry root weight were the parameter determined. The statistical analisisindicated that there was no significant effect (P0.05) caused by treatments on plant height, leaf width, number of tillers, fresh root weight and dry rootweight. The results revealed that all level of arbuscular mycorrhizal applied showed no effectiveness on setaria grass performance. Abstract. Abstract

Abstrak. penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi karakteristik reproduksi sapi Aceh betina di Kecamatan Terangun Kabupaten Gayo Lues. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei kegiatan observasi langsung ke lokasi penelitian yang terdapat peternak pemelihara sapi Aceh. Sebanyak 25 orang peternak yang tersebar dalam 4 desa terpilih di Kecamatan Terangun Kabupaten Gayo Lues merupakan responden dalam penelitian ini. Penentuan peternak sebagai responden adalah dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling (Singarimbun, 1981), yaitu dengan ketentuan peternak minimal memelihara dua ekor sapi Aceh betina yang sudah pernah beranak dua kali atau lebih.  Empat desa terpilih yaitu: Berhut, Terlis, Reje Pudung dan Soyo. Data-data dikumpulkan menggunakan panduan pertanyaan berupa kuesioner yang telah dipersiapkan sebelumnya. Ada dua sumber data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu berasal dari data primer dan data sekunder. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh, dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif menggunakan tabel tabulasi, dihitung nilai rataan, simpangan baku dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik reproduksi sapi Aceh betina di Kecamatan Terangun Kabupaten Gayo Lues masih kurang baik. Sapi Aceh betina di Kecamatan Terangun dewasa kelamin pada rataan umur 14,3±1,26 bulan, umur kawin pertama pada 23,9±3,42 bulan, jarak beranak 14,0±2,23 bulan, sapi kawin kembali setelah beranak yaitu 3,1±1,09 bulan, dan penyapihan pedet pada umur 4,5±0,54 bulan.Evaluation Of Aceh Cow Characteristics in Terangun District Of Gayo Lues RegencyAbstract. The objective of study was to evaluate the reproductive vharacteristic of Aceh cow in Terangun Distric of Gayo Lues Regency. The methode used in this study with observation to responden (farmers) using questionnaire. Twentifive farmers were selected from a village in Terangun District. The farmers were sampled using a purposive sampling methode with a criteria having at least two cow whch have been giving birth twice or more. The data were obtained by interestings the responden using a questionnaire prepared in advance. There are two sources of data collected in this study which are derived from primary data and secondary data. Furthermore, the data obtained, carried out descriptive statistical analysis using tabulation tables, calculated the average value, standard deviation and percentage. The results showed that the reproductive characteristics of female Acehnese cattle in Terangun District, Gayo Lues District were still not good. Female Acehnese cattle in Terangun Subdistrict were sexually mature at an average age of 14.3 ± 1.26 months, age at first marriage at 23.9 ± 3.42 months, calving distance 14.0 ± 2.23 months, cow mating again after giving birth ie 3.1 ± 1.09 months, and calf weaning at the age of 4.5 ± 0.54 months.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Ilmu Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak Program Studi Peternakan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala dan dilanjutkan dengan pengiriman sampel penelitian ke Laboratorium Ternak Perah Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) untuk pengujian kecernaan secara in vitro. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji kecernaan secara in vitro complete feed berbahan dasar ampas sagu dengan teknik fermentasi yang berbeda.Pembuatan complete feed disusun sesuai dengan kebutuhan ternak domba. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan masing-masing perlakuan terdiri atas 5 ulangan. Perlakuan 1 (kontrol) adalah complete feed tanpa penambahan Saus Burger Pakan (SBP) dan tanpa fermentasi, perlakuan 2 adalah ampas sagu difermentasi dengan SBP selama 14 hari kemudian dicampur menjadi complete feed dan difermentasi hingga 21 hari, sedangkan perlakuan 3 adalah ampas sagu + complete feed kemudian difermentasi dengan SBP selama 21 hari. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah pH, Bahan Kering (BK), Bahan Organik (BO), Koefisien Cerna Bahan Kering (KCBK), dan Koefisien Cerna Bahan Organik (KCBO). Hasil pengamatan menyimpulkan bahwa, teknik fermentasi yang berbeda berpengaruh sangat nyata (P0,01) terhadap semua parameter yang diamati, yaitu pH, BK, BO, KCBK dan KCBO. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai kecernaan complete feed berbahan dasar ampas sagu dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan teknik fermentasi. Digestibility Evaluation In Vitro Complete Feed Fermentation Sago Residues Based with Different Fermentation Techniques Abstract: This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Nutrition and Feed Studies, Program study Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Syiah Kuala and continued with the delivery of sample to the Laboratory of Dairy Cattle Institute Pertanian Bogor (IPB) for testing of in vitro digestibility. The purpose of this study was to test in vitro digestibility of complete feed made from  the residues of sago with different fermentation techniques. Complete feed was arranged based on the needs of sheep. This study used a complete randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and each treatment consisted of 5 replicates. Treatment 1 (control) was a complete feed without the addition of Saus Burger Pakan (SBP) and without fermentation, treatment 2 was sago residu  fermented with SBP for 14 days and then mixed into a complete feed and fermented up to 21 days, whereas treatment 3 was the sago residue + complete feed then fermented with SBP for 21 days. The parameters observed in this study were pH, Dry Matter (BK), Organic Matter (BO), Dry Matter digestibility coefficients (KCBK), and Organic Matter Digestibility Coefficient (KCBO). The result influence showed that, different fermentation technique was significantly (P 0.01) all parameters, namely pH, BK, BO, KCBK and KCBO. It can be concluded that the digestibility of complete feed made from sago residue influenced by differences in fermentation techniques
