Abstract

The classroom monitoring system with an android application based on the ESP8266 chip was created to solve problems on campus in finding unused rooms and to provide solutions to the problems of finding classroom thus far by using inefficient manual methods. The monitor system was made to determine the status of classroom usage with a passive infrared (PIR) sensor which functions to detect human presence in the room and a light sensor with a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) to detect the use of the projector in the room. The two sensors are connected to the ESP8266 chip which is connected to a realtime database via the internet. The android application is specifically made to access monitoring data stored in a realtime database throughout it is connected to the internet. The results of this system test the PIR sensor reaches a maximum distance of 4 meters, a time delay of about 3 minutes, a reliable tool, and low cost.

Abstract

The system of remote monitoring electrical and control is a device that was created based on the problem of monitoring the need for electrical power connected to electrical devices and as a development of previous research. This monitoring and control system aims to determine the use of electric power at any time by reading the electric voltage and current with a voltage sensor and a current sensor respectively. The electrical power value that has been detected is forward to firebase and thingspeak, then transmit to the android application. This system is applied for usage monitoring of rooms connected to electrical devices as an indicator of room usage. The results of this system test are the minimum power load that can be detected is 80Watt, some loads still have a high error, but the system is able to detect at a certain distance effectively.

Abstract

Memasuki era Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi yang merambah hampir di semua lini kehidupan. Aktivitas manusia tidak dapat lepas dari sentuhan teknologi. ‘Aisyiyah Kota Tasikmalaya sebagai sebuah organisasi masyarakat sipil, belum merespons kondisi masyarakat yang hampir semua berbasis teknologi. Salah satu upaya dalam pengelolaan pengetahuan (knowledge management) ini dengan diselenggarakan sosialisasi pengenalan dan pelatihan pengelolaan Sistem Informasi ‘Aisyiyah (SIA) di wilayah Kota Tasikmalaya dengan harapan akan memperkuat kelembagaan ‘Aisyiyah sehingga mampu memberikan kontribusi kepada umat dan bangsa menuju Indonesia berkemajuan. Abstract

Temperature and humidity control systems are widely applied in agriculture. To increase crop yields and make it easier for agricultural actors, especially in plant cultivation, it is important to innovate in the development of technology that is growing rapidly. This study aims to analyze the level of validity and reliability of temperature and humidity control devices in a cultivation test room based on Arduino Mega 2560 with the help of SPSS. The results of the analysis and test of temperature and humidity control devices, with a maximum coefficient of variation of 1.86% and a minimum reliability coefficient of 0.62.
