Abstract

The purposes of this study are to find out: (1) Have the implementation of halaqah onto women cadre of SANTIKA on the Prosperous Justice Party?s (PKS) Surakarta Branch already reach an ideality, (2) The effectiveness of halaqah in formating political participation of women cadre of SANTIKA on the Prosperous Justice Party?s (PKS) Surakarta Branch, (3) The inhibiting factors of halaqah in formating political participation of women cadre of SANTIKA on the Prosperous Justice Party?s (PKS) Surakarta Branch. This study employs used a qualitative method. a single strategy stuck is used in this study. The sources of data were obtained from informants, the involving places, events and documents. This study uses purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data to obtain and compile research data was through observation, interviews and document analysis. To obtain the validity of the data, the triangulation of data and triangulation of methods were utilized. While, the model interactive analysis technique. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) The implementation of halaqah onto women cadre of SANTIKA on the Prosperous Justice Party?s (PKS) Surakarta Branch has not been  fully entirely ideal yet, (2) The effectiveness of halaqah has not been  fully effective yet in formating political participation of women cadre of SANTIKA on the Prosperous Justice Party?s (PKS) Surakarta Branch, it can be seen from the indicators of input, process, output, and outcome that are mostly not in accordance with what is expected, (3)The inhibiting factorsof halaqah in formating political participation of women cadre of SANTIKA on the Prosperous Justice Party?s (PKS) Surakarta Branch are: (a) The halaqah is lack of ideality, (b) The cadres lack in understanding and priority, The lack competence of the murabbiah (the woman leader of the halaqah), the lack of party control mechanisms, (c) Unsupported by surroundings. KATA KUNCI: Halaqah, Pendidikan Politik, Partai Keadilan Sejahtera

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study are, 1) to find out how the internet based- learning media through smartphone use in Pancasila and Civic education learning process at SMAN 1 Kartasura is applied and, 2) to describe the effects of the application of internet based- learning media through smartphone in Pancasila and Civic education learning process at SMAN 1 Kartasura.The approach used in this study was case study with descriptive qualitative method. The data were gained from interviewees, places, events, and documents.Subjects of this study were chosen through purposive sampling technique. The data were collected through interview, observation, and document analysis. In order to gain valid data, validity test was done through data triangulation and method triangulation. While the data were analyzed by using interactive analysis which the steps are as follows: (1) Data Reduction, (2) data exposure (3) Conclusion or verification. The followings are research procedure: (1) Preparation, (2) Data Collection, (3) Data analysis and, (4) research report writing.Based on the result of this study, it could be concluded that: (1) the application of internet based-learning media through smartphone use in Pancasila and Civic education learning process at SMAN 1 Kartasurais a civic teacher? innovation in learning process in accordance with appropriate learning media consideration which is also known as ACTION (Access, Cost, Technology, Interactivity, Organization, and Novelety, but it had not been optimal in access and technology factor. 2) The application of internet based-learning media affect positively to the students? understanding ability. It could be indicated since they had wider knowledge, furthermore they were critical, it was showed when they had courage in expressing their arguments in front of the class. In the other hand, the negative effect of this application was, the students were addicted, interact intensely with their smartphone, and they had to watch inappropriate news or advertisement while accessing the internet. Keywords: Internet based-learning media, Effect,  Smartphone

Abstract

The objective of research was to find out: (1) how the implementation of tolerance values internalization was by Forum Persaudaraan Bangsa Indonesia (FPBI) in Surakarta City, (2) what constraints Forum Persaudaraan Bangsa Indonesia (FPBI) in Surakarta City faced in implementation of tolerance values internalization in Surakarta City, and (3) how the effect of tolerance values internalization was on the improvement of social integration in Surakarta City. The internalization of tolerance values carried out by FPBI of Surakarta city exerted effect on the people?s tolerance attitude, despite not too considerable effect. However, the people who had attended the tolerance values internalization activity held by FPBI, the one in Kampung Baru, Pasar Kliwon Subdistrict, of Surakarta, had become more tolerant and appreciating the difference, thereby leading to the improvement of social integration, manifested in harmonious interaction among the people, the existence of social activity, and the cooperation between the people with different ethnical and religious background. KATA KUNCI: Internalisasi nilai toleransi, integrasi sosial.

Abstract

ABSTRACT      The research aims to know: (1) the implementation of musyawarahin campus extra organization in PMII Komisariat Kentingan and KAMMI Komisariat Sholahuddin Al-Ayyubi; (2) the inhibitor and incentive factors in the revitalization of musyawarah values which are done byPMII Komisariat Kentingan and KAMMI Komisariat Sholahuddin Al-Ayyubi: (3) the revitalization strategy of musyawarah values byPMII Komisariat Kentingan and KAMMI Komisariat Sholahuddin Al-Ayyubi.This research used qualitative research method and case study research approach. Sampling technique which was used was purposive sampling. The technique of collecting data was through observation, interview and documentation. The data validity used triangulation data and triangulation method. The data analysis technique which was used was interactive analysis model include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.The research findings show that (1) The implementation that was done in both organizations have shown the efforts in performing musyawarah values by doing a program or activity like discussion, meeting implementation and chairman election. The specific implementation which was done byPMII Komisariat Kentingan was by forum contract in mapabaand LSO discussion, meanwhile the specific implementation which was done by KAMMI Komisariat Sholahuddin Al-Ayyubiwas through TEKAD and Daurah Marhalah. (2) the inhibitor factors in musyawarah values revitalization generally cover:Lack of confidence,lack of reading habits, time problem,the administrators and members are busy, study oriented and negative feels toward campus extra organization. The incentive factors inPMII Komisariat Kentingan cover, Human Resources, interesting materials, good relations with outsidersand support from the lecturer. The incentive factors in KAMMI Komisariat Sholahuddin Al-Ayyubicover: spirit, interesting topics, high criticality,  good adaptation and alumnus who contribute. (3) The strategies which were done byPMII Komisariat Kentingancover: a) Faculty discussion; b) Reviving kader; c) Forming a community; d) Inserting humor in the forum; e) Utilizing da?wah field with cultural approach in religion and education; f) PKM corner; g) Absorbing aspiration; h) Training of basic and aswaja; i) Focus Group Discussion (FGD).Meanwhile, the strategies which were done by KAMMI Komisariat Sholahuddin Al-Ayyubi cover: a) Trial program and BPO socialization; b) Dwi pekanan discussion; c) MK Khos and MK Klasikal; also e) Making creation.  Keywords: Revitalization, Musyawarah Values, Campus Extra Student   Organization

Abstract

This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive form of research. Data sources are used consisted of: informants, places , events and documents. Sampling technique that be used is purposive sampling. Techniques of data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Validity of the data by using triangulation of data and triangulation methods. While, the analysis is using interactive techniques of analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The results showed that: (1) Political participations of the circular citizen in  Bulukerto village in Central Java?s guvernor election in 2013 only on the vote, discussion and socializing. The use of suffrage only 30.09% of the total  circular population in the Bulukerto village. In the socialization activity only 1 of 18 informants and discussion only 4 of 18 informants. (2) Factors that affect the participation of circular residents in Bulukerto villages influenced by factors within the individual that is because a) the mindset of people who do not believe in government, b) figure candidates for governor and lieutenant governor are less popular among the people. While the external factors because a) a job factors, the majority of circular  citizen chose not to leave the job rather than voting, b) other factors are the polling places is so far from the city circuler population mobility, c) in administrative, circular populations are not enrolled in Daftar Pemilihan Tetap (DPT), and also they did not get an invitation. Kata kunci : partisipasi politik, pemilihan gubernur

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objectives of research were (1) to find out the forms of modelling in Personality Competency of Civic Education teacher in SMP Negeri 1 Mojolaban, and (2) to find out the implication of Civic Education teacher?s modelling to creating the students? discipline character in SMP Negeri 1 Mojolaban.    This research employed a qualitative research approach, with descriptive qualitative research type. Data source derived from informant, place, event, and document. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling one. Techniques of collecting data used were interview, observation, and document analysis. Data validation was carried out using data and method triangulations. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model of analysis. Considering the result of research, the following conclusions could be drawn. (1) The forms of role model in personality competency of Civic Education teacher were as follows: The personality of a disciplined teacher, democratic, patient, tolerant, broad-insight teacher personalities. (2) The implication of Civic Education teachers to the creation of students? discipline character was as follows: the students could receive and imitate one of Civic Education teachers?  modelling, indicated with their coming early to classroom when the lesson began, students completing school attribute and uniform, students attending the lesson in the classroom and no truancy, students always attending flag ceremony, and maintaining the cleanliness at school. However, role model is the most decisive factor in creating the students? discipline; it could be seen from the students showing the discipline character only in the classroom Civic Education teachers class VII while the other teacher?s class had not shown the discipline character yet.   Keywords: Personality Competency, Civic Education, Modelling, Discipline                                   Character

Abstract

research produced strategy the Pancasila values reinforcement through the innovation of Civic Knowledge-, Civic Disposition-, and Civic Skill- Oriented Civic Education Learning. Such the strategy built on the renewal of existing content in Civic education course. The reinforcement strategy obtained by studying the conceptual theoretical framework in ontological hierarchy of Civic Education at College through studied object in which the ideal, instrumental and practical aspects were examined. In this research, the ideal aspect was the study on Civic Education regulation policy at College; instrumental aspect was the content of Civic Education at college, while practical aspect was the potential challenge or threat of the Pancasila values implementation in life, Pancasila values reinforcement in Civic Education, and Civic Education problems emerging at college. This research was conducted in both public and private college in Solo City with lecturers and students as the subject of research. This study was a descriptive philosophical qualitative This research. The data collection was conducted by interviewing the practitioners and lecturers relevant to the research, observing the lecturers and students in Civic Education learning process, studying the document relevant to Civic Education policy, and holding Focus Group Discussion with experts, lecturers and students. The data validation was done by improving the persistence of conducting research, triangulation, observation extension, discussion and theoretical study. The data obtained was then processed through reduction, analysis process and presented qualitatively. The conclusions of research were 1) the presence of potential challenge and threat against the implementation of Pancasila values in life deriving externally that was primordial in nature (ethnic, race, religion), externally by the presence of globalization development, the presence of external factor of western ideology affected both directly and indirectly the nation life. 2) The Pancasila values reinforcement strategies in Civic Education at college included renewing the content of Civic education by strengthening the Civic Education  core in each substance of study; thereby in its development, each substance of study was inspired by the Pancasila values philosophically. 3) The form of innovation or renewal for reinforcing the Pancasila values in Civic Education was the further extension of the Pancasila values reinforcement strategy in Civic Education course in the form of standard product, the substance of which was inspired by the Pancasila values as the core of Civic Education.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine whether or not there was an effect of education media video on the learning outcome of the 7th graders of SMP Negeri 2 of Gondangrejo in the school year of 2015/2016 in Basic Competency explaining the essence of freedom of speech. This study was a quantitative research with experimental method. Experimental method used was posttest only control design. The population of research was all of the 7th graders of SMP Negeri 2 of Gondangrejo consisting of 5 grades. The sample was taken using cluster random sampling technique, and 64 students were obtained as the sample divided equally (32 students for each class) into two classes: experiment and control. The data collection was carried out using documentation and observation techniques for data of education video media and objective test for data of students? learning outcome. Prerequisite test used was normality and homogeneity tests. Technique of analyzing data used was two-independent sample t test. Considering the result of research, the mean learning outcome of students was 82.5313 in experimental and 70.1563 in control classes. The result of t-test at significance level of 5% showed that tstatistic > ttable 4.632056 > 1.99897, thus Ho was not supported and Ha was not supported. It showed that there was a difference of learning outcome between experiment and control classes. The mean value showed that the learning outcome of students in experiment class was higher than that in control class. Considering the elaboration above, it could be concluded that there was an effect of education video media on the learning outcome of the 7th graders of SMP Negeri 2 of Gondangrejo in the school year of 2015/2016 in Basic Competency explaining the essence of freedom of speech.

Abstract

Islam is a guide for living that Moslems used not only as a religion--studies in the West, but it is also system that covers all aspects of human life. The universality of Islam as a religion and social system can be evidenced from the four aspects: metaphysical, religious, sociological and political aspect. As the faith of the monotheism of God in which is applied in very strong believe, Islam is a universal ideology that can not be equated with other ideology and religion. In relation with politics, Islam provides strong foundation. Nationalism is a small part of the political system of Islam. One figure who has harmonized between Islam and nationalism is Hasan Al-Banna, a charismatic contemporary scholar of Egypt. Through the establishment of Moslem Brotherhood, Al-Banna  becomes most important figure in the Islamic world a successful merge between thought and movement in a return Muslims to their believe.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out (1) the Civic Education teacher?s mastery of Information Technology and Communication (ICT)-based learning media in public junior high schools in Selogiri Sub District; (2) the Civic Education teacher?s awareness of using ICT-based learning media; (3) the attempt taken by headmaster to use the Civic Education teacher?s mastery in using ICT-based learning media; and (4) Civic Education teacher?s pedagogic competency viewed from the mastery of ICT-based learning media in Public Junior High School in Selogiri Sub District.This study employed a qualitative interactive method and qualitative descriptive approach with case study. The data source included informant, place, activity, document with purposive sampling. Techniques of collecting data were interview, observation, and documentation study. To validate the data, data and method triangulations were used. Considering the result of research were: (1) Civic Education teacher?s mastery of ICT-based learning media in public junior high schools in Selogiri Sub District was still low in which Civic Education teacher?s knowledge and ability of using computer, LCD, internet, various information and media, and of dealing with barrier or constraint in using ICT-based learning media were still limited; (2) the Civic Education teacher?s awareness of using ICT-based learning media was still low because the attempt of learning anything related to ICT-based learning media, there had been no personal willingness in using ICT-based learning media, and there had been no willingness and attempt of selecting the ICT-based learning media relevant to Civic Education. (3) The attempts taken by the headmaster to improve the Civic Education teacher?s mastery of ICT-based learning media were moderately and fairly good including providing infrastructure, holding training of ICT, giving moral support /advice/instruction/direction to Civic Education teacher in order to improve the mastery and the utilization of ICT. (4) Civic Education teacher?s pedagogic competency in Public Junior High Schools in Selogiri Sub District was still low viewed from the mastery of ICT-based learning media.
