Abstract

This research is aimed to get a detailed description and analysis about the representation of lexical cohesion in the background of research in undergraduate thesis from English Language Education students at Madako University. The researchers employed quantitative model to analyze the frequency and percentage of lexical cohesion which is used by the students in their writing. The data in this research were obtained from English Language Education undergraduate thesis of students at Madako University. The data collection which is used by the researchers is note taking. The data of this research were analyzed by using categorization of cohesion namely lexical cohesion. The result of this research indicates that the repetition component becomes the most dominant from the three components; the percentage of repetition is 93%, followed by synonym, collocation and superordinate with their percentage 4%, 2%, and 1% respectively.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengembangan guru matematika era 4.0. yang makin kompetitif. Perkembangan dunia tengah memasuki era revolusi industri 4.0. dimana teknologi telah menjadi basis dalam kehidupan manusia. Peran guru matematika tidak dapat digantikan sepenuhnya oleh perkembangan teknologi. Dalam menghadapi era 4.0 guru dituntut profesional di bidangnya, pengembangan profesionalisme guru matematika di era 4.0 menuntut guru matematika memiliki kompetensi karakter, keterampilan dan literasi dalam menghadirkan pembelajaran yang variatif dan inovatif. Hal ini dapat dimaknai bahwa peran guru menjadi mentor, fasilitator, motivator, inspirator, pengembang imajinasi, kreativitas, nilai-nilai karakter, serta team work, dan empati sosial karena nilai-nilai itulah yang tidak dapat diajarkan oleh mesin. Beberapa solusi yang dapat dilakukan guru matematika era 4.0 antara lain, mampu menguasai dan memanfaatkan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran. Kata kunci: perkembangan, guru profesional, Era 4.0 Abstract: This article aims to describe the development of mathematics teachers in the 4.0 era. increasingly competitive. The development of the world is entering the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. where technology has become the basis in human life. The role of the mathematics teacher cannot be completely replaced by technological development. In facing the era of 4.0 teachers are required to be professional in their fields, the development of professionalism in mathematics teachers in diera 4.0 requires mathematics teachers to have the competence of character, skills and literacy in presenting varied and innovative learning. This can be interpreted, that the role of the teacher becomes a mentor, facilitator, motivator, inspirator, imagination developer, creativity, character values, as well as team work, and social empathy because those values cannot be taught by machines. Some solutions that can be done by mathematics teacher in 4.0 era include, being able to master and utilize digital technology in learning. Key word: development, teacher, Profesional, era 4.0

Abstract

The character of the nation is currently experiencing a severe fragility. Various people rate as a result of the imbalance of purpose in educational practice in schools. The purpose of learning is not oriented of cultivation of characters, but more cognitively oriented. This study aimed to develop science learning model integrated with character value (Model PIN-Karakter) in elementary school are valid, practical, effective and attractive to conceive a character value and improve science learning outcomes. The metodology used in this research is Research and Development (R & D). The research subject is elementary school's student's and teachers in grade 4, in Makassar South Sulawesi. This research is the development of plot development using Plomp, by taking five phases, namely: (1) investigation, (2) design, (3) realization, (4) validation testing. and revision, and (5) implementation. The metodology used in this research is Research and Development (R & D). The research subject is elementary school's student's and teachers in grade 4, in Makassar South Sulawesi. Data collection is using validation sheet, observation, test learning outcomes, and questionnaires, supported by logbook. The data is analysed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative- The results indicate that the development of. (1) Model PIN-Karakter comply criteria validity, practicality, effectiveness and attractiveness, and (2) the process of cultivation character value take place in stages and hierarchical follow of syntax Model PIN-Karakter, with two patterns of integration, the integration content-based and integration activity-based. Syntax of Model PIN-Kayakter consists of six phases, namely: (i) conditioning concepts and values, (ii) the organization of the group, (iii) the value of exploration and growth, (iv) explanation and deepening of value, (v) application and commitment to value; and (vi) evaluation and habituation value. Abstract

Kreativitas, menurut Guilford dapat dinilai dari ciri-ciri aptitude seperti kelancaran, fleksibilitas dan orisinalitas, maupun ciri-ciri non-aptitude, antara lain temperamen, motivasi, serta komitmen menyelesaikan tugas.Guilford mengemukakan bahwa inteligensi dapat dilihat dari tiga kategori dasar atau “faces of intellect”, yaitu : Operasi Mental (Proses Befikir) , Content (Isi yang Dipikirkan), Visual (bentuk konkret atau gambaran). Auditory. Word Meaning (semantic). Symbolic (informasi dalam bentuk lambang, kata-kata atau angka dan notasi musik). Behavioral (interaksi non verbal yang diperoleh melalui penginderaan, ekspresi muka atau suara) dan Product (Hasil  Berfikir).

Abstract

This research aims at Investigating the Language Learning Strategy Used by English Department Students at Madako University. The type of this research is qualitative research. The samples were 15 students at B class which were selected purposively. Its data were collected through questionnaire. The result showed that students used all the strategies including memory, cognitive, compensation, metacognitive, affective and social strategy. The most strategy used by the students were metacognitive strategy. And it showed, students used metacognitive strategy (20%), followed by the social strategy (18%), compensation strategy (16%), affective strategy (16%), cognitive strategy (15%), and memory strategy (15%). The result also showed the students were categorized as high language learning strategy users.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata Ekspedisi Nusantara merupakan bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk mewujudkan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. pelaksanaan kegiatan ekspedisi nusantara agar dapat membantu memecahkan masalah yang terjadidimasyarakat yang ada di daerah pulau pesisir. Program ekspedisi nusantara menitikberatkan pada kegiatan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pengolahan potensi sumber daya alam, pemahaman masyarakat tentang kesehatan, pendidikan, dan peningkatan ekonomi kreatif masyarakat melalui teknologi tepat guna. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah untuk meningkatkan kepedulian mahasiswa terhadap masyarakat maritim dan mengenalkan aktivitas masyarakat di daerah pesisir.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the form of lifestyle, review how peer influence is in shaping the lifestyle and the negative impact of the student's lifestyle. The method in this research is qualitative research using a case study (case study). Sources of data in this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Makassar who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The results of the study revealed that generally students make their lifestyle an effort to form an image. In addition, students seem extravagant and still depend on their parents in fulfilling their desires. Peers influence the formation of lifestyle through factors of imitation, suggestion, and sympathy. The negative impact in the formation of a lifestyle is a decrease in student achievement and motivation, changes in lifestyle that tend to be materialistic, and the formation of a pragmatic lifestyle. The conclusion of this research is that the influence of peer relations has a big impact on the student's lifestyle, so that it has more negative impacts. Keywords: Lifestyles, Peers.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the data and information and views on the condition of the standard achievements of educators and education personnel in Tolitoli District. This research applies qualitative research approach descriptively, using survey method, respondents as many as 36 people spread in six subdistricts in Tolitoli district, sampling with Purposive Sampling technique. The results of research, standards of educators and education personnel consist of academic aspects and competencies of educators and education personnel. The results of the questionnaire by 36 respondents consisting of high school education level obtained an average score of 3.5 from the ideal score of 4, achievement of 86.4% categorized very well. At junior high school level obtained an average score of 2.9 from the ideal score of 4, achievement of 71.3%% is categorized quite well. At elementary school level obtained an average score of 29 from an ideal score of 4, achievement of 73.7% is categorized quite well. In conclusion, overall, each level of education meets the achievement of the standards of educators and education personnel in accordance with the national standards of education with a fairly good category. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS melalui model problem based learning pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Tolitoli tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Subjek penelitian Tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Tolitoli tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 35 siswa sebagai subjek penerima tindakan, sedangkan untuk subjek pelaku tindakan adalah guru IPS kelas IXA selaku guru, teman sejawat selaku subjek yang melakukan observasi proses pembelajaran, Kepala Sekolah selaku subjek sumber data. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian Tindakan ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, tiap-tiap siklus terdiri dari: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IX A SMPN 2 Tolitoli tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPS siswa juga mengalami peningkatan yaitu sebelum Tindakan sebesar 70,88 pada siklus I sebesar 74,80 dan pada siklus II sebesar 85,37. Selain itu, presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa, yaitu sebelum tindakan sebesar 34,28%, pada siklus I sebesar 74,80% dan pada siklus II sebesar 94,28%.Kata Kunci: Problem based learning dan hasil belajar IPS siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara parsial Perencanaan Anggaran terhadap Keterlambatan Penyerapan Anggaran Belanja di wilayah pembayaran KPPN Tolitoli DAN Pengaruh Sumber Daya Manusia terhadap Keterlambatan Penyerapan Anggaran Belanja di wilayah pembayaran KPPN Tolitoli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif verifikatif (kausal) yaitu penelitian yang berguna untuk mengukur atau menganalisis suatu variabel yang mempengaruhi variabel lain. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 23 Kementerian/Lembaga di Wilayah Pembayaran KPPN Tolitoli di Kabupaten Tolitoli. Adapun variabel dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas 3 variabel bebas (independen) dan variabel terikat (dependen). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan koefisien determinan diperoleh nilai koefisien determinan yang disesuaikan (Adjusted R Square) adalah 0,163 artinya 16,3%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa 16,3% varian variabel keterlambatan penyerapan anggaran dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel perencanaan anggaran, sumber daya manusia dan pengadaan barang/jasa sedangkan sisanya sebesar 83,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini Keywords: Perencanaan Anggaran, Sumber Daya Manusia dan Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa
