Abstract

Abstract The research aims to determine the Learning Outcomes of Problem Based Learning Models in Social Studies of Class VII Students of Junior High School 1 Mandor. The research method used in this research is Experiment with Quasi Experimental design and Posttest-only control design. Based on the result of the hypothesis obtained t count & gt; t table (5,532 & gt;2,00), which mean Ho rejected. This show that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes using a problem based learning models and a conventional models, if there is a significant difference then the treatment will affect significantly. So it can be concluded that applying of a Problem-Based Learning Model can affect the learning outcomes in IPS subject students class VII SMP Negeri 1 Mandor, can be seen from Effect Size Problem Based Learning Model on IPS Subjects Students Class VII SMP Negeri 1 Mandor of 1,46 included in the category of high. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of the study is to know which students are experiencing learning difficulties and to know the internal and external factors that cause learning difficulties. This research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed at describing and analyzing the phenomenon. Data obtained in the form of primary and secondary data and sourced from researchers as key insrtrumen, economics teachers, class XI students and other documents. In collecting data used observation techniques, interviews, documentation as well as tests and analyzed through the process of redukation, data presentation process, and the withdrawal process conclusion. The results showed that almost all students have difficulty learning economics from 50 people there are 43 students who have difficulty learning. If viewed from the material that is learned by the difficulties that students are involved in all materials studied in the even semester. While the internal factors that cause students to have difficulty learning are poor learning attitudes, lack of motivation to learn and bad learning habits.  As for external faktot cause learning difficulties because his teacher only use one method that is lecture method. In addition to that, the availability of limited learning facilities makes learning objectives not achieved with its presets.Keywords: Diagnosis, difficulty learning and factors cause

Abstract

AbstractThis study is entitled “Students’ perceptions towards accounting basic equations of XI-class students of social science in Bawari IslamicSenior High School Pontianak”.  The general statement of the problem stood on students’ perceptions about the subject of accounting equation which was divided into three specific questions. Those questions were as follows: How is student’s perception about the definition of accounting equation? How is student’s perception about implementation of using formula to calculate accounting equation? How is student’s perception about constructing financial statement material? For the method of investigation, the writer used descriptive method with qualitative approach. Direct communication such as interview and documentation acted as the techniques for data collection.  The research instruments were interview guide and documentation study. The result of the study showed that (1) students’ perceptions about the definition of accounting equation were more or less similar since  in understanding the  structure of financial statement materials was categorized as easy to be understood. It was proved by students’ abilities in defining accounting equation correctly (2) Students’ perceptions about implementation of using formula to calculate accounting equation could be categorized in the medium level. However, the interviewees (students) stated that ‘it is difficult to analyze the transaction and to locate the account at the correct place’ (3) Students’ perception about constructing financial statement material based on accounting equation was categorized as hard due to the interview result and their scores were unsustainable. Abstract

 Abstract Overview of research on the influence of professional competence on teacher performance, the influence of work motivation on teacher performance and the influence of professional competence and work motivation on teacher performance. Using quantitative methods. With testing techniques using a Likert scale. Validity test uses the Pearson Product Moment formula with SPSS version 17.0 program, reliability test using Statistics Cronbach's Alpha. The results of the trial obtained reliability of Professional Competence is> 0.60 that is equal to 0.779, Motivation is> 0.60 that is equal to 0.756 and Performance> 0.60 is equal to 0.802. The results of data analysis (1) professional competence is high, (2) teacher's work motivation is high, and (3) teacher performance is also high. There is a significant relationship (1) between professional competence and teacher performance, with the overall value (42.20%) of respondents being a high competence category, (2) between work motivation and teacher performance, with a value of 43.0%, (3) between professional competence and work motivation together on teacher performance with a value of 0.487 or 48.7%. this means that between Professional Competence and Work Motivation together influence the Teacher's Performance.  Keywords: Professional Competence, Motivation, Teacher Performance

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan metode pembelajaran STADdengan bantuan Peta konsep dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII, dengan sampel yang dipilih adalah kelas VIII A untuk kelas eksperimen dan VIII B untuk kelas kontrol.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan metode pembelajaran STAD dengan bantuan Peta konsep efektif untuk digunakan.Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai tes akhir model pembelajaran STAD dengan bantuan peta konsep diperoleh nilai minimal 5,80 dan nilai maksimal 8,50. Model pembelajaran STAD konvensional diperoleh nilai minimal 5,50 dan nilai maksimal 8,20.Hasil yang diperoleh dari nilai Fhitung sebesar54.981diperoleh nilai Ftabel sebesar 2,045. Karena Fhitung > Ftabel maka H0 ditolak.Dari hasil analisis tes akhirmenunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan kelas eksperimensecara klasikal sebesar 76,67%, sedangkan untuk kelompok kontrol secara klasikal 48,28%. Kata Kunci: StudentTeamsAchievement Divisions(STAD) dengan Bantuan Peta Konsep, Motivasi Belajar dan Hasil Belajar. The study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness STAD method using map mapping concept in improving motivation and students achievement of Eight Grade students. This experiemental study was conducted in the eight garde as the population, and involved randomly chosen Class A of eight grade students in experimental group and Class B of eight grade students in control group.The result shows that the used of STAD method using map mapping concept is effective as the teaching method. The data collections shows that the post-test from experimental group which conducted STAD map mapping technigue gains minimal score 5.80 and the maximal score 8.50. in the other hand for conventional STAD group gains minimal score 5.50 and the maximal score 8.20. Based on the result of post- test social test analysis shows that there is significant difference between experimental group with 76.67% and control group only 48.28%. Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research was comparative study on entrepreneurship interest on students in accounting major and marketing major grade XI at SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak.  The problem in this research was whether there were entrepreneurship interest on students of accounting major and students of marketing major at SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. The method in this research was descriptive comparative with the form of research ex post facto. The sample of this research was 60 students. The data obtained by using direct communication techniques by interviewing the teacher who taught entrepreneurship major. The direct communication techniques by using questionnaire and dokumenter study techniques with the data or documents. Based on the data analysis, the t result showed that the value of tcount < t table (0,050 < 2,001) with significance (0,960 > 0,05) in hence, Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected. Thus, it can be conlcuded that there is no entrepreneurship interest differences on the students of accounting and markering major in grade XI at SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. Keywords: Entreprenuership Interest, The Students of Entrepreneurship, The Student of Marketing Major

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to knowthe factors of influence of the students in class XI AK 1 at SMK Kristen Immanuel II Pontianak. The background og this research was a finding of problom when the reseacher did the observation about student participation in learning accounting. The method of this research was student of class XI accounting skills program, amounting to 42 students and teachers of accounting subject. Data collection was obtained through observation  and interview guidliness. The analized using data reduction, data presentation and verification/drawing conclusion of student participation based on comparison of number (percentager) a predicater, then checking  the validity of the data using triangulation technique. The observation was conducted twice and interview as much as two days. The result showed that human factor including personality and classmates that affect students participation can be  said to be low, while environmental factors that include facilities and sitting position of student that affect student participation can be said to be high.Keyword : Participation, Factor of human, Factor of environmental

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pelaksanaan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching dalam peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dengan materi pembentukan harga pasar pada kelas VIII SMP N 5 Kota Pontianak Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen.Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 5 Kota Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 siswa, dengan rincian 30 siswa pada kelompok eksperimen dan 30 siswa pada kelompok Kontrol.. Hasil analisis data menunjukan efektifitas model pembelajaran reciprocal teachingpada pokok bahasan pembentukan harga pasar memberikan kontrobusi sebesar 17.72 %. dalam meningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 21.23 % dalam meningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching, Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi Abstract : The research aims to identify the effectiveness of Reciprocal teaching to improving students motivation and achievement in Economic subject for Market Price establishment materials in eight year of SMPN 05 Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat. Quasi experimental design applied in this research. The population of this research are all of the students in eight year of SMPN 05 Pontianak in academic year 2012/2013. The samples taken by using cluster random sampling consist of 60 students which devided into two groups, 30 students in experimental class and 30 students in control class. Based on the hypotheses analysis identify effectiveness of Reciprocal Teaching in Market Price Establishment material give contribution 17.72% in improving students motivation and 21.23 % in improving students achievement. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) Mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 8 Pontianak (2) Mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 8 Pontianak (3) Mengetahui dan mempelajari gaya belajar dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 8 Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskrptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang. Pengambilan sampil dilakukan dengan cara simple randon sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket gaya belajar dan motivasi belajar, sedangkan hasil belajar diperoleh melalui dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi ganda dengan taraf signifikan 5% (= 0,05). Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Gaya belajar memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMAN 8 Pontianak. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan variabel gaya belajar mempengaruhi variabel hasil belajar sebesar 24%. (2) Motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan hanya sebesar 88%. (3) Hasil analisis uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa variabel gaya belajar (X1) dan motivasi belajar (X2) berpengaruh sebesar 61,9% terhadap hasil belajar. Kata kunci: Gaya Belajar dan Motivasi Belajar. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to (1) determine and study the influence of learning style on learning outcomes of students of class X SMAN 8 Pontianak (2) Know and study the effects of motivation on learning outcomes of students of class X SMAN 8 Pontianak (3) Knowing and learning styles and learning motivation to learn the results of class X student of SMAN 8 Pontianak. This study uses a quantitative approach deskrptif. Sample size was 30 people. Sampel retrieval done by simple random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires learning style and motivation to learn, while the learning outcomes obtained through documentation. The analysis technique used is multiple regression with a significance level of 5 % (? = 0,05). From the research it can be concluded that (1) learning style has a significant influence on the results of class X students of SMAN 8 Pontianak . The regression analysis showed variable learning styles affect learning outcome variable of 24 %. (2) Motivation to learn is a positive influence on learning outcomes regression analysis showed that only 88%. (3) The results of the determination coefficient test analysis concluded that learning style variable ( X1 ) and motivation ( X2 ) equal to 61,9 % influence on learningoutcomes.
