Abstract

Salah satu prestasi yang membanggakan bagi seorang ilmuwan ialah apabila ia dapat menerbitkan karya ilmiahnya dalam majalah ilmiah internasional terkemuka. Semakin banyak terbitan seorang ilmuwandalam majalah ilmiah internasional, semakin mantap pengakuan internasional terhadap bobot atau kualitas keilmuwan seseorang. Yang lebih penting lagi ialah bahwa dengan kegiatau penerbitan ihniah internasional tersebut temuan ilmiah seseorang akan dapat dikomunikasikan kepada ilmuwan lain di seluruh dunia. Tetapi untuk mencapai hal ini memang memerlukan perjuangan yang gigih, terutama bagi para ilmuwan di negara-negara yang sedang berkembang.Kenyataan menunjukkan bahwa para ilmuwan di negara-negara maju masih meragukan kemampuan para ilmuwan di negara-negara berkembang untuk menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang patut diperhitungkan.Mereka berpendapat bahwa dengan fasilitas yang serba kekurangan maka mustahil para ilmuwan negara-negara berkembang dapat menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang "mumpuni". Dengan dasar anggapan inimaka para editor majalah ilmiah internasional terkemuka memandang artikel yang dikirim oleh ilmuwan dari negara berkembang hanya dengan sebelah mata. Tidak jarang para editor tersebut sudah merasa alergihanya dengan melihat asal negara pengirim artikel. Artinya kalau ada dua artikel dengan bobot ilmiah yang relatif sama, tetapi yang satu dikirim oleh ilmuwan dari negara berkembang dan satunya lagi oleh ilmuwan dari negara maju maka hampir dapat dipastikan editor tersebut akan memilih artikel yang dikirim dari negara maju.

Abstract

Hasil karya baik bentuk cetak maupun rekam yang dipublikasikan untuk umum, menurut Undang-Undang (UU) No. 4 tahun 1990 serta Peraturan Pemerintah RI (PP) No. 70 tahun 1991 wajib dilakukan serah simpan kepada Perpustakaan Nasional RI. Pemasyarakatn UU ini perlu dilakukan oleh pihak Perpusnas sebagai penanggungjawab atas pelestarian bahan pustaka yang ada di Indonesia.

Abstract

The Objective of this study is to analyze the subject research in order to construct a map of energy research conducted by R & D Institutions and university student in Indonesia. The method of the study uses Bibliometrics by collecting the data from 1998-2008. The data analyze throughout document mapping in co-word. The data result in energy sector that carried out by the R & D Institutions and the university is: 328 titles of thesis and 345 titles of research reports. Based on the collected data, there is a significant increasing in the research development from 1998 until 2008, except in 1999 which decrease from 1998 and 2004 decrease from 2003. The title numbers of university thesis from the highest are ITB, ITS, UGM, UNIBRAW, UI, UNSRI, USU, and another collections from other university are from PDII-LIPI. The title numbers of research institute are: Department of ESDM, LIPI, BATAN, KRT, and LAPAN. The research are focused on: biofuel, electricity energy, solar energy, coals, fuel energy, nuclear energy, wind energy, petroleum and natural gas, geothermal energy, bio mass and biogas, sea current and sea wave, steam energy, and hydrogen/fuel cell, whereas under the 10 research titles there are a lot of kinds of energy such as gas, earth gas, steam, and alternative energies, and others focuses. This study concludes that there are 46 topics which conducted research by university as well as R & D Institutions. The output of this study is database, containing of 960 records of energy research. The result shows the differences of mapping for energy research. This research recommends the need of documentation system policy on grey literature especially on energy research.

Abstract

This study focused on papers from the proceedings of the Conference of the Indonesian Digital Library (KPDI) within the period of 2013-2019, accessed from the KPDI website using the bibliometric method. The main purposes of the study were to identify 1) distribution of papers based on years; 2) number of single writers and collaborative writers 3) authorship patterns; 4) degree of collaborative writing; 5) number of average writers per paper and 6) productivity of writers. The results showed that from the 102 papers presented at the conference by 147 writers, the composition of papers written by single writers was 69 titles (67.65%) and by collaborative writers was 33 titles (32.35%). This is reflected in the pattern of authorship as follows. Single writer of 69 titles (67.65%), then papers written by two persons of 22 titles (21.56%), papers written by three persons of 10 titles (9.80%) and by four persons of 1 title (0.98%) The degree of collaborative writing was 0.32. The average number of writers per paper was 1.44 and Deden Sumirat was the most active writer who contributed 5 titles. It can be concluded that collaborative writings have not been highly performed in KPDI.
