Abstract

The local government of Kulonprogo had been making efforts in realizing a zero-waste village. It was proven by the establishment of waste banks with a total of 100 units with no exception in Karangsari village. However, the waste management had not been optimum despite the fact that the waste could be processed into goods with economic value. The limited knowledge and lack of skills became an obstacle in carrying out the waste management. Therefore, there needed to be efforts to improve the human resources in order to conduct both organic and inorganic waste management. The community empowerment towards zero waste village in Karangsari village, Pengasih sub-district, Kulonprogo aimed at creating a healthy environment, providing employment opportunities, creating featured products of environmentally-friendly village and supporting tourism potentials of Kulonprogo in order to increase the community income as well as the regional income. The method used in this study was zero waste industry-based organic and inorganic waste management system. The zero-waste industry concept consisted of actions to reduce, reuse and recycle. The outputs resulted from the study include zero waste industry-based organic and inorganic waste management technique, village featured products of various environmentally-friendly souvenirs, MSME establishment, new employment opportunities and environmental awareness improvement.

Abstract

Adolescents are time of great curiosity and experimentation and complex problems such as misbehavior, premarital sex, early marriage. It is important to describe to adolescent correct information and become supporter for her peoples especially in health promotion field. Teenagers are very adaptable to various changes and are very critical in responding to various information. Internet-based media is very popular among teenagers. However, the basics of designing and composing messages of these media are still low among teenagers. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of adolescents in the design of information media and health counseling in Yogyakarta City. This workshop used skill development method with the activity of lecturing and practice which last for 2 days. The result of the workshop are to increase the knowledge of adolescent about information media and health counseling, to produce a product that is in the form of poster, and by utilizing Google Plus application, formed a forum with the name of Media Information and Counseling of Adolescent. Through this forum, teenagers can share information in various ways such as uploading media, sharing information links, and discussing about adolescents issues

Abstract

AbstractBackground: The number of treatment options for making competition among hospitals increasingly stringent anyway though not the business competition. The amount of this option makes every hospital must calculate the unit cost of each so as to make the right policy in determining the hospital tariffs. PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul is one of the largest hospital in Bantul. The Muhammadiyah owned hospitals have a social mission in providing health services to the community. The social mission of making hospitals PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul in setting the rates must be in accordance with the ability of the community. This is because the target consumer PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul majority of the lower middle class people. Currently PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul is developing the building, including increasing the number of beds to 300. Increasing the number of beds will make PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul as the largest Muhammadiyah hospital in Yogyakarta. The existence of this development will be made possible due to changes in the level of rates increasing operational needs. Background of the researchers interested in studying the patient's willingness and ability to pay in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bantul.Methods: This research is analytic research. Using cross sectional study design. The sample in this study amounted to 87 respondents.Results: Based on the analysis that has been carried out showed that the patient has the ability to pay an average of 100 033. While the average willingness to pay of patients included in the high category in the amount of 71.26 percent.Conclusions: 1) The average ability to pay inpatients Rp 100 033, estimated for three days. 2.) In order to conduct the promotion of hospital managers in an appropriate manner, for example by offering affordable rates to the public. Keywords: willingness to pay, ability to pay

Abstract

Background: Theprocess of development is Nur Hidayah Hospital (RS Nur Hidayah) Bantulmakes employees work load increases. Improved performance the hospital can improveemployee performance. If the employees performance is getting better, the service given to thepatients will be getting better too. The researcher interested to do research the relationship ofworkload with performance of employees.Method: This was descriptive research using cross sectional approach. Research of method that used quantitative, the number of 79 employees respondents. The data analyzed using correlation analysis. Workload assessed by questionnaire, performance while using a checklist.Result: Performance (92,4 %) employees are included in the high category, while for the majority of the workload of employees included in the medium category with a percentage 54, 4 %. There is no significant relationship of workload with employee performance (p (0,066)>0, 05).Conclusion: This study shows employee performance is already high. There is no significant relationship of workload with employee performance Nur Hidayah Hospital in Bantul.Key words: Work load, performance

Abstract

Background: : The process of development is a Nur Hidayah Hospital (RS Nur Hidayah) Bantul makes employees work load increases. Improved performance the hospital can improve employee performance. If the employees performance is getting better, the service given to the patients will be getting better too . While the employee's performance can be influenced by the work motivation. The researcher interested to do research the influence of motivation on performance of employees.Objective: Measure of motivation and employee performance. Measure the influence of motivation on employee performance.Method: this was quantitatif descriptive research using cross sectional approach plan. the number of 79 employees respondents from 111 employees. The data analyzed using correlation analysis. Motivation assessed by questionnaire, performance while using a checklist. Result and discussion: Motivation (82, 3%) and performance (92, 4 %) employees are included in the high category. There is significant influence between motivation on employee performance (r=0,775 p (0, 00) <0, 05). Influence of intrinsic motivation (r=0,737) more powerful than extrinsic motivation (r=0,325). There is influence of the sub variables of responsibility (p=0,032), recognition (p=0,002), work achievement (p=0,007), career development (p=0,000), work (p=0,016), promotion (p=0,029), work condition (p=0,001) on employee performance.Conclusion and recommendation: This study shows motivation and employee performance is already high. Overall there is a strong influence on employee work motivation Nur Hidayah Hospital Bantul. Work motivation still need to be maintained and improved for the better employee performance.Keywords: Motivation, intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, performance

Abstract

Background : Complexity of hospital marketing strategy that have social function needed research to analyses marketing strategy have been applied by PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta hospital, especially to promote Laparoscopy Product. Marketing strategy of the segmentation, targeting and positioning. The aim of the research to analyses marketing strategy of PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta to promote Laparoscopy product.Method : This was descriptive research using qualitative method. The subject was director of public and financing, the chief of marketing, and patient of Laparsocopy user. Data from the resources person was analyses carefully.Result : Strategy analyses used marketing analyses, product analyses, and competitor analyses. Laparoscopy marketing segmentation was the middle and lower social class of the patient. No distinct market targeting yet of the marketing segmentation have been applying, its caused marketing not effective yet. The position of Laparoscopy product based on seven based variable those were: attribute positioning, benefit positioning, application positioning, user positioning, competitor positioning, product category positioning, and quality/price positioning.Conclusion : Laparoscopy marketing in PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta have been effective insight amount of the patient who have been using of the Laparoscopy product. However, improving better services that Laparoscopy product capable become positioning product. Abstract

Supplementary food distribution for pregnant women still depends on the local policy. This program is funded using Health Operational Funds and distributed in form of milk, eggs, raw materials such as green beans and others. The field constraints of this program were acceptability and willingness of pregnant women to process the raw materials. This study aims to address the problems of providing supplementary food for pregnant women who suffer from chronic energy malnutrition and anemia by making the formulation of high protein biscuits and Fe using soybean flour substitution catfish eggs and flour as a source of protein and Fe.  Biscuits produced is expected to be one of the snacks and nutritions for women who suffer from chronic energy deficeincy. The ingredients were flour, fish powder, soy flour, eggs,  milk powder, sugar, and maize flour. The method used was pure experimental approach completely randomized design with three times repetition. The formulation of the biscuits proportion between fish and soy flour as much as 2:1, 1:1, and 1:2. Proximate test shows that the proportion of fish and soy flour 1:2 has the highest energy value (496.81 kcal) with a value of 17.74% protein. Organoleptic test indicates that the most favorable taste and tekstur was the formulation with the proportion of fish flour and soy flour 1:2. The formulation of high protein and Fe biscuits for women with chronic energy malnutrition and anemia in Boyolali favoured by third trisemester pregnant women is the one with the proportion of 1:2.

Abstract

Background: Service is an effort made by the employee to fulfill his customers' wishes with the services to be provided. Satisfaction is one indicator of the quality of service that we provided and patient satisfaction is a capital to get more patients and to get loyal patients. Customer loyalty is determined by the quality of service that shapes the patient's satisfaction resulting in an impact on hospital image and patient confidence. This research aims to. Objective: find out the relationship between service decision and customer loyalty in Muhammadiyah PKU hospital in DIY Methodology: This research type included quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted at three PKU hospitals in Yogyakarta. The number of samples in this research amounted to 300 respondents who are patients at the hospital PKU Muhammadiyah in Yogyakarta. The data analysis is used uni-variate and bivariate analysis using chi-square test. Result: The results showed that out of 300 respondents studied, respondents who were less satisfied with the services of PKU Muhammadiyah hospital in Yogyakarta were 193 (64.3%) and respondents who were satisfied with the service of PKU Muhammadiyah hospital in Yogyakarta were 107 (35.7%), respondents who were not loyal to the service of PKU Muhammadiyah hospital in Yogyakarta were 98 (32.7%) and respondents who were loyal to the service of PKU Muhammadiyah hospital in Yogyakarta were 202 (67.3%). The results of bivariate analysis showed that p-value α (0.001 <0.05), so it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected which meant that there was a relationship between patient satisfaction and patient loyalty in PKU Muhammadiyah hospital in DIY. Conclusion:The level of satisfaction of PKU hospital patients showed that more patients are less satisfied with the higher service compared to patients who are satisfied with the Service, the level of patients who are loyal to the higher service than patients who are not loyal. There is a relationship of patient satisfaction with patient loyalty.

Abstract

Background : Human resources are hospital assets that play a role in hospital services. One of the human resources in the hospital is a nurse. Nurses are front-line employees of the hospital who often interact with patients and play an important role in creating a good image of hospitals that often interact with patients by providing the best service. To achieve the highest quality of service, nurses must have a strong motivation, leaders who inspire subordinates, a culture of help to provide the best service. Nurses' attitudes and behavior in providing the best service aims to improve the effectiveness of hospital performance without ignoring individual productivity goals known as the Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB). This study aims to determine the relationship of motivation, leadership, and organizational culture with Organization Citizenship Behavior toward nurses in Grhasia Psychiatric Hospital. Methods : This study was a quantitative analytic research with a cross sectional design. The research subjects were nurses of Grhasia Psychiatric Hospital involved to 66 nurses. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis with unvariate and biavariate analysis. Result: The bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between motivation and OCB toward nurses in Grhasia Psychiatric Hospital p-value = 0.010. There is a relationship between leadership and OCB toward nurses in Grhasia Psychiatric Hospital p-value = 0,001. There is a relationship between organizational culture and OCB toward nurses in Grhasia Psychiatric Hospital p-value = 0.031. Conclusion: There was a relatioship of motivation, leadership, and organization culture with Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) toward nurses in Grhasia Psychiatric Hospital.

Abstract

Background: One of the government's efforts to achieve health development goals is by issuing the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation Number 75 of 2014 concerning Public Health Centers (Puskesmas). The role of the puskesmas and its network as institutions that provide health services at the first level that are directly involved with the community is very important. The Puskesmas is responsible for organizing health development in its working area. To improve the performance of the puskesmas, complete information is needed about the puskesmas, including relating to the condition of the health center and its facilities, the condition of the health center network, and the staff at the puskesmas. A work culture and good collaboration are needed to achieve organizational goals (puskesmas). The lack of optimal implementation of puskesmas policies can be characterized by a lack of cooperation, not yet socialized puskesmas programs and weak human resources in providing services. This can happen because employees do not fulfill their duties and responsibilities, so evaluation is needed in order to produce good performance. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between work culture and collaboration with the performance of health workers in all Yogyakarta city health centers. Research Methods: This study is an analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 159 puskesmas employees who were chosen propotively stratified random sampling. The study was conducted in April - May 2019 in all Yogyakarta City Health Centers. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with Correlation statistical tests. Research Results: Test of correlation statistics shows the value of p-value of work culture with a performance of 0.004 (p value <0.05). Likewise the statistic test was carried out on collaboration variables with a performance of 0,000 (p value <0.05). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between work culture and collaboration with performance.
