Abstract

Heat assisted magnetization reversal on perpendicular magnetized nano-dots has been studied by solved Landau Lifshift-Gilbert equation for magnetic recording application. The heat assisted magnetization reversal scheme has been proven to be effectively reduces threshold field down to 90 %. Otherwise, this field doesn’t depend on heating time. To understand a read-write information process, cooling time dependence of threshold field has been evaluated. As a result, the threshold field depends on the cooling time and become constant after 300 ps. This result corresponds to data transfer of Hard Disc Drive about 30 Gb/s.

Abstract

Multilayer sensor sensitivity [Ni80Fe20/Cu]N as results of electro-deposition on Cu wire has been modified by several variables; namely (i) the frequency of measurement, (ii) the number of iteration N on the system [Ni80Fe20/Cu]N, and (iii) the thickness of the spacer layer of Cu. If applied as a magnetic sensor, the measured sensor sensitivity can be calculated using the formula; ξ = 2 [(ΔZ/Z)max]/ΔH. The results of the sensitivity calculations show that the increase in the ratio of magneto-impedance directly proportional to the sensitivity of the sensor. To modify the frequency of the sample [Ni80Fe20(800nm)/Cu(300 nm)]3, the measurement sensitivity increases with increases in frequency. And the highest sensitivity is obtained 8.91%/ mT at a frequency of 100 kHz. Similar results were obtained in the variation of the number of iteration N multilayer [Ni80Fe20 (800 nm) / Cu (300 nm)]N. Senitifitas measurements at a frequency of 100 kHz and the highest number of iteration (N=5) obtained the highest sensitivity, which is 26.63%/mT. Furthermore, the sensitivity of the sensor showed a tendency to decrease with the increase in the thickness of the spacer Cu in multilayer [Ni80Fe20 (800 nm)/Cu (y nm)]3. Finally, the highest sensitivity was obtained 53.75% / mT for most thin thickness of the spacer Cu (y = 200 nm) which is the highest value in the whole of this experimentKeywords: Sensor Sensitivity, Ni80Fe20 , Frequency Measurement, Iteration Number, Spacer Cu

Abstract

Coercive field, Hc dependence of Pd seed under layer has been investigated for Co/Pd multilayer with perpendicular anisotropy magnetic. Structured Co/Pd multilayer fabricated by DC sputtering machine on glass substrate. Results indicated that Pd seed under layer of 50Å thicknesses successfully increased Hc from 800Oe to 1600Oe. The results could be related to the Co/Pd multilayered grain to grow separately leading exchange de-coupling effect, beside the increase of surface interaction.

Abstract

Ni-Fe alloy thin film on Cu substrate by electro-deposition method has been made without as well as with agitation of 300 rpm for a 3 minutes deposition time and potential of 3 Volt. The characterizations consist of crystal structure test by X-Ray Diffraction method, morphology and composition test by SEM/EDX and magnetoresistance measurement with two-point probes equipment. Result of the XRD test showed that the growth of crystal structure was in the same orientation on 111, 200, 220, 311with structure of fcc. Morphology test showed that the structural images of Ni-Fe surface thin film on agitation became flat and had less grain size. The composition test results showed that composition with agitation closely Ni80Fe20 (permalloy) was 87.51% for Ni and 12.49% for Fe. The magnetoresistance measurement was less with the agitation treatment i.e. without agitation was 9.1 % and with agitation was 1.9 %.

Abstract

Bio-impedansi sensor mulltilayer [NiFe(800)/Cu(300)]4 telah berhasil dibuat dengan metode elektro-deposisi. Respon bio-magneto-impedansi didefinisikan sebagai perubahan impedansi akibat medan terpasang (MI) dengan dan tanpa sampel daging. Profil respon bio-MI sampel daging sapi memiliki bentuk kurva yang setipe dengan kurva rasio magneto-impedansi dan bergantung pada frekuensi pengukuran. Respon bio-MI padapenelitian ini terbesar 0,7% pada frekuensi 100 kHz.

Abstract

Analysis of carrier charge mobility of Spirulina sp thin films produced by spin coating havebeen conducted. Measurement of carrier charge mobility has been done by I-V method.Mobility of carrier charge decreased with an increased of the layer number. It indicates that athreshold value of carrier charge of population number over flow on conduction band.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine the best medium to propagation entomopathogenic fungi C. militaris, to determine effectivity and dosage of C. militaris to control pupae of S. asigna. This research was conducted in plantation of PT. Satya Kisma Usaha Unit Batang Gading, Tanah Tumbuh County, Muara Bungo District, Jambi. The research was conducted from August to September 2020. This study used a non-factorial method, which was arranged in a completely randomizing design (CRD) with 1 factor, namely growth media. The growth media are consisted of corn seeds (M1) and bran (M2) and repeated 5 times. For dosage of fungi used a non-factorial method, which was arranged in a CRD with 1 factor, namely bran media. The bran media dosages are P0 = control (100 ml aquadest/polybag), P1 = 10 g C. militaris + 100 ml aquadest/polybag, P2 = 20 g C. militaris + 100 ml aquadest/polybag, P3 = 30 g C. militaris + 100 ml aquadest/polybag P4 = 40 g C. militaris + 100 ml aquadest/polybag and all of them are repeated 4 times. The results showed that bran medium is the best medium for fungi propagation. C. militaris was effectively to control pupae of S. asigna. The best of fungi dosage is P4 = 40 g C. militaris + 100 ml aquadest/polybag. The highest pupae mortality (100%) is achieved at 12 days observation.
