Abstract

Jake Village road is a road that located in Kuantan Sengingi Regency, Riau Province. This road categorized as primary collector roads one of alternative road connected from Pekanbaru to Jambi via Lubuk Ambacang. The existing traffic from Jake Village road is dominated by truck vehicle as the road passes through the rubber and oil palm plantation area. The condition of road equipment facilities on Jake village road is still minimal, so an analysis of the placement of road equipment facilities are needed based on the Department of Transportation regulations 2006 and the geometric regulations of the Bina Marga Road in 1997. The results of the analysis on the Jake Village Road required 75% of warning signs and 99% of solid markers, because there are many sharp bends, climbs and derivatives along this road.Keywords : Jake Village, road geometric, Signs and Mark

Abstract

Sand of Pulau Island Bungin is a natural sand that comes from Batang Kuantan River, Koto Taluk Kuantan Village, District Kuantan Tengah, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. The availability of natural sand makes progress of Kuantan Singingi regency because it is easily obtained and more economical do not need to bring sand material from other area and do not have to go through stone breaking process by stone crusher. Based on the a general Specification Bina Marga 2010 Revision 3, the use of natural sand for asphalt concrete mixture (AC) should not exceed 15% of the total aggregate mixture weight. Therefore, we need to know the efficiency of natural sand usage in asphalt concrete mix (AC) for optimal utilization. This study aims to find out how optimum asphalt (KAO) and to know Marshall characteristics whether to meet the General Specification of Bina Marga 2010 Revision 3. The fine aggregate variation of natural sand used in this research is 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20 % Of the total weight of the aggregate mixture. The addition of natural sand in the asphalt concrete wearing course (AC-WC) causes the value of optimum asphalt (KAO) to decrease. In the mixed asphalt concrete wearing course (AC-WC), the addition of 10% saturated sand obtained an optimum asphalt (KAO) value of 6,10% and the largest stability value of 1.343 kg. If without considering the limits of natural sand usage as set out in Specification of Bina Marga 2010 Revision 3 then the natural addition of sand may still be used in asphalt concrete wearing course (AC-WC) until 20%.Keywords: Natural sand, mixed asphalt concrete wearing course (AC-WC), characteristics of Marshall and a general Specification Bina Marga 2010 Revision 3.

Abstract

Fire Company is an active protektif system in building structure. Pekanbaru is an area which is gristle to fire danger. Population of Pekanbaru City pertained is multitude, this affect to movement systems and development expanding everywhere. Location of effective post is an effort to minimize fire impact which possibly will happened. The research methodology consists of three phases: data collection, network analisys using network analyst extention, and discussion. Analyse optimation of station which have in Pekanbaru City conducted by using principle of service area to the stations which have been placed in one location. Service area in this study is defined as the minimum area that can be reached by fire station on the fire occur. Service area is generated using the network analisys extention in ArcGIS software. The results of this study indicate that stations still are not able to cover all of Pekanbaru areas. Station allocated by government in this time not enough served all region of Pekanbaru when at any times fire occur. On scenario 1-4 (existing station scenario with assumption speed of extinguisher car is 50-65 km/hour), stations cannot include all region of Pekanbaru. It means that Pekanbaru city still requires the addition of a new station building allocated to the areas not yet covered service area that is counted 5 (five) new stations.Keywords: optymal location, network analyst, service area , fire station

Abstract

Delima intersection is a 2/2 four arms UnDivided crossing. The environment around this intersection is a commercial area. There are several activities at the intersection approach, such as vehicles in and out of the shopping area intersections theat cause congestion. The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of Delima intersections and to find out the level of road service. The method used in this study was Indonesian Higway Capacity Manual 1997 which includes analysis of intersection capacity, queue length, signalised phase and delay. Data were obtained by conducting a survey of traffic flow conditions, cycle time and geometric intersection. From the results, the analysis of signalised performance on the existing condition of the highest delay is the North approach with an average delay value of 310.95 sec/smp and the level of service is included in category D. This is necessary to do alternative intersection settings. From the three alternatives considered, the alternative three is the best alternative with the delay value generated in the afternoon peak hours is 6.03 sec/smp. Abstract

Road construction requires heavy equipment in its work, one of them is road layer. Heavy equipments which currently use is dump truck, excavator, motor greder, water tank truck, tandem roller and wheel loader. The number of heavy equipment to itemized work selected heap, Class B aggregate and A class aggregate are 1 unit excavator, 1 unit wheel loader, 15 unit dump trucks, 1 unit grader motor, 2 unit tandem rollers, 1 unit water tank, selected heap work which use the provisions of the owner is 9 days and the contractor 11 days, class B aggregate work using the provisions of the owner are 7 days and 9 days contractor, A class aggregate work using the provisions of the owner are 5 days and 7 days contractor. The differences in the cost of heavy equipment is Rp.121.650.532 or higher by using contractor's heavy equipment. To determine the heavy equipment with a more efficient cost with a saving percentage of 12.93% then, the contractor must meet the provisions made by the owner with the economical life tool, the condition of the machine and eligible labor.Keywords : Cost analysis, heavy equipment, productivity, road layer

Abstract

Kampar district is an area with growth rate, high migration and urbanization. The development of an increasing number of people have an impact on the movement system in Kampar district, particularly Bangkinang city. Crowd and narrow access roads and the installation of the portal, the number of vehicle and traffic congestion is a barrier in the acceleration speed fire fighting units to arrive at the disaster site. A complicating factor is the outage channel away hydran /water ways/ river around the fire scene. This study aim to creating an optimal plan to determine the location where the fire station was placed. Given the potential for fire is becoming increasingly significant, these hazards must be anticipated and faced with a variety preventionefforts are comprehensive, systematic, effective and sustainable. This research used quantitative methods that located in Bangkinang city start from Juni 2014. The study is done by considering the speed of the vehicle (35 km/hours, 40 km/hours, 50 km/hours), mileage and travel time (5 minute, 10 minuteand 15 minute. By doing 3 (three) simulations carried out the importance of the result of each simulations calculations on the importance of the total area of service for each simulations is 231,818 km2, 357,755 km2, and 440,075 km2. Variable in this study is the optimization of the location and the fire station in Bangkinang, and applying SIG to develop models of the relationship between the criteria determine the location of emergency fire fighting facilities. Data analysis techniques aresimulation models in the form of the application of remote sensing technology, spatial analysis and descriptive direction of determining the location of new fire station. The results of this research shows that optimization modelling that the location of the fire department made to get the location of fire station locations right to produce efficiency and effectiveness in handling fires. Done by designing a few posts on some areas the fire department are Bangkinang. Accordingliy, this modeling is expected to minimize the impact of losses incurred or the lost of life, property, damage of public infrastructure and other physicalbuilding.Keywords : optymal location,service area, fire station, network analyst

Abstract

This study aims to investigate whether or not the extents of Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport which is located in Pekanbaru need to be developed. Using linear regression method, this study forecasted that there will be a need to develop terminal building area up to 63.414m2 with the capacity of passengers about 6.693.746 every year and it will be accommodated approximately 3724 passengers on peak hour in 2035. The development of terminal building area is bigger than existing area in 25.779 m2 and the capacity of passengers is 3,2 millions every year while accommodating 1866 passengers on peak hour.Keywords : Terminal Buiding, Development

Abstract

Lampa Strait Passenger Harbour in Natuna is a transportation amenities connecting Natuna Island with its surrounding area. The terminal building is unavailable in existing harbour. This design background is the increase of passengers and good tourism potential. The design of Lampa Strait Passenger Harbour do by combining the harbour function as a node of sea transportation network with tourism as an attraction to bring tourists as well as utilizing the harbour as a destination. The concept use in this design is sparkling in the ocean. This design is expected to accommodate tourism and transportation activities. The application concept in the design of Lampa Strait Passenger Harbour is in transportation and tourism activities that will be supporting each other which includes on the zone function between tourism and harbour, the vegetation, the circulation, the interior order, the outdoor space arrangement, form of the mass come from the result of design concepts elaboration, mass arrangements on interconnected treads, convenient utilities for users, building facades, and landscape arrangement, all of these aplication is to attract the tourist curiosity and passenger comfort.Keywords: Passenger Harbour, Transportation, Tourism

Abstract

Tampan is one of the sub-districts in Pekanbaru City, with flat geographical position between 0 ° 42'-0 ° 50 'North Latitude and between 101 ° 35'-101 ° 43' East Longitude. In Regional Regulation Spatial Plan Pekanbaru, Tampan subdistrict is a Development Area (WP) V. Development Area V is a center of residential, occupation, industrial, office, government and trade. The number of residents Kecamatan Tampan are 220,208 in 2015. This increased by 3.12 percent from 2014. Population density 3,682 inhabitants / km2Conducted to find out the extent of the impact caused by the development and change of land function which is marked by the utilization of land for the activities in the suburbs towards the function of Garuda Sakti street, Tampan Sub-district. The objective of this study is to produce the projection of Garuda Sakti Street function in the next five years, namely in 2022.The changes in residential land, trade and services, education and healt is increasing an average of 17.02 per year. movement of settlement area by 0,0095 smp/hour/m2, trade and service area of 0,0111 smp/hour/m2, education area 0,2603 smp/hour/m2 and health area 0,1738 Smp / hour / m2. The volume of traffic flow at peak hour is 1567 smp/hour. With a capacity of 1866 pcu/hour, the road class is debated into the secondary collector category.The suggestion in this research is that it is needed to improve the management of traffic engineering and consider to raise the road class become the primary collector.Keyword: Regional Development, Land Changes

Abstract

The rise of mall construction in the city of Pekanbaru today makes up the new idea about sports facilities by combining shopping places in it. Sports Mall is accommodate of two functions between places supporting sports activities and a place to support the city's economic activities as well as an icon of city development that has not existed before. The Sports Mall character that space efficiency, building support structures and aesthetics as an expression of sports and displays an open impression that is able to connect public space inside and outside the building. To fulfill this character, it can be done with the approach of the principles of high-tech architecture.
