Abstract

CHS is a program proposed by Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy during the Covid-19 pandemic in the form of implementing health protocols based on Clean (Cleanliness), Health (Health), and Safety (Safety). This research aims to determine the implementation of the CHS protocol that is applied to the tourist attraction which is Pulau Cinta Teluk Jering. This research uses a mixed method of quantitative and qualitative approaches. The sample of this research were aquired from 100 respondents and one other informant, namely the tourist attraction manager of Pulau Cinta Teluk Jering. The data collection techniques which were used in this researche are questionnaires, interviews, observations, documentation and literature studies. And so using the Likert scale as a measuring tool to determine the length of the short interval. Based on the research conducted, the results of the Clean sub-variable with a score of 1,973 in the good category, the Health sub-variable with a score of 2,362 in the relatively good category, and the Safety sub-variable with a score of 3,978 in the relatively good category too. According to these results, the recapitulation of the three sub-variables has a score of 8,313, with that score the implementation of the CHS protocol in Pulau Cinta Teluk Jering is in the good category. Although it is placed in the good category, the managers must remain disciplined in the implementation of the CHS protocol in effort to make visitors who visit the object feel safe in the time of their visits even in this Covid-19 pandemic situation.Keywords: CHS protocol, implementation, Covid-19, tourist attraction
