Abstract

This article discusses Newton-Steffensen method to solve a nonlinear equation. The method is obtained by combining Newton's method with Steffensen's method. The proposed method has third order convergence. Computational examples illustrate that the discussed method is better than Newton method and Steffensen method in terms of obtaining the root for same initial guesses.

Abstract

Research on the analysis of fishing effort by fishing scraping net, held in April2015 in Sungai Nyamuk, Sinaboi Sub District, Rokan Hilir Regency Of Riau Province.The research of aims to analyze large venture capital investments, and how large grossincome and net income of using fishing scraping net. The method used is a surveymethod. Determination respondents stratification of random sampling performed usinga method that is done by looking at the motor boat scraping levels at the study siteconsisting of a motor boat with a cargo scraping net 0,7 GT and GT 1. Respondentswere drawn consists of a fishing effort using the tool catches scraping net to charge 1GT by 3 fishermen and fishermen scraping net 0,7 GT by 3 people.The total investments invested in doing scraping net fishermen fishing effort is Rp29.647.000, for a motor boat fishermen 0,7 GT and Rp 44.295.000 for boat motors 1GT. Gross income of scraping net fishermen for season of motor boat 0,7 GT Rp.305.000 of day and Rp. 109.000 for not season of day. For motor boat 1 GT Rp.385.000 for season of day and Rp. 183.000. Net income scraping net fishermen of 0,7GT Rp. 196.000 for season of day and not net income for not season of day. As forfishermen of motor boat 1 GT is Rp. 220.000 for season of day and Rp. 18.000 for notseason of day.Keywords: Scraping Net, worthiness of business investment, Rokan Hilir

Abstract

Abstract: This paper discusses the art of dance performances in public Ntak Kudo Rawang District Hamparan Rawang of Sungai Penuh City of Jambi Province. Performing arts dance Kudo merupan not one dance Rawang community which belongs to the art of dance culture. Kudo had no dance as entertainment functions Rawang community. Dance kudo can not dance danced by the young and old, there is no age limit. The aim of this study was to determine and explain the art of dance and the Kudo not prndorong existence in the era of globalization. This research was conducted using the method of history or historical. Data were collected through library research techniques, observation, documentation and interview. Data were analyzed with descriptive method, historical kompratif, and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the art of dance performance plot Kudo has an important role in a culture Rawang District Hamparan Rawang of Sungai Penuh City Jambi Province, the art is unbelievable displayed in traditional events of Rawang, such as coming of age rituals tradition wedding, banquet Sko (Heritage), customs Birthplace and traditional coming of age rituals. Each end of the ceremonial dance Ntak Kudo shown. So, dance Ntak Kudo is a dance culture and the identity of local communities. Kudo not dance very popular community and create a movement that is easily imitated dance Ntak Kudo be able to maintain its existence in the middle of globalization today.Keywords: Cultural dance, Ntak Kudo.

Abstract

ABSTRACT : The issues raised in this study is " What is the effect of exercise 100-Yard Sprint To Reaction time In Futsal Team Player Sport Coaching Education Force 2010 University of Riau?". This research is experimental research that aims to find out the effect of exercise 100-yard sprint toward reaction time In Futsal Team Player Sport Coaching Education Force 2010 University of Riau. The population is Player Sport Coaching Education Force 2010 University of Riau as many as 10 people.This study uses total sampling technique the entire population sampled. Based on the determination of sample, the sampel of 10 people. As the independent variable (x) was training 100-yard sprints while the dependent variable (y) is the agility. Were obtained and collected through the initial test and final test before and after exercise 100-yard sprint using a meansuring tool that is reaction timer  test. The method of processing data using descriptive statistics calculations and to test the hypothesis using the t test. The hypothesis proposed in this study is the effect of exercise 100-yard sprint to ward reaction time In Futsal Team Player Sport Coaching Education Force 2010 University of Riau.The results of the t test produced 7,65 and 1,833 t table at the significant level of 0.05. Means ttest> t table. It can be concluded that H0 is greater than the Ha. So,  the conclusion is there is a significant effect of exercise 100-yard sprint to ward reaction time Futsal Team Player Sport Coaching Education Force 2010 University of Riau.
